Exiro
Also, Mystery Guest, this is not a discussion about Offerings to the Doomed, like you stated earlier. This is just a quite useless comparison between it and another bad card.
Guest PikaPerson01
Also' date=' Mystery Guest, this is not a discussion about Offerings to the Doomed, like you stated earlier.[/quote'] Pay attention more. It was originally a topic about Offerings to the Doomed. Some guy randomly posted "Hai guiz! Even Tribute to the Doomed is better, and that's horrible!", and the TC decided to roll with it and edited his first post.
RyanAtlus
soul taker > OTTD lightning vortex > TTTD Explain, Mysty. Why even bother discussing them any further after this statement has been made?
Mysty
soul taker > OTTD lightning vortex > TTTD Explain' date=' Mysty. Why even bother discussing them any further after this statement has been made?[/quote'] The last time I posted in this thread was before Tonisanoob posted that. Since I don't have Moderator locking powers or anything, I technically have to let the discussion continue until somebody decides to lock it or it dies out.In my opinion, Offerings to the Doomed maybe, just maybe, has some use based on the fact that it is a chainable Quick-play spell and, therefore, stop Jinzo, DAD, or Judgment Dragon during the turn it is summoned, while Bottomless cannot stop the first one. Dr. Cakey
Offerings to the DoomedPros: Quick-play, No cost, Perfect for Infernity decks (If they existed) and, of course, Reckless GreedCons: Only works on face-up monsters, skipping draw is generally harsher than discarding Tribute to the DoomedPros: Works on face-down monsters, can be used to fill up Graveyard (though there are much better cards)Cons: Not Quick-play, must be able to pay cost It's debatable as to whether or not Soul Taker is better than these two. Lightning Vortex definitely is better, though once again it only works on face-up monsters. On the whole, it seems that Tribute to the Doomed is definitely outclassed, while Offerings to the Doomed still has some uses.
Tabris
Offerings. Faster. The closest YGO has to a nonbanworthy superficial 1-for-1.
