This is a good idea in some ways, but it's also a bad idea in some ways. Here are some advantages:

 

- It would be easier than GFXing them, like you said

- You wouldn't have to pay Points for it in some Shops

- It would make a great addition to Cards and Card Sets

 

Now, here are some disadvantages:

 

- I agree with the people who posted before, saying that too many new Users would use these

- We would see Gold everywhere in the Custom Cards Forum

 

Those are my opinions on Gold Rares. Bottom line, it's good and it's bad, but I guess you have my support. But we don't need it, so it doesn't really matter to me if it makes the cut or not. I just want to see if this is actually going to be implemented. But I doubt it. YCMaker doesn't change much things anymore. Good luck anyway.
