I can't vote because I'm indifferent to Arceus' date=' and saying yes would involve using the word "win" while no would involve saying the word "gay", among showing approval of four random pokes(only magikarp and cyndaquil being the cool ones).

 

And how can a Typhlosion beat Arceus? Maybe a Focus Sashed Reversal Typhlosion on the Extreme Killer Arceus, but I'm not even sure about that.

I don't recall Arceus having this ability

 

I guess he gave Arceus "godly" powers as Arceus is portrayed as a God.

My arceus before the battle

Arceus is given an Aqua plate (or whatever the plates are that are water)

Typhloision uses Fire Blast Not very effective.......

Arceus uses Judgement and easily faints your typhloision

and even without the aqua plate.

Arceus is EPIC god of pokemon

and in your PM Darkrai doesn't suck either

Also, Arceus, you claimed you got in it a trade. Unless it's Japanese, or this person is a freak, they hacked to get it.

Actually, Arceus can do a NUMBER against his opponents (albeit Giratina) using a mere Silk Scarf, STAB Extremespeed and maybe a Swords Dance under his belt, which is not hard to acheive.

 

Japanese Arceus are legit. Hacked Arceus are "semi-legit" as long as movesets, IVs, EVs and combinations of these three are also legit.

Eh, I thought a SE 200 Base Attack would be enough to do him in, at the least he would do a good amount on Arceus. At any rate Arceus is better. He's arguably one of the best among the ubers, whereas Typhlosion is UU or something like that.

You'd be quite amazed at the amount of effort it takes to get good at this video game.

 

A damage calculator I rely on wasn't working one day, so I did the damage calcs myself. Only 5 of them, but that's some pretty (somewhat) advanced math.

So true. It works I tell ya', it will pwn anything that isn't Ghost, Rock, or Steel.

But I like Darkrai better. Awesome speed + High Special Attack + Dark Void + Dream Eater + Spatial Rend* + Roar Of Time* = Ultimate Pwnage.

*Assuming you got Darkrai via movie.

 

But what I like? Celebi. Always and forever.

Dream Eater and RoT are both horrible moves. You forgot about Dark Pulse. :/

And Nasty Plot.

And Focus Blast.

 

Also, you can take care of the Ghost problems with Shadow Claw, Steel ptoblems with Fire Blast, and there is no Rock-type Uber.

Nasty Plot and Dark Pulse I agree are good moves.

But then again, what do I know? I'm just an average player. However RoT has proved ok to me and for the time I had and used Darkrai, Dream Eater worked fabulous with Dark Void. My Darkrai had Dark Void, Psychic, Dream Eater, and either Shadow Ball or Dark Pulse.

Not bad I think.

Wrong. Arceus doesn't need his Plates. If anything, he can be better without them. A sole Fighting weakness, base 120 stats all round and the 3rd largest movepool in the game. He can be a duplicate or counter for pretty much any Pokemon in the game. As a sweeper, he has the bulk a lot of them wish they had and as a defensive Pokemon, he has the power to do something back to whatever he is defending against which is something many walls wish they could do.

EQ over Fire Blast? There becomes a problem with Pokemon like Skarm and Forretress who rarely (but sometimes) come to Uber. Fire Blast can also get you some protection against Metagross, who has a weaker SpD than DEF.

 

I can see how Earthquake would work, but the only real targets are Dialga and Metagross. Everything else can be dealed with ESpeed and Shadow Claw.

 

Lugia and Giratina can wall Arceus, but not if it gets 2 SD's in. I'm pretty sure a +4 SE Shadow Claw coming from a Base 120 ATK will take a HUGE chunk (if not OHKO) out of Lugia and Giratina.

That's partially true.

 

I don't like to think of a Pokemon with hacked EVs, IVs, and movesets (as long as they are legitimate and the combinations are legit) as hacked, because when it comes down to battle, it would perform the same as a legit Pokemon with those same stats and moves.

 

It comes down to a debate about the effort put into raising a Pokemon.
