Welcome to the character submission thread for the new fanfic "Return of the Society of Light"!

While you are here, we would like to inform you of a few things:

 

1. Unlike exowolf, creator of RotEI and co-creator of RotAM, I run a tight ship. Your character might not be what I'm looking for, and therefore might not be accepted.

I'm not trying to discourage you from submitting a character. In fact, I WANT you to make a character for me!

I just want you to do as good as a job on it as possible.

 

2. I may have to make some modifications to your character to fit him/her/it into the story.

It might be the character's deck is too cliche....

It might be the character seems a bit OPed....

It might be the character is a bit out of place....

It even might be that lugia and I just outright despise your character with every fiber of our being! (not likely, but it could happen...)

So we might have to tweak him/her/it so he/she/it can stay.

 

3. Please follow the outline!

I like people that fill out my outlines.

It gives me a warm, happy feeling inside...

No, not THAT kind of happy feeling.

But I do like the sight of an orderly character sheet.

So just fill it our correctly.

And erase the stuff on parentheses.

Please!

 

And last, but not least.

4. Please stick to the plot summary!

If your character is Sauron's drinking buddy who happens to like a children's card game, that's great!

If she's a distant relative of some character who wants nonspecific revenge, that's great too!

If it's a puppy, that's awesome! (Just keep it away from Kaiba when he smiles.)

Personal Stats: 17 years old; Female; Caucasian; New Dominoan; Blood-red hair and sky-blue eyes, and looks like what would happen if you mixed Izumi Fudo with Asuka Soryu from Evangelion; Very tomboyish and feisty, likes to duel first, ask questions later, and hates her twin sister.

Bio: The hot-headed side of the Atlas twins, Ami always charges headlong into a conflict, despite the protests of her twin sister and older brother. She used to live a sheltered life with her mother and father in Rio until Casey Trojan and Nicole Worm kidnapped her parents, sent her to an older brother she never knew existed, and found out that most of her life is a lie. She now uses the powerful new deck she has received to kick butt.

Personal Stats: 17 years old; Female; Caucasian; New Dominoan; Sky-blue hair and blood-red eyes, and looks like what would happen if you mixed Yuki Fudo with Rei Ayanami from Evangelion; Very calm and collective, yet shy, a bit nerdy, and hates her twin sister.

Bio: The level-headed side of the Atlas twins, you can find Yumi doing one of three things: reading a book, surfing the 'Net, and dueling. She used to live a sheltered life with her mother and father in Rio until Casey Trojan and Nicole Worm kidnapped her parents, sent her to an older brother she never knew existed, and found out that most of her life is a lie. Personal Stats: 22; Male; Caucasian; New Dominoan; Black hair and purple eyes, with a bit of tan, and clothed in racing gear when Turbo Dueling, and in a Hawaiian shirt ,jean-shorts, and his "b****in 'shades" when he isn't; very laid-back and relaxed, but can become composed quickly, and is the voice of reason among the trio.

Bio: Damian Atlas, Junior, was never what his parents wanted. The "black sheep" of something that was never really a family, he has no special talent other than a few tweaks in his genes to give him an edge in the Pro Turbo Dueling circuit. He was living the high life, not caring about his wacko parents, until his twin nieces showed up on his doorstep with a recording from his parents, who urged him to save them by unlocking Ami and Yumi's "true potential".

To do that, Damian might have to go back to New Domino to see Grandma and both Aunt Vickys.

He hate road trips.

Especially when almost everyone is trying to kill him.

Personal Stats: Rather tall, about 6 feet tall at that. Has black, shoulder length hair and wears a black cloak, obscuring his entire body aside from his face. His left eye is red, while the other is purple, He's old. Really old, but only looks 18 due to his inability to age. On his back, he has the mark of the Star

Bio: Used to be a student in Duel Academy, but he delved in with the same Darkness-based research that Yusuke Fujiwara did. Things went wrong. He completely diverted from the research Yusuke did and started researching another dark being known as Zorc. He dissapeared for some time along the same time Yuskue did. He reappeared 80some years ago, with a new, darker persona and overwhelming darkness based deck. He dueled his dark half after a run-in with the Orichalcos, and defeated it, expelling all the corruption in his body, although he still used the power of darkness. Time passed. People close to him died, and the events of the two Return RPs occured. After a rather long series of events, Hikari, one of his best and only friends, died. Her death saddened him, although it bestowed upon him powers greater then he ever had before. He chose to walk the earth for all eternity, as it's dark messiah...

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "United Fighting Spirit". This card is unaffected by your opponent's card effects, and cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card attacks, it gains the ATK of the opposing monster until your End Phase. This card can attack all monsters on your opponent's side of the field once each. During your Battle Phase, negate the effects of all cards your opponent controls. Personal Stats: Unknown Age, Race, or Nationality. She has a dark cloak that covers her body, but when she takes it off, she has purple and dark patches of rubbery skin, except for her face, which is pale, and has green eyes and circuitry. Her purple and black hair is long, with bangs covering her eyes, and she has a cold-hearted personality on the outside, but is very caring for her close friends. Her body is also covered in various golden markings that appear to be pieces of holy jewelry.

Bio: Gabriel won't disclose her true identity, but it is known that she is one of the few AKI Primes left after the 24-Hour War, and one of the first MAGI ever created. She fled the war to Atlanta, and, along with a young priest named Eli Cross, pacified the entire city, which was claimed by the local UNPF detachment. having lost her sense of purpose, she found God, and became his servant.

Over 25 years later, she is now the right-hand woman of Pope Resolute I, the young priest who she helped all those years ago. She has been informed that her old teammates have returned, and are reeking destruction upon the local populace. When Casey and Nicole attack Salt Lake City looking for Ami and Yumi, the Church has to get involved....

....and Gabriel enters the conflict.

Now free of the only thing that was keeping her from going berserk, she views the world as her oyster, and she can do whatever she wants. They now work for the UN, hunting down any MAGI that won't ally with their new bosses....

Bio: Hagi is very reserved. You could almost say Anti-Social. He is a good person though. Plagued by dark thoughts. Hagi is from a small town in England. He has, unlike a distant relative, no Spirits. He gets along well with people, but he cannot initate conversation most of the time. He has a cello and is good at playing it. He has dark feelings and thoughts tugging at his heart a lot, and might give in. He only talks to his superiors well.

Personal Stats: 17, Male, Mexican, Mexico, Brown Eyes, Muscular, long black hair, always wears a long black coat(think Zane's but black), Enjoys being with friends but prefers being alone, he is very apathetic towards people's feelings.

Bio: He has idolized Zane Truesdale his entire life. When he was 8 his Dad bought him his first cards, one of which was Cyber Dragon. Over the years he continued his collection of Cybers till he could build a deck. He soon became the best but was neglected by others cause he was too strong. Character Name: Katsu Hikaru

Personal Stats (Age, Gender, Race, Nationality, Physical Traits, Personality, etc. Pictures help too.): 34, Male, Japanese, Muscular body, Pale Blue eyes, kind, eerie and slightly mad.

Bio: [spoiler=Unable to keep short, so prepare yourself for a long read.]A man of his word originally, Katsu was a normal person, one of many who had fought the war against the AKIs. But one night, he suffered a terrifying dream in which he saw the World get consumed by a white light, and he could hear many screams. Next he saw random people worshipping the light for no reason, and then the world fell to the people who worshipped the light. He awoke the next morning and wrote down everything which he saw, taking it to be a message of some kind. Katsu took it to his friend and his friend told him not to worry.

 

But Katsu did worry, and so he used many methods to try and clear his head of all thoughts, even turning to a wierd cult which revolved around the spirits of cards, and tried to forget the image, which never left his head.

Then, one stormy day, a mysterious figure arrived at his home, and told him to take posession of a strange card which was completely blank. Then, before Katsu could question the card, the stranger had disappeared, leaving only a mysterious other card, which ripped in three and blew away on the wind.

 

That evening, however, he recieved a phone call informing him of his friend's mysterious death, which was put down to "Unknown Cause", but Katsu thought that the vision he had must've had something to do with it, and, sure enough, he heard a loud crash of thunder, despite the storm having cleared three hours earlier. Katsu walked outside, and as he looked in the sky to see what had made the noise, he saw the beam of white light coming down on him. He ran back inside, but as he did, the light followed him and then infiltrated his body through his mouth. Katsu felt in control of his body for only a second more before he felt lost in a white sea.

 

When Katsu woke, he was under the control of the Light of Destruction, and proclaimed he had seen the light. He then walked out of his home for the last time, his clothes now being a pure white and long coat which went down to his ankles - but was flying backwards as if it was blown by an invisible wind - and a Ritzy pair of Trousers which were pure white also. His hair had changed to a very bright blue.

 

From then on, Katsu began travelling the world looking and recruiting duelists to the re-founded Society of Light, and eventually he and the society returned to Neo Domino. They made a new base and are making their most diabolical plots yet.

Duel Disk/Duel Runner:

- Disk; A pure white one with Pale Blue Monster zones and a Purple light where the life points are calculated.

- Duel Runner; White, with Pale blue tires. his duel disk slots in and morphs to fit it. It has a sape similar to Jack Atlas' except the circle is a crescent instead.

Deck Type: Arcana Force, mostly, however it is almost anything LIGHT and requires a coin toss.
