Episode 1: Introducing the Xenomorphic Monsters!

 

"You know what you have to do. You know what needs to happen. You know how this all needs to end. Accept me, Take me in, Make us whole!" The shadow spoke to Alexii as he just sat unable to move. Emerging from the shadows were odd insects, powerful monsters, monstrosities. Thats what they were, they were his duel monsters.

Alexii awoke in a pool of sweat, he was having the dreams again, the dreams that always plauged him. The dark shadows of his mind talking to him. Trying to make him use those cards, the Xenomorphic cards. What could he do?

 

 

"Who are you?!" The power voice eminated from the man in the mint and freshly pressed Obelisk Blue uniform.

Alexii looked around himself to see who the man was addressing. After finguring out that there wasn't anyone else around except for him he stuttered out his reply.

"I-I-I'm Alexii St-st-steel"

"Why are you not in the designated dueling uniforms? Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, and Obelisk Blue? They are to be worn by all students at all times!"

"Well, actually... umm, I am not a student here."

"Then what exactly do you think you are doing here than? This entire Island is off limits to anyone that hasn't been invited or is attending the school."

"Well... I wasnted to ask if I could be a student here."

As Alexii's words left his lips a man walked out onto the feild where he and the man were trading their words. He was short and dressed in all black.

"What is the problem here Newright?" The man asked in a calm tone.

"Chanslor. I found a young man searching the grounds. I was just about to eject him from the island."

"Well," The chanslor continued, "That is procedure. Tell me son, whats your name and why are you here?"

Alexii was caught off guard by the question, he was almost sure that the two men had forgotten he could speak. "Well, sir, I wanted to ask to join your school. Oh, and my name is Alexii Steel."

"Well," the chanslor continued, "I am sorry to say that this school selects its students, the students do not select the school. Also, the selection process has already ended for this semester."

"I know." Alexii started, he knew how the school worked but he wanted in so badly, no he needed to get in. He needed to learn how not to rely on his monsters so much. "Is there anyway that I could still enter, like a try out or something?"

"Well, that sounds very interesting. Alright the solution to this problem is simple. You'll duel one duel. If you win you're in, If you lose thats it, its all over and you'll be ejected from the island."

"Alright." Alexii confirmed, "Who will I duel?"

"Me!" Mr. Newright announced! Alexii stumbled at the mans voice, he had completely forgotten the man in the blue was even present.

"Mr. Chanslor," Mr. Newright continued, "Please allow me to text this young man's ability."

"That sounds like a great idea!"

"What!? I have to duel an instructor." Alexii could hear the fear in his voice.

"Do you have a problem with that?"

"N-n-no. When?"

"Right now!" The chanslor proclaimed, "Here use my personal duel disk. I will sit here and judge you're ability."

 

Alexii stood across from his opponet. "Duel!" they booth shouted. With that the duel disk that Alexii had fited over his arm shifted itself into the playing position. The counter on the top of the disk increased to show his life points set at 8000.

"Alright!" Mr. Newright shouted, "You get to move first."

"Right." Alexii practically whispered.

Alexii drew six cards. He looked down at them then at Mr. Newright, then back to his cards. Thats when the voice in his head started crying out to him. "Use me, Unify Me, Make us whole!" No, Alexii addressed himself silently, He refused to use those cards, he couldn't take the chance of the darkness taking him over.

"Alright! I play a card in deffence mode, then I lay two cards face down. Then I end my turn."

As his words escaped his lips the duel disk he carried sprang to life. It light up in a miriade of color and light. Slowly before materialized the same cards he placed on his duel disk.

"Kid! With moves like that you'll never win. I have an entire onslaught of power ready and deffense just wont cut it! I draw. Then I play Heavy Storm. This spell removes your two face downs from the feild."

With that a giant malestrom storm flushed out from the man and shattered the cards that sat in fromt of Alexii.

"Next I summon the Spear Dragon! Then I attack your facedown."

A small dragon appeared. It was by no means terrifying but it was unsettling the look in its eyes as it used its seraded snout to slice Alexii's facedown card in half.

"Now thanks to my dragon's effect, you lose life points still. And I end my turn with three facedowns."

And like Mr. Newright had said the counter on Alexii's duel disk showed that he had lost a thousand life points. Putting him at 7000. He was already down and Mr. Newright knew that he wasn't good enough for this.

"Me. I draw!" Alexi called. Alright, Alexii thought, his dragon automatically goes to deffence mode and it doesn't have any points there for I should probably take it out before anything happens. Alexii looked down at his cards, No, his mind shouted, he had drawn one of those cards. He couldn't use, he musn't but the allure of their power called out to him.

"I summon Elemental Hero Avion! And I'll have him attack your dragon!"

He placed his cards down and with it appeared a man in a green uniform with large angelic wings. The man then lifted himself into the air with this wings and aimed his body toward the sitting dragon.

"Not so fast! I activate waboku. It cancels your attack."

"What?! I end my turn."

"To bad. I shift my dragon to attack position and then I play the ritual card White dragon Ritual, then use it to summon my Paladin of White Dragon from my deck at the cost of a monster from my hand. That gives me two monsters with 1900 attack points and first my spear dragon will whipe out that Avion. Then my dragon lord will attack you directly."

It happened just like his opponet had declared. His blue dragon first lifted up and sliced up Avion, and took another 900 points out of his life points. Then the white dragon with its Paladin riding attack him again taking out 1900 life points. That left Alexii with 5200, whole his opponet still mantained 8000. What could he do?

"I draw." Alexii stared as yet another of those cards joined his hand. Then it hit him, it shrouded him, it took him. The shadows in his mind came to the front of his head and he could feel the power of his monsters slowly take hold and give him strength.

"I play a feild spell! Say hello to Hostile Environment!" His voice grew deeper with a tain in it. His opponet didn't phase, he had no idea what was about to happen. Poor Fool! Alexii chuckled to himself, he loved nothing more than introducing new opponents to his monsters. They left scars that wouldn't heal, scars on your mind, they were perfect fighting machines. "Alright," Alexii continued, his voice still sinking deeped, "This feild sell subtracts 500 points from every monster on the feild. It also lets me draw two cards."

"It makes no difference. My monsters still out number yours, and my skill out match yours!"

"I set three cards facedown, then I activate a magic card! Say hello to my Xenomorphic Egg card. Now before I go into this card's effect let me ask you Mr. Newright. Have you ever heard of the Xenomorphic cards?"

"No, Why?"

"Because they are the cards that I use. They're all one of a kind. All the only ones ever made. Peguses said he would never make another, because of the dark powers they all have. They make life itself into a weapon."

"From what I can see you don't have the guts to weild any power like that."

"Oh that is the biggest mistake you could ever make. I am more than powerful enough to handle the like of you! Ha. Did I mention I dueled Yugi Motto? Oh and I won! I defeated the Egyptian God Cards using their life force to power the most powerful cards in this game!"

"You're bluffing. You couldn't beat him and you wont beat me!"

"Whatever you say! Now back to the game Xenomorphic egg infects one of your monsters with one of mine, and in three turns my monster will burst out of yours. But wait! Next I activate a trap card known as Rapid Breeding Order. This card accelerated my monster incubation and allows it to hatch right here and now!"

Mr. Newright's spear dragon with the end of Alexii's words cried out in pain. Its chest bulged, then the monster shattered into peices. With that a small insect seeming monster appeared on Alexii's side of the feild. The monster was shapped like a man but had all the attributes of an insect. Not only that but its head was enlongated and shapped kinda like a banana. On its arm it carried the spear that had once belonged to the spear dragon's head.

"What did you do to my monster?"

"I told you. I used it as an incubator for my monster, and if you look real hard you can even see what my monster took from yours. Notice its arm, and the wings are a nice improvement as well. Now my monster known as Xenomorphic Drone cannot attack this turn, it needs to grow a little more, but next turn you'll see exactly what my monster can do. Oh and did I mention that all Xenomorphic monsters gain 500 instead of losing 500 as my feild spell designates. That places my monster at 2400 attack and 3000 deffence."

"My turn." Mr. Newright announced.

"I activate my monster's effect and send it to the graveyard so I can summon the Blue Eyes White Dragon!"

The sky shifted and heavy white clouds burst into light as a white dragon decended from the heavens. Its attack was 2500 and its deffence was 2000.

"Now," Alexii's opponet continued, "Attack his monster!"

"I activate my trap card. Xenomorphioc Strike! With it your monster's attack is reduced to zero for the duration of the turn. And your attack is cancelled."

"I guess that means my turn ends here."

"You're right. Now i go. Draw. And say hello to another Xenomorphic Egg card. And another Rapid Breeding Order Trap. Say good bye to the the Blue eyes. And hello to another of my Xenmorphic drone monster cards. This one has 3500 attack and 3000 deffence. Those are good stats. Still this one cannot attack until the next turn. But my first one! He is great to attack! Now Go. Cyclone Blaster!"

The first monster that Alexii had summoned spread its wings that it had taken from the spear dragon and lifted into the air. It pried its jaws open and launched a blast of wind that hit Mr. Newright. That took his life points down to 5600.

"Now I play Royal Breeding. So I sacrafice my Xenomorphic Drone to summon a more powerful monster. Say Welcome your highness to the all powerful Xenomorphic Queen!"

Episode 1: Introducing the Xenomorphic Monsters!

Or...the aliens of Alien? Why? Why is this about fictional characters from a realistic setting crossing over into a card game in a fictional cartoony setting? WHAAAAA!?!?

The shadow spoke to Alexii as he just sat unable to move. So a shadow started chanting "MAKE US WHOLE!!!1" in front of a vegetable with an oddly-feminine name, but whom is really male. Emerging from the shadows were odd insects who were shaped like apple pies and orange with purple spots, powerful monsters, monstrosities. That APOSTROPHE s what they were (as if we couldn't tell by you saying EMERGING FROM THE SHADOWS WERE), they were his duel monsters.

Alexii awoke in a pool of sweat, That comma should really be a period. he was having the dreams again, the dreams that always plauged him. So a shadow chants "MAKE US WHOLE!!!1" while polka-dotted pie bugs come out, and it SCARES HIM. "Aah! The insects! They're pies! They're walking around! They're not hurting me! AAAAHHHHHH!" The dark shadows of his mind talking to him. Trying to make him use those cards, the Xenomorphic cards. What could he do? Go to a psychiatrist?

 

 

"Who are you?!" The power voice Power voice? More like NINTENDO POWER voice! eminated from the man in the mint and freshly pressed Obelisk Blue uniform. Mint is a type of blue? He's telepathic?

Alexii looked around himself instead of looking around, you know, that dog that is so obviously there and so easy to confuse with just leaving out the 'himself', to see who the man was addressing. By the way, this room of which you speak is a bedroom. The man with the NINTENDO POWER voice is really just a scary animatronic talking Christmas tree...with EYES. After finguring (which means jabbing your fingers into your brain so that you may figure out stuff) out that there wasn't anyone else around except for him he stuttered out his reply.

"I-I-I'm Alexii St-st-steel QUESTION MARK"

"Why are you questioning yourself?"

"I dunno. Maybe the author just wasn't specific enough."

"Why are you not in the designated dueling uniforms? Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, and Obelisk Blue?"

"Well, what was THAT sentence for?"

"I dunno, maybe I just thought you were ignorant and not paying attention to any of your surroundings. But about the uniforms, they are to be worn by all students at all times! If you don't the hounds will find you! They're enraged by any outfit that isn't an official Duel Academy uniform! Wear that nightgown you're apparently wearing and die!"

"Well, actually... umm, I am not a student here." Since he's not using apostrophes, he MUST be a robot. Or something. Or Spock in disguise. OOH. Since he's not described, I'm going to have to make it clear that Alexii is Spock in disguise, in a nightgown. That explains the outlandish name. I guess.

"Then what exactly do you think you are doing here than (it's THEN)? This entire Island is off limits to anyone that hasn't been invited or is attending the school."

"Well... I wasnted (he was not named Ed? Uh?) to ask if I could be a student here." Clearly it has been a long time since Spock has been on Earth, because no man in their right mind would go into Mr. Important's office and ask if they can enter their school without consulting the lower authorities and secretaries about it.

As Alexii's words left his lips a man walked out onto the feild FIELD where he and the man (A man? THE man? HE-MAN? Which one's which? Are they the same man? Alright. SO, there's a green pasture in the middle of the room. A man walked through the door and onto said pasture. He steps on a grazing cow. He starts talking to himself. were trading their words. He was short and dressed in all black.

"What is the problem here COMMA Newright?" oddly-capitalized The man asked in a calm tone.

"Chanslor. YOU need to spell-check. It's CHANCELLOR. And why does that deserve its own sentence? I found a young man searching the grounds. I was just about to eject him from the island."

"Well," oddly-capitalized and oddly-spelled The chanslor continued, "That is procedure. Tell me son, what APOSTROPHE s your name and why are you here?"

Chancellor Christmastree knew that Spock wasn't registered this whole time? Is he Xanatos in disguise? Will he say "I KNEW THAT ALL ALONG" in response to Spock's argument? WHICH ONE'S THE CHANCELLOR!?!?!?!?!?!? What's going on!? "Well, sir, I wanted to ask to join your school. Oh, and my name is Alexii Steel."

"Well," the chanslor continued, "I am sorry to say that this school selects its students, the students do not select the school. Also, the selection process has already ended for this semester." Then he duels and he wins a spot. Blammo. I just revealed your plot, didn't I?

So to execute his super spy mission on the Planet of Hats he'll have to have his skills tested, y'know? He needed to learn how not to rely on his monsters so much. "Is there anyway that I could still enter, like a try out or something?" NO. That's like saying, "You've already shoved me out of your now-full football team. Can I show you my mad skillz and get in? After all, I AM the Gary Stu."

"Well, that sounds very interesting..."

Spock grinned oddly, his mouth wide open.

"...ly stupid."

He frowned.

"But I am the Gary Stu of this story! Plus, I have interesting nightmares!"

"Mr. Chanslor," Mr. Newright continued, "Please allow me to text this young man's ability." You see, aboard the Enterprise everyone gets these cool cell phones called the Verizon Ability. So he's saying he's going to text Spock's Ability. Uh.

"That sounds like a great horrible idea!"

"What!? I have to duel an instructor." Alexii could hear the fear in his voice.

"Do you have a problem with that?"

"N-n-no. When?"

"Right now!" The chanslor proclaimed, "Here use my personal duel disk. I will sit here and judge you are? Bad grammar alert! ability to see if it can receive messages."

"THEN we duel."

The counter on the top of the disk increased to show his life points set at 8000. For Duel Academy that's abnormally high. It's like they're trying to get him in.

"Alright!" Mr. Newright shouted, "You get to move first."

"Right." Alexii practically whispered.

Alexii drew six cards. He looked down at them then at Mr. Newright, then back to his cards. That APOSTROPHE s when the voice in his head started crying out to him. "Use me, Unify Me, Make us whole!" If he didn't want to they wouldn't be in his deck, right? So he couldn't right now anyways, right? And why would playing a certain trading card on this effed-up machine make him go BUCK WILD? That makes as much sense as what happened in Yu-Gi-Oh GX that one time. And that made a BIT more sense because, you know, alternate universe.

"Alright! I play a card in deffence mode that's not even correct in Great Britain, then I lay two cards face down. Since when were cards gently laid down? Well, he IS Spock, right? Justified? Then I end my turn."

As his words escaped his lips the duel disk he carried sprang to life. It light LIT up in a miriade your spelling is grossing me out, yo of color and light. Doesn't the word LIGHT already give away the LIGHT part? Slowly before materialized the same cards he placed on his duel disk. Since you forgot to include 'them' I guess before that flashy unnecessary light show some cards appeared.

"Kid! With moves like that you'll never win. Ever heard of a trap card, Chancellor Christmastree? Or perhaps quick-play? I have an entire onslaught of power ready and deffense just won APOSTROPHE t cut it! He..sounds..stupid. He obviously hasn't heard of Destiny Hero Defender. I draw. Then I play Heavy Storm. This spell removes your two face downs from the FIELD and doesn't it technically remove EVERY one from the field, not just two cards? I mean, TECHNICALLY."

With that a giant malestrom storm Huh. Maelstrom. Storm. Maelstrom. Storm. They...shouldn't be used in conjunction with one another. flushed out from the man's toilet? and shattered the cards that sat in fromt of Alexii. Yes, cards sit. Levitating cards can sit.

"Next I summon the Spear Dragon! Then I attack your facedown." Then he attacks Destiny Hero Defender and loses by default. This teacher is too cocky.

But...what was that face-down card? Must be an illegal Scapegoat token.

And like Mr. Newright had said the counter on Alexii's duel disk showed that he had lost a thousand life points. Putting him at 7000. He was already down and Mr. Newright knew that he wasn't good enough for this. Because, you know, the first attack decides the WHOLE ENTIRE DUEL.

"Me. I draw!" Alexi called. Spock sounds out of character. What a crappy disguise. Alright, Alexii thought, his dragon automatically goes to deffence mode and it doesn't have any points there for I should probably take it out before anything happens. Alexii looked down at his cards, No, his mind shouted, he had drawn one of those cards. He couldn't use, he musn't but the allure of their power called out to him. Wha? He actually put the cards in his deck? No. NO. Spock, don't turn stupid on us! NOOOOO! That's like me saying "No...I won't use Boneheimer" and PUTTING IT INTO MY DECK IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARD.

"I summon Elemental Hero Avion! You mean this?

Because it couldn't be AVIAN, right? It's Spanish for airplane, all right. And I'll have him attack your dragon!"

He placed his cards down and with it appeared a man in a green uniform with large angelic wings. You mean A PLANE. The man then lifted himself into the air with this wings and this bad grammar and Captain Obviousness and aimed his body toward the sitting dragon. Awkward sentence!

"Not so fast! I activate oddly-lowercased (wow, that's a new one) waboku. It cancels your attack."

"What?! Clearly Spock hardly knows a thing about how cheap cards can be. I end my turn."

"To bad. In Cardgamism, when you die if you're bad you go to the aptly-named Bad. therefore, he's technically saying "To hell with this!". RIGHT!?!? I shift my dragon to attack position and then I play the ritual card White oddly-lowercased dragon Ritual, then use it to summon my Paladin of White Dragon from my deck at the cost of a monster from my hand. Then my dragon lord (since when was a paladin a lord by default?) will attack you directly."

His blue dragon first lifted up and sliced up Avion, and took another 900 points out of his life points. Then the white dragon with its oddly-capitalized Paladin riding attackED him again taking out 1900 life points. That left Alexii with 5200, whole his opponet still mantained 8000. What could he do? Oh, I dunno...PULL OUT A XENOMORPH CARD AND WIN WIN WIN!?!?

"I play a SPELL FIELD RIGHT spell! Say hello to Hostile Environment!" His voice grew deeper with a tain What's a tain?

Oh, it's a place in Scotland. He ate it? How could he!?!? in it. His opponet didn't phase, he had no idea what was about to happen. Poor oddly-capitalized Fool! Alexii chuckled to himself, he loved nothing more than introducing new opponents to his monsters. They left scars that wouldn't heal, scars on your mind, they were perfect fighting machines. Err...yyyyeeaaahhh. When that Rayquaza of the Pokemon Trading card Game used its legendary Final Blowup move, I was SO scarred. "Alright," Alexii continued, his voice still sinking deeped into the depths of bad grammar, "This feild sell How'd you get that wrong? subtracts 500 points from every monster on the feild. It also lets me draw two cards."

"Oh that is the biggest mistake you could ever make. Oh you need more commas. Not just in that sentence but in the whole entire story. I am more than powerful enough to handle the likeS of you! Ha. Did I mention I dueled Yugi Motto? Apparently you missed the part where they pronounced it correctly, and zoned out whenever anybody ever said "Moto". Oh and I won! I defeated the Egyptian God Cards using their life force to power the most powerful cards in this game!" Spock is too uber and about to go to Stupidtown. Don't go to Stupidtown, Spock! There's still time! Oh, wait, there's not.

That's basically a 1000 point boost. Uh.

"My turn." Mr. Newright announced.

"I activate my monster's effect and send it to the graveyard so I can summon the Blue Eyes White Dragon!" says the dumb guy across the street. Chancellor Christmastree was too stupid to realize any ol' dummy could summon BEWD. And since you made a new paragraph it MUSTN'T have been one of the main characters.

The sky shifted and heavy white clouds burst into light as a white dragon decended from the heavens. Clouds are heavy? Blue-Eyes is from the heavens? Its attack was 2500 and its deffence was 2000.

"Now," Alexii's opponet continued, "Attack his monster!" And fix your spelling!

"I activate my trap card. Xenomorphioc Strike! Wow. You couldn't even spell Xenomorphic. With it your monster's attack is reduced to zero for the duration of the turn. And your attack is cancelled." Just because cards are cheap doesn't mean they made Spock stupid and mean.

"I guess that means my turn ends here."

Those are good stats. Really? I thought they were terrible! [/sarcasm] Still this one cannot attack until the next turn. But my first one! He is great to attack! That's a great meme, y'know? The first monster that Alexii had summoned spread its wings that it had taken from the spear dragon and lifted into the air. It pried its jaws open meaning it opened its mouth with its hands because they're apparently hard to open and launched a blast of wind from its tummy (CARE BEAR STARE!!!) that hit Mr. Newright. That took his life points down to 5600.

"Now I play Royal Breeding. So I sacrafice SPELL RIGHT my Xenomorphic Drone to summon a more powerful monster. Say an oddly-capitalized Welcome your highness to the all powerful Xenomorphic Queen!" Stop. Making. Us. Greet. Your. Trading cards. It's STOOPID.

Cards never seen before seen here... well...Well what? And Royal Breeding doesn't look much like breeding at all. It's just a head. Maybe there's an egg thingy, but I can't be sure. Royal Head!
