man i saw a movie about the life of the metalheads called metal a headbanger's journey and the singer of gorgoroth say

my god is satan and he brings freedom

f***ing awesome

To be honest, that type of sheet pisses me off.

Let's face it, no one truly worships Satan. The very concept of Satan is evil: for Satan to exist, that means that he must be the opposite of the "good" force that would therefore exist. By the very definition of such a being, you would immediately find it best to worship God, and therefore not Satan.

If Satan was actually the "better" of the two (whatever the hell that is supposed to mean.) then that simply means that everyone had everything mixed up, but what you're worshiping is actually God.

And rebellion for rebellion's sake is just annoying.

I like Gorgoroth but the production is not very good. If Gorgoroth was recorded the same as Immortal' date=' I would listen to them more.

[/quote']

Production doesn't matter as long as the music is good, IMO.

Though, some albums are so badly produced that it just makes it hard to listen to...

I find that with most black metal, the production is so bad I just can't listen to it, no matter how much I like it. For example, Gorgoroth's Antichrist EP had some really good songs but the quality was just so terrible I was wincing half the time.

Gorgoroth isn't one of the best examples... They take themselves a little too seriously sometimes. Check out bands like Peste Noire, Mortifera, Fen, and Gris. They have rougher production, but it works for their music. It actually kind of adds to the sound.

Dark Funeral > Gorgoroth

Just my two cents.

Me > Black Horizons > Dark Funeral > Gorgoroth > Miley Cyrus > You.

Just my two cents. ;)

You slippery bastard. You got me there.

Mars: 1

Me: ?

Me: 1 You: 1

For having Svartsot in your signature.

You got an ear for music. Good man. Likewise to your band. Although haven't listened to them alot. Good band nonetheless.

Funny thing is that Satanism isn't even about worshipping anyone.

The only people who worship Satan are Theistic Satanists and the so-called Rebel Satanists. Like Gorgoroth.;)

Decent band though but there's better Black Metal out there.

For some reason I love Incipit Satan.:)

Let's see what the new album will bring though.

Hopefully it will bring the same joy their last album brought. I enjoyed their latest album.

Haha, theistic Satanism is a funking joke. Even LeVey's church brings in religious elements that defeat the purpose of the "rejection of God" that Satanism is all about. Namely: it's illogical. (If you haven't noticed, I hate hypocrisy.)
