Spectrobes origins

This game was just realesed last month and there have been no real walkthroughs so here.

 

Chapter 1: Wyterra

 

Start in front of the patrol cruiser. The tutorial showing you how to move is shown. Make your way to the ruins, dodging the Krawl. You cannot battle at this point so you have to escape to the ruins without defeating the Krawl. Talk to Radese and the villagers. Once you enter the ruins, a tutorial on how to talk is shown. After talking to Radese and several villagers within the ancient ruins, and then to Radese again, the doors to the Chamber of Ordeals open. Conduct the battle tutorial in the Chamber of Ordeals. Follow the tutorial and defeat the enemies. You can use two Spectrobes to start with, as shown in the tutorial on swapping Spectrobes. Before you leave the ruins, you receive Rice Balls and are told about Save Points in a tutorial.

 

Exit the ruins and defeat the Kurags. The first time you use a Special Attack, the tutorial for that is shown. The first time you pick up a Charge, Super, and Barrier Orb, a tutorial is shown as well. You will learn Special Attacks from LV10.

 

Go to the village and find Radese in his house. Talk to Radese. Go to the excavation site and find a fossil block. After a conversation that starts when you enter the site, a tutorial on exploration is shown. The first time you get a mineral, a tutorial will be shown. After you find a fossil block, a conversation occurs, then enemies appear. Go back to the village and talk to Radese.

 

Return to the patrol cruiser and talk to Jeena. Go through the excavation tutorial. Follow the tutorial and excavate the fossil. Awaken the fossil. A tutorial is shown before the awakening begins. A tutorial for search team formation is shown. Follow the tutorial and set a search Spectrobe in your Cosmolink. Go back to the village and talk to Radese. When you leave the patrol cruiser, a tutorial on changing Spectrobes is shown. Talk to the villager who is in front of the gate, and have him open it. Defeat the sub boss at the bridge. After defeating the sub-boss, any leftover enemies will disappear.

 

Go back to the village, and talk to the villager in front of the gate. Talk to Kotetsu near the furnace. Defeat the enemy at the excavation site, and rescue Gumark. Talk to Gumark after the battle. Talk to Kotetsu near the furnace. After the conversation, you receive an Incubator cube. Return to the patrol cruiser and follow the tutorial for the Incubator. Follow the tutorial and place a child form into the Incubator then go in there and feed it a mineral. Talk to Kotetsu near the furnace. After the conversation, you receive the Cosmo Lance.

 

Defeat the boss in the crash-landing area. After defeating the boss you gain an Evolve Mineral. Go and stand in front of the gate at the innermost part of the area. The cut-scene showing the opening of the doors is played. Move ahead into the center of the cave. During the conversation you find a memo. Go further into the cave. After the cut-scene, you obtain the glowing fossil. Go back to the village and talk to Radese. He will provide an explanation on Spectrobes and enemies' properties. During the conversation you obtain an Orange mineral.

 

Return to the patrol cruiser and follow the tutorial in the Incubator on evolving Spectrobes. Follow the tutorial and feed the Evolve Mineral to the Spectrobe to evolve it. Go back to the village and talk to Radese. You will receive coordinates to Doldogo. Go to the cockpit of the patrol cruiser, open the Planetary Navigation menu and then move on to Doldogo.

Chapter 2: Doldogo

 

After landing on Doldogo, go to Gretta's house and talk to her. Talk to the villager in the back of the village. Defeat the Krawl in front of the Tree of Life. Talk to Salia, who is standing in front of the Tree of Life. Return to Gretta's house and talk to her.

Defeat the sub-boss in Serenity Woods. After you defeat the sub-boss a cut-scene showing the water getting better is shown. Once you return to the Tree of Life, the path to the waterfall area is now open. Defeat the sub-boss at Triple Falls. After you defeat the sub-boss, a cut-scene reveals the water getting better. Once you return to the Tree of Life, the path to the swamp area is now open.

 

Search and find a flying Spectrobe (Hananomi). A Hananomi fossil can be found in areas around the Tree of Life. Return to the patrol cruiser and excavate the Hananomi (flying Spectrobe) fossil.

NOTE: You can also access the Lab Menu, where you can excavate fossils, from any save point. Awaken the Hananomi you just excavated. After awakening it, set it in your Cosmolink.

 

Go back and solve the Thunder Crag puzzle using Hananomi. With a flying Child Spectrobe, lock onto the boulder and give the Go! Command to create the bridge and move across. Defeat the sub-boss at the High Meadow. After you defeat the sub-boss, a cut-scene reveals the water getting better. Once you return to the Tree of Life, the path to the ruins is now open. Return to the front of the Tree of Life and talk to Gretta. Enter the ruins inside the Tree of Life.

 

Go further into the ancient ruin. An event showing the puzzle will play. Take a ground-based (non-flying) Spectrobe with you. Using the C Button, lock on to the hole and give the Go! command.

NOTE: A flying Spectrobe cannot enter the hole.

 

A tutorial on using child form Spectrobes is shown. A Tutorial on how to target objects is shown. You will now be in control of the child form Spectrobe. Go into the hole. Move using the analog stick. Go to the small room at the end of the hole and step on the switch there. The next scene will be shown automatically. Cut-scene showing the puzzle being solved is shown. You will now be able to go further into the ancient ruins. Go to the back room and defeat the enemy there. Then, lock on to the hole as done before and give the Go! Command.

 

Go deeper into the hole, and press the A button in front of the device connected to the cogs by the doors. Hold the A button until the doors open all the way. If you release the A button too soon, you will need to start over again. Advance further into the ruins then defeat the Krawl that appear. After defeating the Krawl in the room in the southeast corner of the ruins, objects will appear that Rallen can pick up. Face one of the objects and press the A button to pick it up. Place the object on the pedestal in front of the door by pressing the A button. Pick up the other object, and place it on the other pedestal. Once the two objects are placed on the pedestals, the doors to the Boss Room will open. Make sure to save at a save point before entering.

 

Defeat the Krawl boss in the Boss Room by avoiding toxic attacks and hitting the yellow bulb. Go to the Shard chamber in the back of the boss room and obtain the Shard. After the conversation, the scene warps to the Tree of Life.

 

Go back to the village, enter Gretta's house and talk to her. After talking to Gretta, go back to the patrol cruiser. Go to the cockpit and a cut-scene with you talking to HQ occurs. Open the Planetary Navigation menu and move to Wyterra. Return to Radese's house and talk to him about the Shard of the King. After talking to Radese you will obtain coordinates to Kogoeria. Return to the cockpit of your ship, open the Planetary Navigation menu, and move on to Kogoeria.

Chapter 3: Kogoeria

 

After landing on Kogoeria, at Kamtoga's camp, move northeast into the long snowfield. Continue north into the ice cavern. Proceed deeper into the frozen cave and battle the sub-boss. After hitting the boss so many times, you receive an axe cube from Kamtoga. After you get the weapon, an explanation of the Axe is shown. The axe is heavy, allowing you to inflict heavy damage to the Krawl. Defeat the Krawl sub-boss.

 

After the battle, return to Kamtoga's camp and talk to Kamtoga, standing outside his quarters. Once the discussion with Kamtoga has ended, head out the trail that runs alongside Kamtoga's cave through to Glacier Valley. Continue further until you fall down a crevasse. After talking to Jeena, look for the glowing fossil; reach over and touch it. Kamtoga comes to the rescue.

 

Return back to camp and talk to Kamtoga. During the conversation, you will receive the Cosmo Blaster. Kamtoga offers to give you a special item if you can prove to be a Spectrobe Master. Go to the patrol cruiser; use the lab menu to fill the Cosmolink with Spectrobes. Return to Kamtoga with the filled Cosmolink, and he will give you the Cosmokey. Afterwards, you can get legendary weapons from the stone markers you'll find around the galaxy (and behind elemental barriers).

 

NOTE: Make sure you to equip the Spectrobe that matches the elemental symbol on the marker or barrier (for example: water spectrobe for water symbol, etc.).

 

Head northeast to the long snowfield. Move towards the elemental barrier. Equip a water Spectrobe and send it towards the barrier. Once the barrier is down, move forward and press the A Button to collect the weapon. Return to Kamtoga once you a legendary weapon and he will explain how to get to the ice ruins. During the conversation you gain a lost memo.

 

Head out the trail that runs alongside Kamtoga's cave through to Glacier Valley. After entering glacier valley, go past the crevasse and right into icicle cavern. Continue through icicle cavern and onto Aurora Pass. When you arrive at the spot where the path is blocked by a boulder, equip the flying Spectrobe (Hananomi) and lock onto the area beneath the boulder. Give the Go! Command to create the bridge and move across.

 

Defeat the Krawl sub-boss at the entrance of the ice ruins. Enter the ice ruins and move straight ahead into the next room and onto the platform. Press the A button to go down.
