The Ultimate Vanilla

There are only 4 vanilla monsters on the Limited list, and those aren't really good. So why not add something to that list worth having in your Deck.

Meet:

ROGUSZ, THE LIGHTSWORN-EATING PLANT (Dark)

******** ( LV 8 )

Mutated plant, grown in the Dark Garden. Angry at the Lightsworns that enveloped it's home in the Light, now roams the world in search of vengeance.

ATK/3400 DEF/1200

Allure food, Trade-In food, Solar Recharge food...

Can be searched by Lonefire Blossom, Summoner's Art...

Can be Special Summoned by Birthright, Swing of Memories...

The ULTIMATE VANILLA!!!

The strongest vanilla in the game is, and always has been, the Blue Eyes White Dragon. The odds of any vanilla being created that has more than 3000 ATK is extremely unlikely. No vanilla has ever exceeded (or even tied) the Blue Eyes. Adding a whole bunch of ways it can be abused has no point, except to TRY to put it on the limited list.

In my opinion, no vanilla monster should have to be put on the limited list (least of all created to be on it). The Exodia limbs only are because they're part of a 5 card instant win that exists in the hand, but they barely count as vanilla monsters because they exist for the sole purpose of the Exodia set.

They call it the Rule of 3000. Only Super Conductor Tyranno has crossed it, and it never sees play. This thing, well... powerful as it is, a vanilla monster this big is still only a ringer if your opponent doesn't unleash one of the many destruction cards. That, and a name about as subtle as "GB Hunter", means I give this a 5/10.

Monsters shouldn't go over 3000 without a drawback or something, definitely not while they have Vanilla support. :s

BEWD was made to be the strongest, Konami would never let a vanilla like this exist, I think. Not to mention, this just looks like its only designed to be abusable, which I am a bit against xD.

Anti-LS yaay. I dunno if this could hurt LS or not i doubt it though' date=' still i like the idea.

*Yoda* ..Figure how the hell do you? A name does not an effect make.*

You can't make cards with the intention of it being limited' date=' it just doesn't work that way. BE's is the strongest Vanilla and only n00bs make stronger ones. In fact, only n00bs make Vanillas period .

Vanillas are fine with the support they have, but this thing... just no.

Non-Normal Monsters with >=3500 ATK are tricky to get on the field, all requiring specific things or conditions. A Normal Monster with 4000 ATK only requires Tributing 2 monsters. Not at all fair. Anyways, the 3000 ATK limit for Vanillas is traditional. Nobody can replace BEWD as the most powerful Normal Monster. That's the theme of Blue-Eyes, it represents raw power.

GraveHorizon: Proof that even n00bs get it here.

LOOOOOL!

Just look at the vanilla support. Do you see any good cards! NO!

I wanted to make something that could give the vanillas the edge. You don't have to flame me for doing so...

Some cards are made to be banned! Please take a good long look at Big Daddy Darth (DAD).

OK, maybe 4000 is too much but it has to be more than 3000!

Swing of Memories, Birthright, Non-Spellcasting Area. Good cards.

You made a monster that breaks the rules with a ridiculous intent. making cards with the intent of limiting them defeats the purpose of making good cards. The Rule of 3000 exists for a reason; and while I agree that bending rules is necessary, what you did is a full on compound fracture. DAD wasn't made for banning; it took a full year to get limited, and Japan never wanted it to be this strong. The TCG abused it for versatility and effects, not brute strength.

My bottom line: DARK is overdone, putting a card into multiple support categories is a bad idea, making cards with such overt names is a shaky move at best, and making a card specifically for limiting is counter-intuitive and defies common sense. 3500 would have sufficed; no need to make it Kami-sama.
