[DISC] Dark Flare Knight

I find this card absolutely pointless. Requires Flame Swordsmen(a waste of poly) and Dark Magician. This card has only 2200 atk points while DM has 2500. It's only use is getting out Mirage Knight which as far as I'm concerned no one uses.

Mirage Knight is exactly the reason of this card.

Actually, Flame Swordsman can be summoned with Instant Fusion, so it is easier to summon this guy. At least Mirage Knight can be kept on the field with Imperial Iron Wall.

This card is needed in a deck based on Mirage Knight. Other that that, this card has little purpose.

You could always fuse Dark Magician with a Fusion substitute card (King of the Swamp, Hex-Sealed Fusions, etc), rather than Flame Swordsman. And of course, the main point is for Mirage Knight, which you can preserve using cards like Imperial Iron Wall so its RFG downside doesn't kick in.

As for what the purpose of the card was when it came out in DCR, prior to fusion substitute, we may never know.

......I just noticed this. This card's armor is similar to that of Soldato-J's.

And the armor bieng red just makes this more awesome

*goes off to make a deck with this card*

Activate Instant fusion. Summon Flame Swordsman. Normal Summon The Hex-Sealed Dark. Activate it's effect and you have this card. Place it in defense position so your opponent can destroy it easily by battle.

^Probobly the easiest way to use this card^

And it only uses 2 cards XD

If you are retarded enough to use this card you're even more retarded if you actually use Flame Swordsman for the Fusion.

Appearently people run Poly in 3s [/sarcasm]

Fun-Fact: This card's effect' date=' on Reshef of Destruction, was awesomesauce.

[/quote']

so was any ritual monster though. DIVINE FTW!

You still had to Release monsters to summon them.

(except for Relinquished)

Plus, there was the godly awesome Restrict. it steals a monster, and powers it up by 1000. No draw-back, what so ever.

And Dark Flare Knight was awesome.

You discard it, it "creates" a Mirage Knight.

Mirage Knight, at the end of the turn disappears and 'creates' the fusion material monsters that was used for Dark Flare Knight.

Epic.

Must be killed by battle. FFFFFFFFFU-

Of course it takes terrible materials wich also sucks. So it just sucks in general

Hi. You must have not read the card effect beyond the material.

Any damage to the controller of this card from battle involving this monster becomes 0. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard as a result of a battle' date=' Special Summon 1 "Mirage Knight" from your hand or Deck.[/quote']

The point is to ram this into your opponent's monster. Also, we've already went over how easy it is to get this out.

And since most monsters out there have more than 2200, it's pretty easy.

This card is so manly, he deliberatly lets himself die, only to come back as a more powerful awesome card.

You can't say this card is "Pointless" !

you can make a whole deck around it' date='

summoning him is easy, mentioned above.

INSTANT FUSION NOODLE FTW!
