    • Yes, but only because it's a handy tool.
    • I suck at interwebs and when I want to search for something, I verbalize it in another way than the majority.

    • I don't use it and just type what I want to search for.

If you use the Google Search bar in Firefox, it predicts what you want to type, based on what has been sought for many times, and shows the results in a drop down list.

I don't know about you guys, but I always get a warm feeling when I find out that there are countless people who have also been looking for that exact thing, and typed it exactly the way you type.

Isn't it called auto-complete? Or does it just show suggestions' date=' and doesn't complete it for you?

Auto-complete only shows 1 suggestion and is also very annoying. If you mistype 1 letter, you usually just hit backspace so that it's gone. However, with auto-complete, it just removes the suggested part, while you never called for that.

It won't auto complete porn' date=' so its completely useless.

I'm pretty sure it auto completes henta~ *checks it*

It doesn't.... o.o

That's because the person(s) who created this never thought someone would search for pr0n.

Isn't it based on the popularity of search terms?

You can spend a lifetime doing that manually...

I have Safari and get suggestions like that too. I think that's just a Google thing in general.

Typing "Why do *random race* people" and then reading the results kept me occupied for about five minutes. I was about to say that was the most enjoyment it brought me but after thinking about it it's helped me on multiple occasions when I could only recall half of a title or something.
