OMGAKITTY
I'm fine with product placement when it doesn't detract from the movie. At times, it can even enhance the movie by giving it a level of realism (characters use real products, instead of generic brands), a prime example of this is I am Sam. However, I do have an issue when the advertising runs rampant, and scenes are added in just for the sake of getting the product some screen time. Like in Transformers. Not many shows are aired the moment they're created. At least, not in Canada.
