4. Any OPing of your character, such as discovering a new place, unpermittedly, will result in a warning. Three warnings and you will get suspended from the RP for 7 days (one week). Any repeat violations will result in 4 days being added for every new infraction.

1. Hitam Island - a small tropical island where your adventurers home resides. This is the starting place for the RP.

Bio: Abel was born somewhere else, but washed up adrift on a raft. He lives without parents in a shack that was already on the island. He was the first of the inhabitants on the island.

Abel sat on the West Beach of Hitam Island, watching the coarse waves of the sea. He looked at Javion. "Hey Javion, ever wonder what it'd be like to leave our small island and go somewhere. I mean, wherever the wind takes us! It would be incredible! Just imagine what we'd find."

 

He got up, watching some dark clouds, obviously bringing heavy rains and winds, roll over the horizon. "That storms gonna be fierce if it makes it here. We'd better hope it doesn't."

 

Abel looked at his small shack of a house, knowing it was safe with all the reinforcement beams in the walls. It wouldn't stand against tornadic winds, but when it came to it, this was his only home. He couldn't go somewhere else because the small island was surrounded by treacherous sea.

Alex studied the human from the tree while reading Percy Jackson & The Sea of Olympians. He chuckles as a wave crashes onto Abel. The tree rustles by Alex.

((Wait, studies the human? As you are inhuman?))

 

Abel got up, going to his house. He sat on his cotton mattress, laid on the ground, and pulled out a small box. It had a small compartment among its many empty spaces, and pulled out a ring. It was a simple ring. An onyx-like band with a small line of emeralds, sapphires, and rubies. Its simplicity was beautiful.

 

Abel put the ring on its chain and wore it around his neck. He got up, closing the window's shutters, pulling the latch-locks down. He imagined what it would be like once again to travel the world, seeing all the different peoples and animals that existed beyond his own.

(He is, but things may happen. And that as in he dosen't know who the hell he is.)

Alex throws a rock through the ceiling of Abel's house, saying, "This sucks." He then leaps from the tree to another, until he reaches a close enough distance to jump.

Alex looks into the sky, with a crazed look in the eye. He jumps into the water, & waits for the storm to start, to see what will happen during the storm.

Abel opened his door, looking out over the waters. There was something strange coming over the horizon. It had a strange ship and it looked like a ship. It was! A ship!

 

Abel jumped back from the looking glass, falling back.

 

He ran outside. "Javion do you see that? A ship is coming!"

No. You are a human. Wood is not lighter than water. Wood is less dense than water.

((Well they aren't in contact with civilization. How do you expect them to have guns?))

 

Abel looked at the ship as he was speedily approaching. It seemed to be going full speed for a small spit of wood left by the last inhabitants of the island, all of which mysteriously vanished.

 

The ship stopped in the shallows, sending a smaller boat up to the pier. One of the man, who looked very ragged and worn looked up from the map to see Abel. He jumped back in the boat. "Excuse me, but would this by chance be Ariacholos Island?"

 

"Ariacholos? Where's that? No. This is Hitam Island," Abel said, looking at the man strangely.

 

He looked down at the map, drawing lines with his fingers. "There's no such place as Hitam Island on this map! Are you playing a trick on me kid?"

 

"No, I promise sir." Abel said, waving his hands in front of him, seeing the saber on the man's waist.

 

"Hmm, I guess it wouldn't hurt to dock here for a day. We were traveling in that storm earlier," the man said, pointing to the oncoming storm. "And it seems to have blown us off our map. That's bad, because we have no reference to where we were blown. We could be 100 miles from Ariacholos or only a few 1000 yards."

 

He jumped onto the dock with the swiftness and braveness of a hero. "I am Aldric the Explorer, perhaps news of me has reached your off-map island?"

 

"No, sir. No one ever comes here..." Abel said, "And my name is Abel."

 

"Nice to meet you young boy," he said, shaking his hand. When he let go, he looked around, "Not many people around. And I'm guessing fewer houses. Hmm, seems my men will have to build shelters of their own."

 

The other men in the boat seemed to groan a little.

 

"First mate! Assemble a land-going crew from our group here, and then I would like you to send two back to get the rest of them," Aldric said, heartily.

 

The first mate jumped, "Umm... yessir! Right away! Umm... Barnibus, Edward, Gérard. And Gilles and Juste can go back for the others."

 

Barnibus jumped out, followed by Edward and Gérard. They seemed to be of the same physical build as their captain, but not as ragged from years of the sea.

Alex came out of hiding & saw the explorer. He swiftly runs into the house, & hides in a closet, until found by the people in the house. "This will be hard." He says, finally saying something.

Gérard was walking on the beach with Barnibus following him. "We've got to find enough sticks and leaves to form a lean-tu."
