I heard many different things about it from friends that it's weird and gives you a good laugh, but from some, that it's not worth reading. I'm also liking the way they worked with the anime version. It's really quite decent, especially considering the failfest of anime adaptations throughout the last few years. The manga is pretty epic, though it does have its weak points. The Luxus / Laxus arc was epic. One of the best things in Fairy Tail is that everything is connected, converging from an original point with mathematical precision - there's little, if any, of the randomness you usually encounter in series like One Piece.
