Lucifer let out a dark smile as he took his hand out of the abdomen of the denizen of Hell. He dropped him on the ground. "Welcome to the force..." he said, as the denizen stood up. "Azrael." Azrael had long, blue hair, one angel wing, and green eyes. He bowed before Lucifer, and smiled. "You are dismissed." Lucifer said.

 

"Any time, Rukia..." Ichigo said, looking back at her. "Sorry, I was lost in thought.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

IC (Rukia): Rukia smiled as she opened up a Garganta.

"Then let's go!"

She pulled Ichigo into the gaping maw...

And they landed in the abyssmal desert outside of the Rukongai.

"Sorry! I guess I was a little off..."

Hisagi lead Kio to what looked like an old warehouse. "Ok, lets go." he said. Ko looked even more cofused. "In there?" he asked "There's nothing in there." Hisagi looked in side. "Hey! Kisuke! You in there?" he said. Kio pinched the bridge of his nose. Great. More people I don't know.

OOC: No, a human. And sure, you can use them.

 

Azrael smiled as he walked into a field, where there were several orbs. He grabbed a few, and broke them, as energy flowed out of them and into his right wing. "Excellent... their abilities are mine!" he said, opening a Garganta in front of him. "Now I can carry out Lord Lucifer's will... sayonara..." Azrael's garganta opened up in Las Noches. He appeared in front of... "Hikari Gasai!"

 

Ichigo rubbed the back of his head in frustration. "Aaaargh... damn. Oh well... it shouldn't take too long to find the place, right?"

~Ok. How does she use the things then. The hair pin things I mean.

 

There was a sound like something breaking, and then a man in a green coat wearing a striped hat and clogs walked out and smied at Hisagi and Kio. "Hey there. Is he the guy you were telling the Soul Society about?" he asked. Hisagi nodded. "I see. Well, my name is Kisuke Urahara. I own the Urahara shop here which supplies shinigami with all kinds of tools." Kio looked at him. "Why are you telling ME this stuff? Its not like I'm gonna shop here." Kio said in a rather rude tone. Urahara lowered his head a little. "Well just come in. So captain, I here you wanted to contact Ichigo?" said Urahara. "As soon as possible, yes." Hisagi replied as he and Urahara entered the shop; Kio reluctently followed.

IC (Maria): Just then, a woman, about 25 or so, walked in. She was of some sort of Latin American origin, with a beautiful body that has been kissed by the sun, deep golden eyes, luscious, chocolate-colered hair, and two bone-colored barrettes on either side of her head. She had on the female variant of the same school uniform that Ichigo and his comrades had worn, but it was obvious that the schoolgirl outfit was out of place on her more adult body.

"Hola, señores." she purred. "I am looking for a Mister Urahara?" She had a definite Hispanic accent to her Japanese, rolling her r's, making "Urahara" sound like "Urrraharrra".

Urahara turned and smiled. "That'd be me." he said in a slightly flirtatos tone of voice. Kio looked at her uniform. Who is she kidding with that? he thought. Hisagi simply ignored her all together andsat down. However, Urahara had already moved quite close to her as he held fan in front of his face. "What can I do for you miss..." he said holding out the "miss" as if to ask her name. As he did this, Kio slapped his forehead.

IC: The woman smiled as she pulled out a small grenade-like device, thumbed it, then placed it on the table, the device rapidly beeping.

"You can come back with me to the Soul Society." she smirked as the device went off.

The entire shop and the surrounding area for several yards was surrounded by a glowing hexagonally-tesselated bubble of energy.

The gigai bodies of the three lay on the floor, and the same woman, now in a mix of the Arrancar and Shinigami uniforms wielding a broadsword as big as Ichigo's Zangetsu, and with roughly the same strength, was standing over her gigai.

"I am Lieutenant Maria Cabbalera Delmuerte of the 12th Company, and I have orders from Captain Karasu to bring you and Yoruichi Shihōin into protective custody, Señor Urahara!"

Hisagi closed his eyes. "We need to be in the human world a little longer Lieutenate." he said nodding his head towards Kio, who was now on the ground. "Unless you'd like to be repoted for bringing a possible human into the Soul Society." Urahara closed his eyes. "Why are Yuruichi and I being placed under 'protective custody'?" he asked.

 

Kio stared at the ground for about 4 minutes, then yelled "HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN?!?!?"

Hikari stood up, and looked over at Azrael. "And who would you be...?" she said in a curious tone, holding tightly onto her blade incase she was attacked. "Not many people know where this place is..."

 

Azrael smiled, and turned around for a moment. "I'm here under orders by Lord Lucifer... to capture you!" he said, revealing a blue sword under his cloak. He unsheathed it, and pointed it towards Hikari "En garde!"

 

In an instant, Hikari dashed behind Azrael and beheaded him. "I have no time for these games... tell Lucifer he can go funk himself if he thinks he can get his hands on me."

 

Azrael's dismembered head smiled, and floated back onto his dead body. "Your attitude... I like it!" he said, pulling out his own sword. Several attempts to cut his body to pieces would be followed by them immediately being reattached. "Come on, Hikari-chan! Let us begin quite a wonderful game!" he said, as his cloak disintegrated, and an angelic white wing was revealed.

Bankai Description: Summons corpses that she can use as her puppets as well as putting a bone like shield around her.

Shukai Description: Not sure what this is, but her eyes dake and she summons a Balrog puppet to fight for her and defend her.

The fight between Azrael and Hikari went on for a while. Hikari was getting noticably tired, but Azrael wasn't. "sheet..." Hikari said, jumping back with a small cut on her shoulder. "He won't go down... I cut him and I cut him, but... he just shows one new ability after another! He wont go down.. he keeps regenerating! If only... I could tap into my Hollow-powers again..."

 

Azrael let off a smug grin, and pointed his finger towards Hikari. "Bakudo 63: Sajo Sabaku, and Bakudo 61, Rikujōkōrō!" he said, as Hikari was slammed with several wide beams of light, and tied up with binds of light. "I managed to successfully weaken you to the point of you being unable to break out of these. Checkmate." he said, grabbing Hikari's bound body by the collar, and opening up a garganta.

 

Hikari grimaced. "sheet... sheet... I can't be pulled out of this situation by my Inner Hollow... she's gone... part of me... grah... I have to..." she thought to herself. "Tell me... why do you want me?" she said, looking directly at Azrael.

 

"I don't know. I'm just following orders. Now get your ass in here!" he said,tossing Hikari into the garganta, and following her.

 

"sheet... sheet... sheet... sheet.... sheet...!" Hikari cursed, struggling. "It can't end here... I've gotten too far...! I wont let it... I wont let him take me! I just have to... tap into that power! Somehow... somehow! The rage... the anger... I have to tap into it! Ryuketsu no Tsurugi... don't fail me!" Hikari pulsated, and her mask started forming on her face. Her clothes started shredding, and her skin became featureless. She stood up, and looked at Azrael, as her tail grew and shattered the kidou bonds...

 

Azrael looked shocked, and but smiled. "Ah... a worthy opponent! Come, Hikari! Let us begin round-" he was interrupted by a large Cero being shot at him, obliterating most of his body.

 

OOC: Accepted. Anyone who opens up a Garganta can see the fight inside it, for reference.

Lilith yawned and opened a Garganta. "Azreal is fighting the female shinigami." she said to a body whose eyes seemed lifeless. "In the state she is currently in however, he can't possibly win." she said kneeling down and yawning again. "Still, it might be intereting to see a shingami who's tapped into her inner hollow."

 

~I forget,am I controling Toshiro and his hollow, or just his hollow?

Azrael was blown into pieces by the attack, but regenerated almost immediately. He brushed himself off, and grimaced. "Come now, Hikari. You should know now tha-" he said, interrupted by another pink cero that blew him to bits. He regenerated again, and scratched himself off. "Its only a matter of time until you run out of energy. I can keep this up all day." Azrael held his sword up, and it glowed blue. "Of course, since I can infact run out of energy, I might as well mix and match my powers. My Bankai allows me to use any 3 abilities I choose at a time. Regeneration, quick reiatsu recovery, and near-impenetrable skin. Unfortunately, I am now an unstoppable wall, and will simply outlast you."

 

Hikari looked at her clawed hand for a moment. You couldn't see it through her mask, but she was smiling. "This power..." she said, putting her hand down and looking back at Azrael. "It also regenerates... I guess this battle will last a while!" Hikari used Sonido to dash behind Azrael, and punched him in the face, knocking him away. She used Sonido once again to dash towards him, unleashing a furious combination attack and ripping his limbs off one by one, and using Ceros to destroy them. "Impenetrable my ass." she said, looking at Azrael's dismembered head in her hand.

 

OOC: Yeah.

Lilith yawned again. "Thats was pretty impresive. I didn't expect her to be able to tear through Azreals powers that easily." she said stretching "I guess her powers are far more developed than we had originally thought. Still, we should be able to defeat her."

Hikari smiled, and crushed Azrael's skull in her hand, causing his blood to flow down her arm. "Feh. Worthless." she said, waving her arm, and opening a garganta. "All the powers in the world won't help you if someone is this much stronger then you... enjoy your non-existence, Azrael."

 

There was a glow, as Azrael's dust formed together behind Hikari, and his body reformed. He was gasping for breath, and sweating. "Dammit... I might need to use my Shukai... against you... so soon? No... not yet..."

 

Hikari looked back at him. "Truly pathetic, aren't you? Come now, fight me with your all, or don't fight me at all! Show me your true power!" she said in a feral voice, as her reiatsu glowed a thick lavender color.

 

Azrael looked over, and noticed Lilith. He looked back at Hikari, and held his sword up. "You wanted it, do you...? Well... fine. Don't blink. Don't pause. Don't even breathe." he said, as his sword turned a red color and he grew a demonic wing on the right side of his body. He teleported behind Hikari, and a large gash appeared on her chest. "Or you will fall to me instantly." he said, pointing his fingers towards her. "Bakudo 63: Sajo Sabaku, and Bakudo 61, Rikujōkōrō!" Hikari was slammed with several wide beams of light, and tied up with binds of light. A garganta opened up behind her falling body, and Azrael dashed in front of her, grabbing her. "The abilities of the servants of Hell are amazing, no?"

 

Another garganta opened up behind Azrael, and a purple Cero shot out of it, hitting him, and knocking him back. Little damage was done, however. Leon stepped through the Garganta, sword in hand. "Don't you dare hurt her..." he said in an angered tone.

 

"Oh... another visitor? An Arrancar, too? How fun." he said, laying Hikari on a bed of reiatsu. "Let us fight then! I will slay you just as fast as I did her!"

 

OOC: Feels kinda awkward when all the action is coming from me.

Lilith stood. "Seems like I'm gonna have to bale him out." she said as she stepped out of the Garganta. The corpse like body followed her. "Arrancar. I'll be your opponent." she said as she drew her sword. She pointed the sword at Leon, and the corpse teleported behind him and wrapped its arms and legs around Leon in an attempt to keep him from moving. "Kill him." Lilith said yawning. The corpse began trying to snap Leons arms and legs.

OOC: Kio, could you do me a favor and PM me all your applications? I kinda never added them back when I was being inactive <_ also shukai is the absolute merge between zanpakuto and soul drawing out full powers of both.>

 

 

Leon's lavender reiatsu expanded, allowing him to break out of his restraints and dash forward. He pointed his sword up in the air, and reiatsu surrounded his body, causing a large explosion around him. "Resonate, Pesadilla!" he said, as the smoke cleared, revealing that his uniform turned into a black version, and his sword turned completely gold. "I should inform you of the first ability of my Release. Upon me releasing it, all reiatsu in the area is immediately dispelled. In other words, Hikari is free from her bonds."

 

Hikari opened her eyes, and stood up, holding the gash on her chest. The gash healed, and she looked at Azrael. "What... the hell are you?" she said, with a faint amount of fear in her tone.

 

Azrael started laughing. "In my Shukai, my power rivals even that of Lord Lucifer! I have all the abilities of the Hell's Servants whose essences I've absorbed, along with a portion of their power. What I showed you right then..." he said, disappearing and appearing behind Hikari. "Is the ability of teleportation!" Azrael cut Hikari across the back, causing another large gash that quickly recovered.

 

Hikari dashed back, and looked at him. "sheet..." she swore, looking directly at Azrael.

 

Another Garganta opened not far away from where the action was, and Zarkus stepped through...

[Hydra of Ages]

In a Garganta, the world between the world of Hollows and every other dimension, space and time was generally stable, as it was neutral. Neither existed within a transit dimension, for a dimension of nothing had no use for them. Beings lost within a Garganta, like souls lost between other dimensions, were cursed to lives of perpetual twilight-life. Wandering the boarders between life and death forever, as one never allowed to die, having their memories cruelly stripped from them piece by piece until nothing remained but the barest form, a skeleton of what had once been a unique soul, a blank shape.

 

But, in this infinite darkness, there was one particular oddity. A floating mass of Souls, the conglomerate of all that had been stripped and collected, creating a single sphere of monochrome emotion and memory, a wandering world all its own, a gypsy between space and time that never remained in one spot for very long.

 

And yet, despite its erratic behavior, every few years, it did brush up close to existing gateways between dimensions...

 

The Garganta pulsed once. Twice. It shook like it were feeling an earthquake, as if the safety rails upon it had been removed.

 

And then, directly in the wall of darkness, from which there was nothing, appeared the blade of a Zanpaktou. A regular-seeming Zanpaktou blade, simply levitating in mid-air, no sheath or method of floating evident.

 

And then, the world exploded into light as that blade made a quick divide. The Garganta deflated like a broken egg, its darkness giving into sudden light before it were equalized once again, as the shape attempted to heal itself. And yet before it did, a glance could have been caught of a massive, hulking entity; a white world, completely unknown and forgotten by others, hovering in time in space.

 

And in that brief period of light, that brief moment where the World of Wandering Souls docked on another world, five figures bridged the gap, all moving with extraordinarily leg power as they stood in the nothingness of the Garganta.

 

The one who owned the Zanpaktou who severed the boundaries between worlds was an Arrancar, radiating pure strength outward. His eyes were hard, but unlike most Arrancar, did not seem sadistic. Simply serious, as if he were a man that did not appreciate dancing about issues, and sad, as if he were perpetually mourning. A small shard of black mask covered his left eye, turning it yellow, but that was the only hint of his Arrancar lineage. He sheathed his sword and took a Pocketwatch from a pocket on his brown overcoat, looking at the time, before clicking it together and putting it away. He examined the area thoroughly.

 

None of the other four quite had the presence of this one. One was another Arrancar, this a hulking giant with a mask both above and bellow his face. And while he looked brutal, with a pair of wings, one flayed and skeletal, he still looked differential, even scared, of the other one before him. He glanced over at the other three creatures with something resembling concern, but returned his gaze to watching the superior Arrancar.

 

Two of the others were Shinigami. One was a taller, older man with red hair, who looked tuckered out and out of breath. He glanced around without eyes focusing, carrying the other Shinigami in his arms. The other shinigami was a blond-haired shorter girl, unconscious within his arms. Her skin was pale, as if she were dead, but her chest still rose and set with breath. Oddly, she seemed to wear what appeared to be the rags of a Captain's Haori over her shinigami robe, though it was wrapped around her like a blanket.

 

The final one was the oddest of all. Clearly a demon, he had dark hair, snakelike eyes and didn't seem concerned at all. He flicked a pipe out of hammerspace, twitched a finger infront of it to light it, and inhaled deeply, with a contented smile on his face. He loostened the red tie he wore over his green suit, and smiled. He blinked at everyone else who noticed the interlopers with a cocked eyebrow and chuckled.

 

"What? Not used to people dropping out of nowhere?" he said with a chuckle.

Lilith rolled her eyes. "I wasn't finished with that puppet. Why do you Hollow sheet keep showing up like this. Its annoying." she said. She turned and looked at Azreal. "If you would be so kind as to get me some new toys Azreal? Five or six puppets would be nice." she said as she played with her sword spinning it between her fingers.

Hikari was breathing deeply, with parts of her mask starting to crack off, and her skin starting to tear, revealing a more human skin under it. "I'm... I'm definitely stronger then him, but... he just won't fall!" she said in a desperate voice, ignoring the visitors. "His stamina... goes on forever!"

 

Azrael however, did not. He looked over at the people that entered in, and changed his attention to them. "Who the hell are you guys... and why are you here? I'm busy catching my pray." he said, pointing to Hikari.

[Hydra of Ages]

The hulking Arrancar paused. "Good question." he admitted in a gravelly voice. "We've been lost in that white place for so long, we all started to forget who we were, and why we were there." he said, shaking his head. "I'm still not entirely sure. But to answer your question about why we're here NOW- simple, this was the only place at the moment where we could break back into the real world. Satisfied?" he asked, a wing twitching.

 

The smaller Arrancar's eyes focused steely on the girl referred to as 'prey', and he walked towards her, taking his time. When he was beside her, he quickly took her face in his hand, staring into her eyes with his own, sad, blank, yet surprisingly intense ones. He paused before he spoke in a deep, very smooth voice, with a hint of some sort of undetectable accent.

 

"Why do you wear a mask while you hold a heart, girl?" he asked.

 

The red-haired shinigami simply sat down, panting for breath, while the demon leaned against some invisible wall and continued to puff on his pipe. He blinked at Azrael. "You look familiar." he said after a second. "Have we met before? Cousin of a friend, maybe?"

Lilith looked at Azreal. "Azy, you now that with the reiatsu that girl has, you wouldn't be able to beat her. I cam to make sure you don't get killed." she said still playing with her sword. But who is that other Arrancar in the back? his Spiritual Pressure is huge. she thought I'd better kill him and this other Arrancar fast. "Now Azy, please bring some toys up for me." she said in a innocent tone.

"I do not recall. If you see some of a being who was refered to as Sareta Tenshi in me... then yes, I guess I could say we've met." he said, twirling around his sword. "Now how about you let me take that girl with me, and we can get on with our lives?"

 

Hikari looked up at the smaller Arrancar, breathing heavily. "I am... not a complete Hollow. I'm half Hollow, half Shinigami... but unlike the Vizard, I am a perfect mix of the two... the ultimate hybrid." she said, as her mask started cracking further, and more and more of her human skin was revealed. "Dammit... he... he absorbed my reiatsu when we fought..."

Lilith looked at Hikari. "The ultimate hybrid? Hah!! Don't make me laugh!! You can't even maintain that form long enough to beat Azy can you?" Lilith said laughing "I guess I was wrong about you." She then knelt down and used her reiatsu to make a doll about waist height made of mud. Not much. But it'll have to do. she thought as she took control of the doll. Then turning to Zarkus, she said "Hollow. Are you ready?"
