BulletMan
Well, Ive been testing Skill Town, and it needs to be played conservatively. If you do that, while countering your opponent moves, it's a GARANTEED win. :) Though you look more like the guy who would use Village. Ive also tested Skill Town against Chaos. Chaos will make it rough, but Skill Town can still surpass if played right. And you knew I would say this.

.:JBM:.
If you want to win, then build something that's meta or close to meta instead of wasting money on decks that will never win.

How is using an obscure deck MORE closed-minded than the meta? That doesn't make much sense.
C.F.Yuji
People should be more original in choosing their decks if you ask me, If you choose the Meta these days just cause it can win, you have no creativity/originality :P, But that' just my two cents... I currently use Aliens (Aggro w/ a touch of mind control), Koa'ki Meiru, and will soon use Morphtronics (a mix of the main strategies, but mostly OTK).I like to stick to archetypes for my deck types. If netdecking stopped being so overused, we might have had a more varied meta by now, but people just want to be unoriginal and copy the winning decks, even if they have no idea how to play them. C.F.Yuji
lol, I mainly have many decks, well, not many, 3 other decks aside from my Psychic Deck and my incomplete Charmer deck :P. .:JBM:.
These are well thought out posts, and I agree that building decks of your own creation is better than using meta, but I like to play a lot of meta variants, so that I win low-level tourneys, and figure out how to strengthen the strategy.
