For a long time, I've wanted a card like this. And about five minutes ago, I had it.

 

Damaged Receptors

Normal Trap

Discard 2 cards from your hand. Until the End Phase, when a player takes damage, negate it. Then deal damage equal to the amount negated to the opposite player.

 

Reflect Blaster

EARTH

Machine/Effect

Each time damage is taken by a player other than its intended target, increase that damage by 500 points.

 

So do your thing, WC.

Wouldn't it negate the damage it deals and make an infinite 1-card loop? Mention "except by the effect of "Damaged Receptors"." Not "this card", otherwise the same problem appears with 2 of them.

This seems like a very odd stall card, making you invincible until some s/t removal hits it. Not sure where it'd see use, outside of alt. win Decks (Exodia, Mill, ect)

That addresses Griffin's concerns. It does not deal damage itself, ergo no loop. Neat card, but needs a maintenance post. 8/10

I think I can fix the effect:

 

Each time damage is taken by a player other than its intended target, increase that damage by 500 points.

 

Some creating OCG-ing on my part.
