Anti-Noob Card

ComputerWhiz=right. Obviously' date=' if the monster has low ATK, you just DON'T USE IT. Is it really that hard for you to understand? Do you activate Mirror Force when your opponent has 1 monster on the field? Do you activate Cold Wave when your opponent controls no face-downs? Do you play Lightning Vortex when your opponent has a craptastic monster on the field. No. No you don't.

[/quote']

The funniest part is, those cards are used for just that a bunch of the time <<.

Mirror Force = Yes, yes you do, especially when you have a game win set up and need your LP or a monster, or they have a good monster out.

Cold Wave = Yes, to stop them from setting so you can OTK the next turn (i.e. you go first or need a turn)

LV = About the only one you got right, YAY!

You are using situational logic to prove the use of a situational card, which ironically is used situationally. My point is, this card might not be horridly bad, but there are cards that are better in place of it.

Pika would have a great entrance right now...

It seems to me that the circumstances you described are a lot more situational than most cases when it would be a good idea to use Cylinder...

Except that Mirror Force is better to use over Cylinder as it actually destroys the monster. Cold Wave and LV are both used when the opponent has little to nothing on the field.

...And yet you specifically said that you would use Mirror Force when your opponent has 1 monster on the field that's set to win. In that case, Magic Cylinder would be better because if a monster is about to kill you off, it most likely has high stats. In that situation, given a burn strategy, Cylinder could turn that final blow over to your opponent.

I'm not saying this card is better than Mirror Force. I'm just saying it isn't as bad as you're making it out to be, especially in burn decks, which is the only place this card should be used.

But how is this card only good in a burn deck?

IT LETS THE KIDS KNOW THEY ARE TASTY!

Ow wait let me try that again.

It isn't chainable. It's a non-chainable version of Ring of Destruction, right?

Burn Decks don't have the place to run 3 Threatening, that's why they often play this. It's 1 Card that deals over 2000 damage, but as I said before, it's not Chainable.

AND, Burn Decks are Tier 26, and therefore they are allowed to use terribad cards to their advantage.

I find it funny that we are arguing over which is better and neither of us think it is better than Mirror Force... I also never said it was bad, I said there were other cards that are better used over it. Obviously if it is a Burn deck it is good, although everytime I've faced a Burn deck that used Cylinder I win...

...Because n00bs exist for a reason?

Not much people who play good anymore. I swear, at my school, lots of people think they can look through their deck and that shuffling from a card effect is optional. >_>

I hope neither of you mind' date=' burnpsy and Kuroda Naoki, but I decided to make a N00b Cylinder card of my own:

[img']http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/9920/110113a.jpg[/img]

It's based a bit off of Kuroda's idea, so I give credit for the idea to him.

I also give credit to the personwhoArmadilloz who made the picture. I don't know who made it though, I found it by google.

*cough*

Im in high school, so we don't really duel that much, but I managed to get some of my friends into dueling w/o commiting social suicide. 1 of them thinks he can draw whenever he wants more cards. LOL.
