Offerings to the Doomed vs. Tribute to the Doomed [DISC]

Recommended Posts

Fun fact: It's a real old card' date=' but it's newly introduced to TCG.

So is Time Machine.

So is Virus Cannon.

Same with Makiu and Multiply. But as for this card its not bad but i dunno what the point of it is when you have tribute to the doomed which is better in my opinion. But, if you're running LS than i guess this could be good.

Really?

If it's outclassed by Tribute to the Doomed, they this card really shouldn't have been made.

I think so, discarding to destroy 1 monster on the field is better than skipping a draw phase, but, as i said before if you run LS i think it could be useful but if you run anything else that has generic revival in it Tribute to the Doomed is better. The only advantage that offering has to doomed is that it can destroy any card but that's about it.

You just gave me a great idea. I'll turn this thread into a Tribute to the Doomed versus Offerings to the Doomed Thread.

I have the origional Super Rare verson of Tribute to the Doomed.

:]

So do i! ^.^

But' date=' erm... somebody hide this topic from Crab.

Does Tribute to the Doomed's effect count as a cost?

Because it only says "Discard 1 card."

I don't see a "to" there.

I'll research.

I have a super of that to but I also have the origanal holo Poly and three holo Consifacations (Waiting for Konami to slip up and unban it for one format!)

Offerings to the Doomed came out in the fifth booster back. In no way is it "newly introduced to TCG".

rly?

Then I got it wrong.

But i'm right about Virus Cannon and Time Machine.

Virus Cannon was called De-Spell Germ Weapon in TF.

And all the other games.

Look at the alternate' date=' right below the japanese names.

And it's released at CSOC. So is Time Machine.

But Bandit Keith used it against Joey in the anime, and it exists in a lot of YGO games I played.

If your deck doesn't already run cards that let you discard cards while you need to discard cards for your strategy, Tribute to the Doomed is better.

Otherwise, Offerings to the Doomed.

However, if you need to discard cards for your strategy, you should run PWWB/Destruction Preventer/Snipey/whatever. Anything's better than Tribute to the Doomed for discarding.

Lightning Vortex, Raigeki Break, and Phoenix Wing Wind Blast all do it better then Tribute to the Doomed.

Offerings to the Doomed might work after a Reckless Greed chain. That guy who was talking about anti-mill is stupid.
