Define "standard."

 

You could mean the standard one would need to clear to make a good show, in which case either could do.

You could mean the standard from which a show is considered good, in which case neither would do.

You could mean the template from which shonen series are usually generated, in which case it's a tough question. There are segments on both sides, of course, so in the end, one might say that there is no one standard in this sense of the word.

You could mean the gold standard, in which case you're on some terrifyingly potent psychotropic substance.
