If he's truly a good boyfriend he'll understand. My girlfriend has insane mood swings. When she's in a bad mood for a few days, she just lets me know. So I think you should just sit him down for like five minutes and just explain your bad mood to him. That way when, and if, you freak out on him, he knows not to take it too personally.
