I'm not being modest. My spriting I sometimes don't consider that much above average, normally I'd rate myself lower too. I compare myself to the best of the best, of which I'm not at yet. I also compare myself to professional level sprites made by companies. So really 3.5/5 doesn't even sound that modest to me. I still have much more quality to somehow improve. Improved anatomy could probably help. Shading I fear still has some issue that I'm unsure has to be fixed.

As for Fakemon taking 3 hours, that sounds about right. Some of my Fakemon took that long, and honestly some I had wish I had taken longer to do. Scratch spriting isn't easy, and even though the images are small for a sprite, all the time is needed to make it look good. To get a Fakemon done in less than half an hour would probably mean someone rushed and it won't turn out great, or the person doing it is very skilled.

Well first problem I have is a personal pet-peeve of mine. The boarders aren't recolored. The tip of the tail still has that lighter blue color, the yellows parts still have a gray border. The pink jewl also suffers from the gray bordering. Then also on the main body I see you tried to use that orange color, but I see a few places that still use light blue. You also have a good chunk of secondary add on colors. You have the orange, you have the green, and even have a pink. I'd suggest just using one of them. Then as far as a splice goes, a bit boring. Only one added on material, being from Arceus.
