Look at this weeks chapter for both of them, nothing really happened in either. If you look at how much has happened of the last 20 chapters though Naruto was still fighting Pain while in Bleach they were still in Ichigo's fight against Ulquiorra. If you look at how much events have passed since I think Bleach has moved further in it's story. Both stories are nearing the end. The only thing is Naruto can stretch it's story out more. We've gotten Naruto vs. Pain, the Kage Summit, Sai's Crowning Moment of Awesome, Hawk vs. Raikage, and Tobi's chat with Naruto, Kakashi, and Yamato. Bleach on the other hand has just been nothing but fights consisting of the good buys making absurd asspulls and Barragan being an atrociously arrogant jerkass that totally got what he deserved. And yea Bleach has had a lot of fighting, but that is what it does. If anything the last chapter would have been good since it gave back story. Plus the fighting is key to the plot since the more Espada that are killed the closer the story comes to ending and if you look at how much has happened in the fights it's clear to see that Bleach has also come a long way in the past 5 months. While I must say that Naruto is going much faster than Bleach, in a fight, Ichigo would win hands down. Personally, I prefer Bleach over several reasons. However, it has been getting slow. But if you're saying who's stronger, than Bleach > Naruto. The fact that most characters in Bleach are Shinigami(Death gods for the idiots who don't know). What were most of the characters in Naruto again, uh, humans? See where I'm going here. Though seriously, as Flame Dragon said, One Piece is sorta coming on up top. The characters have more to them and it makes more sense in respect to a believable alternate reality. They're both goodish but Naruto pushes all the quality buttons that Bleach falls at.
