Removing reps from Banned users

As many of you may know, there has been an abundance of Spammers on YCM. I have unfortunately been the victim of multiple REP abuse attacks by said Spammers. I make this suggestion not for selfish reasons, but for all whom else may have been as unlucky as me.

In short, I suggest that any REP's received from members who are banned temporarily or permanently be removed.

If you need proof to what I'm talking about, you can look at my REP report. Unless it increases drastically because of my REP complaint, or the generosity of my fellow members, it should be relatively low.

I'm not sure if this has been suggested or if it is possible, but I am seriously frustrated over this. Yes I realize it is a website, but it is so unjust.

Yes I considered that too. I believe that to be an alternative option.

I truly see no point in them.

I don't believe there's a plugin for this, and even so, you always have the Rep Complaint Thread.

Well if such an operation is impossible, by all means a mod may lock this whenever.

This most certainly falls under an appropriate use of the Rep Complaint Thread, so I suggest starting there. If, however, you receive no answer there, this would also be an appropriate use of my PM policy, so feel free to send me a message ^_^
