Azmodius
Just listened to their newest album, and I can't wait till the new album in October. Discuss.
Dismal Euphony
Gorgoroth is awesome. Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam was a great album, but Pentagram will always be their best as well as one of the best albums in all of black metal. Azmodius
Agreed. Back when they still had Ghaal. Oh, and I found a really cool documentary on him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4U33U_UyzQ Watch.

Willieh
Gorgoroth is okay. Very good as far as black metal goes. Not really into the vocals though. Sounds a little too much like "Argh I'm evil!" But then again, I guess that's what they should be aiming for.

Let's face it, no one truly worships Satan. The very concept of Satan is evil: for Satan to exist, that means that he must be the opposite of the "good" force that would therefore exist. By the very definition of such a being, you would immediately find it best to worship God, and therefore not Satan. If Satan was actually the "better" of the two (whatever the hell that is supposed to mean.) then that simply means that everyone had everything mixed up, but what you're worshiping is actually God. And rebellion for rebellion's sake is just annoying.
HORUS
I like Gorgoroth but the production is not very good. If Gorgoroth was recorded the same as Immortal, I would listen to them more.

Though, some albums are so badly produced that it just makes it hard to listen to...

I find that with most black metal, the production is so bad I just can't listen to it, no matter how much I like it. For example, Gorgoroth's Antichrist EP had some really good songs but the quality was just so terrible I was wincing half the time.

They take themselves a little too seriously sometimes. Check out bands like Peste Noire, Mortifera, Fen, and Gris. They have rougher production, but it works for their music. It actually kind of adds to the sound.

Haha, theistic Satanism is a funking joke. Even LeVey's church brings in religious elements that defeat the purpose of the "rejection of God" that Satanism is all about. Namely: it's illogical. (If you haven't noticed, I hate hypocrisy.)
