Minus 1/8 of your LP minus 1 card from your hand =/= Free look at your opponents hand and your choice of a discard from their hand.

It's like going to a candy shop with 8 pennies and a piece of paper and the owner has 5 suckers in his hand but you dont know what flavor they are because he's covering them up.

You throw the piece of paper and 1 of the pennies away and look at the flavors of the suckers and throw away his favorite. Note, these are like 4 dollar suckers. =p

personally' date=' i think it should not be banned, for 1000 life points is perfetly fine of a price to pay for a discard

[/quote']

IMO' date=' it should be at 1, because making your opponent discard is powerfull, but the cost is fine, so 1 is where I would have placed it.

LMAO. Should be Limited.

The only reason Trap Dustshoot is limited and not banned is because 1) They have to have atleast 4 cards in their hand, 2) It only targets MONSTERS so if they have none... yeah, 3) IT SENDS IT TO THE DECK. That is a very important step. Because NONE of those are met by this card, it's banned. OH and the fact that it can be played instantly.

Except for the fact that Trap Dustshoot is actually fair when Confiscation isn't... yeah, that's just Konami

It isn't fair thought because starting out with this at the start of the match gives you a huge advantage over your opponent because you know their hand and make them loss the most helpful card in their hand.

On Topic:

@Cyber-Valley™, Kuroda Naoki, and Cypress

lol, no

Don't forget that you get to choose which card to dump' date=' and you get a free look at your opponent's hand.

What about the fact that the Opponent might have all the wrong cards in his/her hand?

You pretty much wasted 1000.

I love how DAZ actually considers "it sends it to the deck instead of discarding it" to be a weakness.

Next you'll be saying that Raigeki should be unbanned because the opponent might not have any good monsters out anyhow.

"Might" was the keyword here.

And still, its an easily usable 1-for-1 that discards from the hand.

so you think THE FORCEFUL SENTRY is unrightly banned

sending back to the deck is worse than discarding btw because its much easier to retrive a card from the graveyard than it is the deck and you just decrease your chances of drawing an important card. and most importantly you lose a card

Pay 1000 Life Points to see their hand and discard a card from their hand. Activate Mind Crush on another card. It's basically Delinquent Duo except you get to choose the cards.

true plus it can be worse if you have three of the same card in your hand.

I dont see this card having a huge impact on the meta if unbanned' date=' but it should still be banned for reasons which have been explained countless times.

[/quote']

meta shouldnt affect the banlist[/align]
