[spoiler=Confirmed Perks]

Martyrdom: This has been confirmed by Robert Bowling on the E3 2009. He confirmed they've been perfecting perks like the "n00bish" Martyrdom

Riot Shields: "The riot shield will be, for a 100% sure, a perk. Bowling let it slip, that you’ll be able to carry two shields with two guys, and that a third player could, while taking cover behind the two gents, open fire on the enemy. How sick is that?"

-- Power Unlimited, Dutch magazine (scans)

Akimbo: This perk will allow you to dual-wield any sidearm, including the Desert Eagle.

[spoiler=Storyline]It continues where we left off in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, with the world facing dangerous political instability in Russia. Though the revolutionary warlord Zakhaev is dead — thanks to the heroics of Cpt. Price in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare — the situation hasn't improved.

Zakhaev was the villain in the last game, so once you've killed him you've allowed his underling, Makarov, to take power. He uses the death of his formal associate as a martyr scenario to take power. His agenda is even more evil than Zakhaev's was. Makarov has secured a significant power base in Russia and is embarking on a plot to threaten global security.

This is when the international community dispatches the elite squad of Task Force 141 to stop Makarov. Part of TF141 is Cpt. 'Soap' MacTavish (CoD4:MW), now a NPC grizzled veteran helping you out on these dangerous missions.

That's all that is confirmed as of now, but if you would like more detials and information such as videos. Go to Modern Warfare 247.com
