My second splice

Pokemon used:

Garchomp(base)

darkrai

comment:

Here it is... MYSECONDSPLICE-1.png

My third splice

Pokemon used

ho-oh

lugia(base)

Well here it is

lugia-1.png

My fourth splice

Pokemon used:

Marowak

Weavile(base)

What i like about this one is that i recolored Weavile's body with Marowak's colors. I could use one of Marowak's arms(the one with the bone) but i could not use the other one due to it not fitting even when i reshaped it.

Here it is

marovile.png

My fifth splice

Pokemon used:

Deoxys(base)(coloring)

magmortar(arms)

xatu(wings)

Here it is

I am not going to lie, your splices seem to have gotten progressively worse.

Your first splice is fairly decent. The only problem I had with it was that the texture wasn't consistant, but as fixing that requires a level of scratching, I ignored it.

Your second splice was bland and perhaps too dark, but it was well blended. It's the kind of splice that shows you know the basics.

Your third splice is the one that starts going downhill. During your splice you managed to remove one of lugia's feet but didn't put it back. In a situation like this you should have used the first frame sprite to splice on the missing foot, instead of just leaving a stump.

I just don't like your fourth splice. The color scheme you chose just messed with the shading perspective too much for me. Otherwise, there isn't anything wrong with it.

Your fifth splice is a perfect example of a beautiful concept that was poorly executed. The coloring on the wings and left arm doesn't match the body, and the fact that the right arm was scratched is incredibly obvious. If your going to scratch, you need to understand concepts such as shading.

Your sixth splice disappoints me. All your other splices had been fairly well blended, but in this splice it looks like you just slapped on some wings. Because of directional issues, the left wing appears in the wrong spot (behind the spikes, instead of in front like it should be).

To sum up the experience, you started as what I felt to be a new splicer with potential to be sort of a let down. Remember, the beauty of digital art is that it can always be added to, and changes and improvements can always be made. I look foward to you improving in the future.
