Here's a new archetype based on the fairy tale 'Pinocchio'...

Please comment...

 

Puppet Master Geppetto

EARTH/Warrior/Effect

3/800/500

 

Increase the ATK and DEF of all 'Combat Puppet' monsters, 'Prototype Pinocchio' and 'Inventor Boy Pinocchio' by 300. They are also not affected by your opponent's Trap Card.

 

Prototype Pinocchio

EARTH/Machine/Effect

4/1600/1700

 

Once per turn, only if there is 'Puppet Master Geppetto' on the field, you can activate this effect. During your Battle Phase, you can select a random card in your opponent's hand. These effects are applied according to the Type of the selected card.

 

Monster: This card gains 200 ATK during damage calculation only. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent.

Spell: This monster can attack twice during the same Battle Phase.

Trap: This card can attack your opponent directly.

 

Inventor Boy Pinocchio

Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower 'Combat Puppet' monster from your Graveyard.

 

Combat Puppet-Nutcracker

EARTH/Machine/Effect

3/1200/1300

 

You can remove 1 Spell or Trap Card in your Graveyard from play to destroy 1 face-up monster on the field. This effect can only be used once per turn.

 

Combat Puppet-Rose Maiden

You can remove 1 Spell or Trap Card in your Graveyard from play to destroy up to 2 Spell or Trap Card(s) on the field. This effect can only be used once per turn.

 

Combat Puppet-Tin Man

You can remove 1 Spell or Trap Card in your Graveyard from play to add 1 Level 4 or lower 'Combat Puppet' monster from your Deck or Graveyard. This effect can only be used once per turn.

 

Combat Puppet-String Marionette Fighter

You can remove 2 Spell or Trap Card in your Graveyard from play to take control of 1 of your opponent's face-up monster until the End Phase. This effect can only be used once per turn.

 

Combat Puppet-Loyal Comrade

If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points while it is in Defense Position, it is doubled. When your opponent selects 1 of your 'Combat Puppet' monsters as an attack target, you can remove 1 Spell or Trap Card in your Graveyard from play to negate the attack. This effect can only be used once per turn.

You can remove 1 Spell or Trap Card in your Graveyard from play to draw 1 card. This effect can only be used once per turn.

 

Combat Puppet-Patriotic Commander

Combat Puppet-Battlefield Drummer + 1 or more non-Tuner 'Combat Puppet' monsters.

The ATK of this card increases by 300 for each 'Combat Puppet' monster in your Graveyard. When this card is sent to the Graveyard or removed from play, you can remove 2 Spell or Trap Card in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon it on your side of the field. Any monster that attacks this card is destroyed at the End Phase.

 

Ultimate Pinocchio

EARTH/Machine/Effect

9/3300/2800

 

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effects of 'Puppet Upgrade'. If any 'Combat Puppet' monster you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard while this card is on your side of the field, you can select 1 of the destroyed monster to be treated as an Equip Card and equip it to this card. During your Main Phase, you can send the Equip Card equipped to this card to destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the destroyed monster x 500.

Puppet Upgrade

Quick-Play Spell Card

 

You can only activate this card when 'Puppet Master Geppetto' and 'Prototype Pinocchio' is on your side of the field and you have activated 'Geppetto's Workshop'. Send 'Prototype Pinocchio' on the field to the Graveyard as a Tribute, remove 3 'Combat Puppet' monsters in your Graveyard from play, and Special Summon 'Ultimate Pinocchio' from your hand or Deck.

 

Geppetto's Workshop

Field Spell Card

 

'Puppet Master Geppetto' cannot be destroyed by battle as long as this card remains face-up on the field. When you Normal Summoned or Special Summoned a 'Combat Puppet' monster(s), place 1 'Puppet Counter(s)' on this card (max.3). During your Main Phase, you can remove any number of 'Puppet Counters' to either increase your Life Points OR inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of removed 'Puppet Counter' x 300.

 

Teen Spirit!

Normal Spell Card

 

After activation, select 1 'Prototype Pinocchio' you control. Increase the ATK and DEF of the selected monster equal to the number of 'Combat Puppet' monsters in your Graveyard x 100 until the End Phase. During the Standby Phase of your next turn, you must pay Life Points equal to that amount.

 

Parental Guidance

Normal Spell Card

 

Activate only if 'Puppet Master Geppetto' is on your side of the field. When 'Prototype Pinocchio' inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, the controller of this card can draw 1 card. This effect can only be used until the End Phase.

 

Legacy of The Puppet Master

Normal Spell Card

 

You can only activate this card when 'Puppet Master Geppetto' is in your Graveyard. You can select 1 'Inventor Boy Pinocchio' or any Warrior-type monster (if any of 'Inventor Boy Pinocchio' card is not in your Deck) from your Deck and Special Summon it on your side of the field. The card name is also treated as 'Puppet Master Geppetto' and it also gets the effect of 'Puppet Master Geppetto' as long as it remains face-up on the field (the selected monster's original effect is still applicable). After you Special Summon the selected monster, pay 1000 Life Points.

 

Puppet Power Booster

Continuous Spell Card

 

Increase the ATK and DEF of all face-up 'Combat Puppet' monsters by 200 during your Battle Phase only.

 

Gift From The Blue Fairy

Normal Spell Card

 

Tribute 1 'Prototype Pinocchio' on your side of the field and Special Summon 1 'Inventor Boy Pinocchio' from your hand or Deck.

 

No Lying!

Counter Trap Card

 

You can activate this card when 'Prototype Pinocchio' becomes an attack target. Randomly selects 1 card from your hand and declare its Type (Monster, Spell, OR Trap). If you guessed correctly, the attack is negated.

 

Decoy Puppet

Normal Trap Card

 

Select 1 'Combat Puppet' monster you control and switch the control to your opponent. The monster's effect is negated. If your opponent attacks with the selected monster, destroy it and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's ATK. If it is used as Tribute for Tribute Summon, the Tribute Summoned monster's ATK and DEF is halved. You cannot activate other card of the same name until the selected monster is removed from the field.

 

Puppet's True Loyalty

Counter Trap Card

 

You can activate this card when 1 of your 'Combat Puppet' monsters is targeted with effects that gain control of your monster. Your opponent chooses one of those effects:

  • 1 of your opponent's monsters is destroyed.
  • The targeted monster is destroyed, and your opponent receive damage to his/her Life Points equal to the destroyed monster's Level x 200.

 

Used Puppets

Normal Trap Card

 

You can add up to 2 'Combat Puppet' monsters from the Graveyard to your Deck.
