fenrir
[spoiler=What I have for Denmos so far]Geography and Climate:The Isle of Denmos is a ‘watery’ island. That is, the island is partially underwater. The large Krukuren ocean surrounds the Isle of Denmos. The ocean itself is very rough and wild surrounding Denmos, however, once coming into Denmos, it becomes much calmer. The climate of Denmos varies based on season. In the winter, it snows, and in the summer, it rains. Usually it is about 74 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, with it being about 52 in the night. Denmos is made of extremely tall ‘baboo’ trees. These trees represent overgrown mangroves, with large orange fruits the size of a boulder being bared by them. For a better comparison, the average Baboo tree is about 3/4s the height of Mt. Everest. The branches of the Baboo tree are net like. They spread out in a wide arc and contain ‘holes’. However, these branches are quite thick and thus they can support up to 15 times their own weight. At the end of each branch there is a large flower the size of a modern car. During spring, they bloom beautiful pink sakura like petals. The petals are often considered good luck with romance, and a couple that happens to cross a rare petal is ‘guaranteed’ to be together for the rest of their lives. The ground area of Denmos is vastly different. It’s very marsh like, with banks of sand surrounding each individual Baboo tree. However, water goes up to an average man’s knee here. This makes it difficult to cross the island, seeing as travelers would have to trudge through sand and various aquatic plants.

fenrir
destron, I found Norse Mythology in there. [spoiler=History of Denmos~]History:Originally, Denmos was uninhabited. That is, there were no sapient species residing on the island. Incredibly intelligent beasts, yes, but no humans. At least, that’s what everyone thought. Eventually a group of colonists decided to try the island. To see if creating a colony there was worth it. Needless to say, they were stunned with what they saw. A beautiful island, with exotic plants and animals. Unfortunately, there was too much water to successfully create a colony. They did stay a while however, as a wicked storm crashed their ship into the mainland of the island. Their home was now a torn ship held up by giant branches. They fed off of fruits and small squirrel like creatures, but they were never satisfied. Eventually, another species was discovered. They were a mutation of a once human species. They called themselves Seros. They were green skinned humans, with brightly colored hair mimicking that of a fruit. However, they were all females. Originally, they seemed peaceful. The colonists, all males at the time, often mingled with them to learn their ways. Eventually, an accident occurred. A colonist was pushed to his death by a Sero. It was an accident, as the Sero was originally trying to show the colonist a flower. This scared the colonists, and thus they kept themselves to their torn up ship. However, a young male had fallen in love with a Sero female, and vice versa. He escaped the ship and they secretly wed. Soon enough, a new species of human was born. Called, ‘Serans’, they look like normal human beings. The only exception being their abnormally colored hair. They could survive amazingly on this island however, being able to combine the skills of a human and Sero together. Eventually, the small group of colonists died. Another group came, greeted by the Seros almost instantly this time. Time took its toll, and the Serans rose in number. Thus the civilization on this island began. Serans were the dominate race, with Seros and humans both second in terms of numbers.
