Dismal Euphony
There's a ton of tablature editing/creating programs out there. Powertab, Guitar Pro, TablEdit, etc. I'm just curious to see which program some fellow guitarists and bassists prefer. Personally, I prefer Powertab. The interface is so user-friendly which makes it easy to use. It's free. I love how simple and clear the tabs look when you print them out. Guitar Pro for me is too complicated. The interface is jumbled and packed with features which makes it difficult to use. Though, it does have a drum feature, which is nice. I enjoy being able to write drum tracks for my music. I usually end up importing my completed songs from Powertab into Guitar Pro to add drums. So yeah... Which one(s) do you prefer?
The7thSorrow
Tux guitar. Basically a free version of Guitar Pro, only it doesn't suck. I don't know if Guitar Pro has this but when you open the song in Tux Guitar it shows you tabs for all instruments. I didn't see it on your list, look it up maybe you'll like it more then whatever you use.

The7thSorrow
Really? Tux guitar is the best, I get all my bass tabs from it. Well, I guess thats just personal preference.
ironmanben
I just use ultimate guitar.com and figure out whatever else I need by listening to the song.

Dismal Euphony
I don't use any of them. I prefer to do things myself. You don't even use them to tab songs that you've written? That's basically all I use them for anymore... It makes it so much easier for band rehearsal. I can just print out the tabs and take them with me. Tkill93
I used to use Powertab, but once I got the hang of Guitar Pro I found it a lot better.

Poc
I write my music in guitar pro, I find it easier and faster than any other tabbing program.
Prada
I usually handwrite all my stuff, I used to use Powertab on my old computer. I really don't bother using anything else, unless I'm seriously annoyed with the program. Currently, I just handwrite. [:
