Chumbawamba - The Boy Bands Have Won, and All The Copyists and The Tribute Bands and The TV Talent Show Producers Have Won, If We Allow Our Culture To Be Shaped By Mimicry, Whether From Lack Of Ideas Or From Exaggerated Respect. You Should Never Try To Freeze Culture. What You Can Do Is Recycle That Culture. Take Your Older Brother’s Hand-Me-Down Jacket and Re-Style It, Re-Fashion It to the Point Where It Becomes Your Own. But Don’t Just Regurgitate Creative History, Or Hold Art And Music And Literature As Fixed, Untouchable And Kept Under Glass. The People Who Try To ‘Guard’ Any Particular Form Of Music Are, Like The Copyists And Manufactured Bands, Doing It The Worst Disservice, Because The Only Thing That You Can Do To Music That Will Damage It Is Not Change It, Not Make It Your Own. Because Then It Dies, Then It’s Over, Then It’s Done, and The Boy Bands Have Won.

Fiona Apple, eat your heart out.

These don't sound stupid, but read the notes to see why. All three were done by the same band.

Reggie and the Full Effect - Greatest Hits 1984–1987

The band was founded in 1998. This was their first album.

Reggie and the Full Effect - Promotional Copy

People sent back the CD, thinking that it really was a promotional copy.

Reggie and the Full Effect - Under the Tray

Notice a theme here? The disc was hidden at the bottom of the CD.

Public Image Limited - Album

Bah. Rotten does his part in boostin' obscure acts (though I doubt anyone would call such luminaries as Steve Vai or Ryuichi Sakamoto obscure), but other than that... basically aural filler the way Poe would do it with his poems.

Yes - Tomato

I actually like two of the tracks (On the Silent Wings of Freedom and Future Times) but for the most part, Tomato lacked the power or breadth or sophistication of their three previous albums.

Torsofuck - Erotic Diharrea Fantasy

Great album.

I wonder if any of the band members have ever actually had one of those. Ewwww....that's nasty just to think about other people visualizing that...

I'm picturing it right now. Ahhh Diharrea.

online? or did he actually went in a record store and stole it?

Online.
