Hi guys. Would've been on sooner if I hadn't had as much homework and I hadn't updated my fanfic.

Welcome to Phantom Roxas It's a shame you had to come right in the middle of a minor spam-fest but I hope you enjoy your time here.

I know talking with you doesn't accomplish much at this point Tempest, as you're not on, but I'm sure things can't be that bad. And while I would try to offer words of comfort, I'm not good at that by any means.

NO, I did XD I pointed out Simon's qualities and explained how it is, moreso than my teacher ever thought. Also, you can say Jesus or Christ. Just not too much.

It isn't a pain. Actually, I enjoy it. I read a lot of books that involve good/evil/Jesus so this is simple.

True not really a pain mostly just annoying. Heck fact any writing I don't choose to do is just annoying to do.

Funny how you had to point it out. My teacher made sure to tell that to us. I'd never thought of it, even though I'm religious I don't go looking for Christ-figures in books I read. Of course after she told us I saw it right away.

Well, this was my third time reading the book (8th grade in one school, 9th in private where they pointed out Simon, and 11th).

My teacher mentioned it, but I spelled out how the fear of the beast/evil died when they killed Simon, how Simon went into the "Wilderness" and had a convo with the beast, etc.

It's on the themes of the book, at least two. Here are the three I chose to do.

1. Evil is inherent.

2. Society restrains evil, and said evil will be unleashed without it.

3.Adults in the world are hypocrites.

A study of evil really. (Ted Dekker FTW. I'm studying Black, in effect)

So you have to describe each theme in depth and provide textual support I assume?

I remember the only big writing thing we did was an in-class essay on what a specific character/object represents. As I recall our teacher drew one paper with the name of one symbol on it out of a hat and the whole class had to write on that symbol. That way we had to know the whole novel not just one thing. Fortunately my class got Ralph, pretty easy.

I've had a good run on this site, but now I think it's time to leave. You have all reached a new level of respect from me and my own heart. I thank you all for the good times and hope to see you again someday. AIM: endingthemission, MSN: [email protected]
