Zarkus stopped short of peircing Rukia's exoskeleton, gasping for air.

"You made me go all this way too. My most deadly dance."

Rukia had wrapped her ribbon around Zarkus's chest, constricting him.

"You blood is now frozen. In a few moments, your entire body will shut down due to a lack of oxygen."

"Check and mate."

Zarkus gasped for breath. "Dammit!" he thought, as he started to black out. "I guess I picked a fight... with the wrong... person... at least..."

 

*15 years ago, quickly after Aizen was sealed up...*

A mysterious figure walked into Las Noches. He had a blackish body, and long black hair. His shape was overall human, except for long nails. His mask was a rather weird one, with one open eyehole on the left, and no other features on it. "So this... is Las Noches?" the Hollow said, noting the vacancy. There we very few Arrancar in there. Indeed, it was as if the place was completely empty. After a bit of walking, the Hollow reached the vacant throne room where Aizen once sat, and looked at it, sitting on it.

 

An Arrancar walked up in front of him. He had blue hair, and a large gash in his chest. "What the funk is your name?" the blue-haired Arrancar said.

 

The Hollow stood up, and walked around the Arrancar, looking him over. "Its customary to introduce yourself first." he said, walking back.

 

"My name...? Grimmjow. Grimmjow Jaggerjack."

 

"And my name is Zarkus. Zarkus Syuren.

*in the now*

 

Zarkus was fading from consciousness. However, there was another explosion of spiritual pressure next to him that melted the ice in his veins. "Resonate," the voice said, as a large wave of spiritual pressure came out of the explosion. The person standing there was Leon, wearing a black version of the Arrancar outfit, and holding a golden, glowing sword. "Pesadilla (nightmare)"

 

OOC: Yay, flashbacks!

Secchi could feel a pressure he hadn't felt for awhile. The very cold of the Spiritual Pressure made him shiver. "It's nearby." He said, looking over to Voltage, whom he know would come striking at any moment. "Tenpou Ranpu.... He is done. As much as he wishes to fight on, he is relying on pure will right now. Let us go..... We will search out this beckoning cold." He stated grimly, shunpo-ing away from the battle along with Tenpou Ranpu. "This feeling of cold, I only remember it from when Rukia Kuchiki's Zanpakuto had joined the rebellion." Tenpou Ranpu said surprisingly. "Is it possible her Zanpakuto is free again?" Secchi asked. "No. The strength is far to powerful, however, I sense Hollow-like energy filtering from within this cold Reiatsu." Tenpou Ranpu said rather questioningly now. "Is it possible Rukia Kuchiki has been hollowfied?" Secchi asked. Tenpou Ranpu looked down as they appeared near the battle, Rukia midsentence with her, "Check and mate." Secchi and Tenpou looked over at the woman forcing Zarkus so easily to his death. "This..... isn't what I expected." Secchi said, wondering what was going on. As the two had arrived, their Spiritual Pressures were one, Tenpou Ranpu having been the Second Soul residing within Secchi, along with Ukiyo. The Spiritual Pressure was forcing and growing, yet it was burning warm, somewhere in the higher 150 Degrees, and rising. Secchi and Tenpou seemed to ignore the warmth, more focused on the freezing Reiatsu standing before them. "Well, well, Tenpou, turns out it really is Rukia Kuchiki." He said with excitement. "I haven't seen her since the academy. I suppose you haven't either Tenpou, considering you were my blade at that time too." He said laughing now. "How have you been Ms. Kuchiki?" They both asked, extremely interested in her response.

IC: Rukia, very puzzled at Secchi's question, asked "How the hell are you?" before being blown away by Leon's release.

Secchi watched Rukia blown away, then looked over to Leon. "Ah, I see they woke you up." Secchi said happily. "Why didn't they tell me?" He asked him. He looked back over to Rukia where she had been blown away to. "By the way, to answer your question, I'm just fine!" He exclaimed delightedly to her. Truly he looked bored, but a good battle between Hollows would get his blood rushing. "Why are we even here to watch these two?" Tenpou Ranpu asked, rather boredly. "Now, now, let's not be dull Tenpou. We are an audience, and it is such as us to act as so." He said cheerily. Tenpou sighed, thinking to himself. Truly Master you have become insane. What made you act like such an idiot nowadays? Secchi looked over to him, his happy eyes looking almost death appealing to him. Secchi thought a response back to Tenpou, knowing he had obviously forgotten they shared the same mind as well. I think it better if you not call me insane, nor an idiot. You forget that even you, being my Zanpakuto, I am stronger than you with just my Kidou. Granted I don't waste it on enemies, cause that's our little secret. His face turned evil impelled as he looked at him now. Is that perfectly clear, buddy? He thought furiously. Tenpou simply nodded his head and looked over to the battle.

[Mr.WHAM]

Ze'borova woke up from his deep slumber on the floor feeling a sudden surge of cold, then heat all around him. He began shivering, and he could sense the mass of spiritual pressures coming from outside. He looked around, he thought he had seen Aizen & Gin but he decided not to investigate. Instead he went outside, following the cold & heat which emanated like a great Arctic Wind Furnace. He found their source, and his eyes stopped and walked outside witnessing a raging battle about to unfold. He looked around and saw a man in a clown suit and a lava beast, and he approached them. "Hey you! Were you the guy that was watching me while I fought Alvaro? Where is he anyway?"

IC: Suddenly, a strange Hollow-like creature landed in front of Zeb. (OOC: Mind if I call him Zeb?)

She looked human, but had a Hollow-like shell, icy wings, and a "mask" that wasn't really a true Hollow mask in a sense of the term.

As the Hollow-woman lay on the ground in front of Zeb, she opened her eyes, which were an icy-blue, turned her head towards Zeb, smiled, and said "Hello."

IC: Ze'borova smiled warmly, in return averting his eyes from the man he was calling's glance. "How are you" he said. Then he noticed Leon's spiritual pressure raging about and decided to go over to him. "Little one, he said. Calm down, I know not what they have done to you but please do not fight someone else when they might just be your friends. We don't need any unnecessary bloodshed" Ze'borova said calmly looking deep into his eyes, his stare almost brotherly. Leon's spiritual pressure was beginning to die down. 'Thank goodness, I thought that wouldn't work' Ze'borova said to himself.

OOC: Tenpou has become a human and looks exactly like me now, only his hair is red and he's wearing clothes similar to mine in the opposite colors.

IC: Secchi stood there, then looked back at Zeb, sighing as he rubbed the back of his head. "Yes, I'm the guy who was watching your battle, and not to be mean, but I expected something a little more, oh I don't know, entertaining?" He said kind of rudely. "Anyway, I see you've met Rukia here." He said, his arm suddenly around her, seeming as if he was there the whole time. The cold chill didn't seem to affect him, which seemed strange considering she was below freezing. "So Rukia, tell me, how has life been? You never answered me." He had a radiating warmth which seemed to filter around them.

 

Tenpou was looking over to his Master and Rukia, sighing. He walked over to Leon, putting his hand to his shoulder, a kind warmth radiating around him as well. "I know how you have felt. Locked up for so long. The freedom of the air is wonderful, is it not?" He asked kindly. Though Secchi and Tenpou looked different, and Tenpou was a Zanpakuto, and Secchi was a Hybrid, their personalities were not different in a single sense. They didn't believe in killing their enemies, they believed in letting them live, holding a grudge, or setting an agreement. Tenpou and Secchi were one being, so it only seemed reasonable that they generated a natural "warmth".

IC: Rukia pulled herself out of the impact crater she made for herself, and brushed sand off of her body.

"I don't know how I've been doing...I don't really remember much of what has happened since Ichigo disappeared 15 years ago."

"I didn't even realize 15 years had passed until he told me."

Alvaro slowly opened his eyes and staggered to his feet with one thought on his mind. 'Ze'borova'. He remebered him now. He hadn't seen or thought of him for nearly 15 years, not since he spared his life. 'He got really lucky today' ALvaro though. 'I shoudn't have spared him back then' he grumbled. After rubbing the pain from his limbs, he quickly sped off in the direction of Ze'borova's Spiritual Pressure. 'He's got some explaining to do.'

IC: But before Alvaro could completely get to Zeb, he stearted to feel cold.

Then a female Hollow-looking creature landed on his back, which caused his back to feel the freezing temperature of her exoskeleton.

"Hello." Rukia looked down at Al.

Sajin and Omaru jumped back as Sajin unleashed his Shikai. In its Shikai, Tenken creates various body parts of a fearsome armored giant to copy whatever body part Komamura moves; for example, should Komamura swing his sword, a gigantic disembodied arm wielding a sword appears and does the same thing. The body's gigantic parts generated by the Initial Release possess strength and attacking power proportionate to their size (though not as great as it could be due to not having a full body), making Komamura's Zanpakutō quite powerful. Sajin swung his sword around as the giant arm grabbed Omaru and Sajin swung his sword downward as the arm threw Omaru into a building.

 

Omaru got up and regain his strength. "It's his Shikai huh? How nice."

'What is the feeling' Alvaro thought as he fell to his knees. 'It's so cold' He looked at Rukia. "What is.. this..." he asked. "Why are you so cold" he asked as he slowly tried to rise to his feet. Rukia neglected to answer, simpling choosing to stare at him. He felt another spike of reitsu. 'There it is again. That's where he is.' "Sorry," he said to Rukia, "but I've got to go." He bowed quickly to her (he showed respect for fear of death) and took off again. "That reitsu feels like it's building. Whatever's happening, I dont want to miss it." He shot throuhg the halls with a burst of his Shadow Sonido. 'Here I come'

Ze'borova looked at Secchi in disappointment. "Your Zanpaktou reminds me of myself because, I too have a great appreciation for freedom and to roam around. But Secchi there is something I have to tell you: you should never look upon your opponent's as beneath you or as 'entertainment' I had to tell this to many Arrancar back when I was trapped here. And the simple reason for not telling the this is that it pisses them off. Then they get stronger just cuz' they wanna prove you wrong. Then when they get tired of being your toy and kill you, that pang of shame will be so bitter for you but revenge or rather justice will be so sweet for them...And then that strength they gain will never leave them, so they will be able to hold it above you and manipulate you as they please. But then again, you wouldn't understand the workings of a Feral Heart, which is something people like Kurosaki-san, Zaraki-san and myself have. Your enemy is never entertainment, nor is an ally or a rival...I just noticed you were dressed as a clown... How entertaining..." Ze'borova smiled. Then he turned around, "Alvaro-san, that was a welcome and most deserved reunion. How are you these days?"

Secchi sighed as Tenpou appeared beside him, sighing as well. "We don't believe our opponent's are entertainment. We believe them just and good competition, but, we find two other people fighting as entertainment. We all know you and Zaraki see your opponent as a fun game. I could sense it within your personality as you were fighting Zeb." Both Secchi and Tenpou stated in complete harmony. "Now, Alvaro lost to you, so you have my respect, but if you so much as judge me again, I will not hesitate to fight you for your pride and honor." Secchi said reasonably. "Master, come. It seems this place is getting far to crowded, I wish not for fights to start." Tenpou said quietly. "All right Tenpou. By the way Zeb, be careful who your calling a clown, as this is a very stylish outfit in my opinion." He said laughing. Tenpou joined in on the laugh, as they both vanished in an upbreeze of sand. Their laughs seemed to echo in the breeze of the sand, yet they echoed more thoroughly in Zeb's ears. Secchi and Tenpou arrived in his Zanpakuto room, handing Tenpou his blade. "Since your materialized, I'll just have you come around with me with your blade. Since I'm unarmed now though, I'll go ahead and take this little Zanpakuto right here. I'm sure they'll remember it from memories past." He said laughing, sheathing the Zanpakuto. "Master, your going to use your old blade? But why? It is dull and riddled with the stench of the Soul Society." Tenpou said questioningly. "That may be so, but I would love to use it again. Remember, it is what got me to my Espada 0 Position and Captain of the 13th Squad." Secchi said happily.

[Mr.WHAM]

"That man, still so high..maybe he doesn't know what a Feral Heart is...Zaraki and I may have been born in the same place, but my opponent is never a game! I must give them my respect. I owe that much to them... His reasons also don't explain how Kurosaki-sama has a Feral Heart which I know for a fact he does. I was right he doesn't know what a Feral Heart is..."

 

"Ze'borova...I remember when we fought before" Alvaro said behind him.

 

"Oh MAN ! I forgot you were there", Ze'borova said smiling. "Yea I remember back then you defeated me. I must thank you though. Without it, I would have never developed this Feral Heart O' mine. So thanks Alvaro."

[Reaper of Shadows]

"Yeah," Alvaro began. "Good job today. You actually beat me." Zeb smiled, just before ALvaro disappeared before he had a chance to react. Before Zeb knew it, Alvaro had his own Zanpaktou to his throat. "But it's only cause you got lucky. Don't let it go to your head," Alvaro threatened, before backing off and returning Ze'borova's sword to him. "Now pleasantry's aside, what are you doing here?"

[Mr.WHAM]

Ze'borova smiled, appreciating Alvaro's threat. "I want to know what's happening over in the realm of death, so what better place to go then Hueco Munod! Everything happens here! So tell me, WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE!!!!!"

[Reaper of Shadows]

Alvaro sighed before walking down the hall and motioning for Zeb to follow it. "it's not looking to good," he began. "The arrancar are fighting wars on two fronts, and I hate to say it , but were losing. We have to contend with the Army of Hell, and Lucifer is crazy strong. He took down Zarkus in one blow."

 

"Just one blow!" Ze'borova asked suprised.

 

"Yep. If it wasn't for the arrival of Kurosaki-san, who know's what would have happened." He continued walking. " And if that weren't bad enough, Soul Society is now a potential threat. There mustering thier strenth to combat us as well. While we could prob gather our strenth and deal with Soul Society without a problem, as soon as we did that Lucifer would swoop in and finish us off." HE stopped and turned to Ze'borova.

 

"The number's game is not on hour side. There just aren't enough of us Vasto-Lorder Arrancar to take on both Soul Society AND Hell. We're strong, but we're not invincible."

[Mr.WHAM]

"Hmmm...that is a problem. If we do defeat Lucifer, Aizen will become the King of Hell, and that will be worse. I know that the Soul Society has its issues with Hueco Mundo, but maybe if they work together they can figure out how to end the battle with hell and stop fighting with the Arrancar. Or hell and soul society could team up destroy hueco mundo, have us all go to hell, If we go, and destroy S.S. Or Hell & Hueco team up destroy ss, but that leaves the problem of of if we defeat them, how do we defeat heel, and if we do where are the damn hollows gonna go!!! If we lose...then well, excuse my pun, we will surely be howling in Armageddon. We need to keep the order and form an alliance. Our best bet would be to convince Kurosaki-san to talk to S.S on our behalf, defeat hell without killing lucifer thereby stopping Aizen from taking over and we can go back to being enemies."

 

Ze'borova just then noticed Rukia's icy reitsu emanating from behind him.

Alvaro thought about Ze'borova words and was about to answer before he felt a very cold reitsu from behind him. "Its Rukia," he said to Ze'borova, haing not known that Zeb had already spoken to her.

 

"I know" Ze'borova said quiety.

 

"Should we be worried," Alvaro asked slowly reaching for the hilt of his sword. Just before he touched it though Ze'borova grabbed his arm.

 

"Drawn your sword against Rukia and it'll be the last thing that you do," Ze'borova said. Alvaro would've told him to stopp playing around if it weren't for the look in Zebs eyes. He was completely serious. ALvaro slowly let his hand drop to the saide.

 

"So what do we do," ALvaro muttered.

 

"We wait," Zeb said simply and they stood and waited for the Ice Princess to join them.

Just then Ze'borova had a thought. "Maybe we should tell her about our conversation," Ze'borova whispered. "It'd be even better if she was listening the whole time. If we can present our predicament to her and convince her, we could have a better case if we bring it up with Ichigo."

 

Alvaro looked questioningly into Ze'borova's eyes. "Hmm that could work, but what if she doesn't agree?"

 

"We will just go up to Ichigo without her support then."

 

"I don't like that idea as much but we should try," Alvaro said. The two turned around to Rukia as she drew closer to them.

IC: Kio looked around the the shop. As usual, they have nothig usfull... he thought. Their was a ghost hoveringover his shoulder looking at the merchandise. "Ooo, get that one!" said the ghost. Kio sighed in annoyence. "Why do yo wnt anything? Yur a ghost. You can't use it." said Kio. Suddenly their was a loud explosion outside. He turned and saw another monster fightig a samurai looing man. As usual, he was the only one (aside from the ghost) that could see them. The people started to run panicing around Soyeki Street, Karakura. Kio ran outside, turned, and started to run down the street away from the monster. Whats the deal with these guys anyways? Wh do they keep showing up laely? he tougt a still running.
