Kocrow17
Here are a list of things that need to be changed in the forum and its members. These are not rules, but guidelines that you may choose to follow. 1) Respect your fellow members. Show respect, and it will be returned unto you. Especially don’t threaten to hack other members. Also remember that moderators act in the best interest of the members. 2) Do not post anything that would insult another member unjustly. I especially have no interest if a member says “YCM sucks” on an instant messenger. I do care when that conversation is posted on this site. I consider it inhumane of you to demonize another member of this site like that. 3) Open your eyes! Do instantly judge a member by the actions, but understand their actions to better understand that member. If a member has a grudge against the mods for acting against him, then that member truly does not see what they are doing to the site and/or to its members. 4) When a member spams a forum, and ends up with a large amount of negative reps, for what reason do they have to not spam again? When the problem has been fixed, please remove your negative reps from that member. It prevents spammers and multiple accounts from being born. Everyone deserves the chance to learn from their mistakes. I’m happy to answer any question you may have.

Viera~Fran
Yeah, especially when it comes to threatening to hack member's pcs. I mean, first of all, it's illegal, and second, if someone on here is spamming that probably means they're young and immature, so they're probably using a computer that is owned by their parents who spend money getting internet access. Hacking onto a computer is just plain low and unnecessary. Did I mention it's illegel?
Instinct
good idea! i always thought that multiple ppl shouldn't neg rep someone who's made a mistake only once if someone's negged them already there's no point in someone else neg repping since they might've gotten the point already

I was trying to help him and he just said things like "IDK IF I GET BANNED!" so I was like, whatever.

Everyone deserves the chance to learn from their mistakes. [/quote'] I disagree with this one. If someone acts like an idiot and deserve it, they shouldnt have to remove it. Everyone deserves a chance to a degree. If I neg rep someone, I have reason and will not remove it after the problem is fixed. Neg reps are there for a reason, and if everyone removed them constantly it would be pointless. The reps should stick, I feel that's the only way they will ever learn. You can't just let them get away with it if they've done something that really deserves a neg. Because if the reps are all getting removed what have they learned? If they decide to spam because of neg reps they will be dealt with accordingly. Sometimes people can get carried away, but some offenses deserve more. Instinct
good idea but if someone's like a new member most older users usually neg rep them when they made an accidental mistake and those new members usually become successful. i think those kind of negs should be removed but i get what your saying. some members might not learn and those neg reps should stay. It depends on the mistake also. You cant accidentaly post porn, or accidentally swear at someone. I personally only give neg reps when people really deserve it, like when someones constantly being an idiot. And like, if new members start thinking they can get away with stuff like this just by saying sorry, they wont develop into good members at all. Kocrow17
I agree that negative reps should stay, but only to a certain extent. Having -10 reps for the same reason is harsh and is what turns people to continue spamming. Either that, or they will understand their mistakes but fear being judged by their negative reps and so make another account.
Instinct
yes, i meant like accidently posting more than once or accidently posting the same topics or posting in the wrong section, etc. that kind of stuff
Kocrow17
I understand what you guys are trying to say. There are those who deserve this second chance since their mistakes were not intentional and that there are hopeless cases where they would not take the second chance if given to them and continue to spam the forum. Jerry OldMaster
Personally I neg rep people when I see they do something wrong, or simply show highly disrespect to me. I remove those reps easily, but only if the member apologies/shows he is not a n00b and people misunderstood him.If I see someone posting cards in "general", I politely give him a chance, maybe even say something about the cards, and send him to the right section. If someone posts cards in other people's threads, and even more then once, I get murder tendencies. Also, my computer can be really-really bad. 80% of te time he doesn't allow me to click on links that should pop up something. Therefore, no repping. Kizzi
I personally hate it when n00bs post messages like "hi", "r u okay" and "u think my cards good?" (the last one in other peoples threads). But I do believe people deserve a chance if they are new.

Silencerleader
Not bad, only that a few people will ever follow these rules...oh I see a prophecy...spammers, noobs, AHHH. But I digress, not everyone is going to see this, and if ever, I doubt that someone will follow them because truth is we are not machines, but humans, and we humans are critical, illusionists, and sentimental. So good luck to anyone following these rules due to the fact that someone sooner or later will break them. Good job Kaze, the "testament" is ok. Kocrow17
Oh, without a doubt someone is going to break these guidelines. Like you said, people aren't perfect, and I can understand that. I know everyone's not going to see my testament. But it will HOPEFULLY help those that do.
