Rorschach twitched as Katy approached him, but seemed to emit a similar feeling of contentment upon being 'stroked', though no physical form could still be seen. Katy's hand experienced a slight buzzing sensation and warmth, but otherwise seemed to be completely unaffected by the higher-plane being.

Seinhem grinned a little, then glanced at Rjoury, eyebrow twitching. He didn't respond to the first question, his face unchanged, but smiled a bit at the second. "Yes. Psychic by-product... you see, talented Psychics that lack training constantly emit strong waves from their minds. Apparently, if enough of these unique brain waves meet in a node, much the same as a patchwork quilt made from scraps of cloth from other blankets, an ESLF will be formed. Theoretically, anyway. Rorschach is the only known and confirmed ESLF."

Seinhem chuckled a little. "I wouldn't worry, James. Rorschach is usually quite placid."

Most of the time, Wayne had been staring at the light above the group. He looked down only once, when Rorschach showed himself. Wayne, apparently dazed though sight from staring at the light too long, swayed his head for a while, and blurted out, "Well, why don't we go start, the tension in here is lowering at an unexceptional rate, and I bet we're all anxious to start this training." He glanced at everyone, making sure they agreed.

The secretary bit her lip and ran a hand through her hair. "The Doctor's already started speaking." She said tartly, then pointed towards a room in the back with a well-manicured finger. "I suppose you could still find him there..." She muttered, leaning against one of her arms, waving Zarkus and Zenon past.

The Doctor paused a minute, then broke into a broad smile. "What a pleasant idea, Wayne. If nobody has any objections, I'd like us to start immediately..."

He said getting up.

Markus moved awkwardly, having stayed out of the arguments. His mind was willed with all sorts of knowledge the doctor was trying to push onto him... he thought he was going to get counseling to make it GO AWAY, not keep it with him...

He sighed, and while figuring that staying with the doctor was his best bet, figured he didn't need to trust him. He bored his eyes deep into the backside of the black-haired Doctor's head as he ascended a staircase in the back of the room, leaning up to a second floor. Markus was momentarily shocked, not realizing the office was big enough to be two-storied.

Zenon briskly walked over to the door, knocked, and then opened it to see a room full of people, with a man standing in the middle.

"Heh, um, sorry I'm late, I kinda overslept... Do you still need me for something or what?"

He walked into the room, and could feel that all the others in the room had the same abilities as he did.

"What's going on here?" Zenon thought.

David stood up and followed after Seinhem, remaining silent and all but ignoring the hyperactive nonsense the seemingly youngest member of the group was spouting. He was pleased that it sounded like they were going to get started soon, because he had started to grow bored with sitting in the room listening to everyone else bombard a single person with questions.

OOC: Sorry for the delay, and my late timing. lost internet for a while. Anywho, I noticed an error in your part, Blaze. but i've decided to role with it.

Akashic listened to the old mans tale, and then to his explaination of the shimmering creature before him. It all seemed pretty far-fetched, and he was about to interupt when he noticed something. Something that froze him in place, and took his attention compleatly away from anything else in the room including the 2 late arrivals. The doctor had called him something. Zachary... was that, his name? It sounded right but... No matter how hard he tried he could not remember. He simply stood there, dumbstruck as the old man handed back the book and turned to walk away.

He stared at the book in his hand, the black cover a stange mix of glossy and faded. Information based? What did that mean? Could that have been what happened in San Fran? He became so lost in thought, he was almost left behind. "Huh? Hey, hold up Seinhem! (sigh) Looks like I have no choice in the matter." He grabbed his things and caught up to the group, keeping his eyes on the doctor the whole time. "Oh, and just for the record, It's Akashic now." As they emerged on the second floor, he quickly stood next to Marcus and Heikichi as they all awaited the doctors instructions.

(OOC; Eh? What error?)

Seinhem chuckled. "Very well. Akashic then." He glanced over at Zenon and Zarkus. "Ah, you two. Yes, I've been expecting you. Please, follow me." He said casually, entering the second floor of his psychiatrist office.

The second floor of the office was vastly different from the widely different first floor. The blank walls and mellow carpets gave way to white walls covered in several odd, old-looking pieces of equipment. A lie-detector was seen, shoved into one corner, as other pieces of elaborate machinery encroached on its position. The entire place looked fairly cluttered and disorganized.

Seinhem glanced around, and ignoring all the machines, made his way to a door on the east wall, his shoes clacking against the solid, cheap-looking floors.

Heikichi entered the very messy laboratory. As Heikichi walked, he tripped over a broken microscope and fell face first on the floor. He whimpered slightly as he got up.

"Ow...This place is messier than my Oji-san's office!"

Heikichi looked around and look a good look at the lab. It contained all sorts of assorted gadgets and knick-knacks. Heikichi spied a very complex molecule model on a desk nearby. He sauntered to it and picked it up.

"Whoa! This thing is cool!"

Seinhem chuckled. "My apologies for the mess. I've never had anyone else but me up here, and I've been a little busy recently, so I couldn't clean." He said casually, his hands fiddling about. He took a key from his pocket and quickly unlocked the small door before him with a 'click'. He opened the door, which revealed a cozy-seeming little room with a lamp gently illuminating it. A soft brown color was painted on the walls, in stark contrast to the whiteness of the rest of the wall outside, and a rather large and comfortable-looking couch was the centerpiece of attention. A balding man, looking in his forties laid on the couch, apparently sleeping. His head was bald and somewhat shiny, with a fringe of white hair along the back and sides, with a small goatee. He wore worn-looking jeans and an inexpensive looking-green jacket with a plain white shirt; His face was covered in worry lines, and he seemed to either be a very high-strung unemployed man, or a very frugal lawyer.

Seinhem picked a clipboard off the table. "This is Mr. Stephen Jackson." He said, writing a short note on the board with a pen from his pocket.

Akashic looked around at the cluttered office. He heard a thump to his right, only to find Heikichi lying on the floor whimpering. He laughed a little at the young boy's clumsyness. "you realy should watch where your going." he picked up the broken microscope of the floor and read the date on it. "1987? Jeez, It's like a medical scrap yard in here." He looked over at the rest of the machines. "Actually, I'm not even sure if this stuff even is medical." He followed the doctor over to where the door was. As he looked into the room his attention was drawn to the man residing within. "You keep a sleeping bald man locked up in an office? Either your the strangest person I've ever met, or there's more to this than there appears." Akashic looked at both elderly men and thought about what he had just said. "... or both. that's also an option."

I regarded Rorschach with a look of wonder, until deciding to step back and await the conversation's flow.

Really, I just stopped listening after a while. Everyone had their own business with the Doctor, and I'm sure it was all more important and interesting than "I was curious about the Doctor and what he could do for me".

Suddenly, everyone started walking around the halls. I followed along, looking for Rorschach again, but couldn't see him this time. When we got into the mess of an office, and then into the next room, the old man in the couch took me by surprise.

"Oh, my..." I looked at Stephen Jackson, waved, and smiled.

The labratory looked like a dump. James had to watch his step to avoid falling over. Heikichi tripped over a broken microscope and landed on the floor with a *THWUMP* James just barely held back a laugh. The doctor opened a door to another room and an old man maybe in his forties laid on the couch, James thought he was sleeping. His head was bald on top with a fringe of white hair along the back and sides, he also had a small goatee. He wore worn-looking jeans and an green jacket with a plain white shirt under it. Looks like a lawyer James thought.

"This is Mr. Stephen Jackson." The doctor said. James had so many questions to ask. Is he and ESPer too? Does he work with the military? Is he going to help train us? But most importantly can I trust him? James stayed silent however, waiting to hear what the doctor had to say next.

David followed the others in silence, only casting the messy office a quick look over. How shocking could it be to see a messy office? Sheesh, half the group either seemed awed by the scale of disorganization, or extremely curious about what the room contained.

However, even he was puzzled by the presence of the man in the next room. Seinhem had had the door locked. Was that for privacy or to keep the man there? He did not linger with these questions and leaned his back against the wall with a distinctly aloof expression. No doubt the rest of the group would start obsessing over details of potentially irrelevent things. His thoughts surprised him. Since when had he been impatient or easily irked?

I walked into the smaller room and suddenly felt relaxed and calm, especially with a lamp instead of some sort of overhead light. I glanced towards the person laying on the couch and noticed that he looked stressed. "......cozy, relaxing, interesting...." I studied the brown walls and saw that the paint had been peeling slightly, he should fix this, it's pretty noticable. I closed my eyes and saw the big crimson bear again, . The image of me appeared again and shook his head as to say yes, I understand. , the figure of me hesitated and eventually agreed. I opened my eyes and apparently only a few seconds had passed again, I went over and sat right in front of the lamp. As soon as I sat a warming sensation was felt all over my body.

Seinhem walked over to the side of Stephen's bed and put a palm on his forehead, retracting it after a couple moments. He muttered and made another note. "Stephen here is a long-standing patient of mine. He suffers from chronic headaches, originating from his tendency to give into stress often. He has a very high blood pressure, and his heart isn't fairing too well either." He muttered, as he continued writing.

"Nobody seemed able to do anything, so I tentatively offered him the option of taking part in a very experimental, very new procedure. A procedure never before ventured with any degree of competency, due to lack of those with the proper skills for it."

He gave a small smile. "This, is your training."

Heikichi peered at the man in the small room.

"So Jackson-san needs our help? I learned a few things from my doctor! I can try some of what he does!"

Heikichi went through his pockets and pulled out a pencil.

"Now open your mouth and say 'ahhh'" Heikichi said while holding the back of the pencil to Stephen's mouth.

David fought the urge to roll his eyes. "Hey kid," he said to Heikichi, careful not to sound like a jerk while doing so. "If ACTUAL doctors couldn't do anything, why would you be able to by doing the exact same things as regular doctors, but without the years of medical school and experience? And you're using a pencil, not a tongue depressor. How about you just wait until this guy," David gestured to Seinhem, "tells us what he's talking about?"

"So, we're supposed to be walking, talking Tylenol's and Depressants?" I looked at Jackson again, who didn't look too hot. Feeling out with my thoughts, I could hear that he had a lot of stressful crap in his everyday life.

"Hm..." What the hell? It's worth a shot. I tried something that I've never done before. If the Doctor was telling the truth, that we were gifted ESPers, then maybe I could discover a new... ability.

I focused on Jackson's mind as much as I could, and began thinking of calm, relaxing things...

Let's see how good I am at imposing my own thoughts on others.
