Dismal Euphony
I can't believe the Phillies lost to the Mets today. I'm so mad. The Phillies' pitching staff needs to get their sheet together if we plan on taking the WS again this year. I think the Phillies are going to breeze right through the NLDS, but I fear for the NLCS. I think that match-up is going to be Phillies vs. Giants. The Giants are one tough cookie right now. Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Barry Zito... That's a rough series right there. Dismal Euphony
dude no offense but i'm sticking with the giants The Giants are a great team, but their lack of offense kills them. They don't have anyone that's really that great at the plate other than Pablo Sandoval. And it doesn't help that they're playing in a pitcher-friendly ballpark. Until the Dodgers start F***ing up, the Giants have no chance. Sorry. I have a feeling the Giants are going to clinch the Wildcard though. If the Dodgers play sloppy in the postseason this year like they did last year, the Giants are going to walk all over them in the NLDS. I can't believe the Phillies lost to the Mets today. No offense to you because I don't know you personally, but most Met fans are scumbags. Last season I went to Shea Stadium in September and I had a few Met fans try to dump beer on me and spit on me because I was wearing a Phillies jersey. A rivalry is always fun, but that's just taking it too far. It's just a shame you guys are 16 games under .500 and 18 games out of first. Lol. At the start of the season, all these baseball analysts were all over the Mets saying how they were going to take the WS trophy this year. Better luck next year! Dismal Euphony
oh ok....didn't know that... Then it's Hank Aaron with 755 home runs How did you NOT know about his steroids? It's one of the biggest controversies in baseball history. I don't think Bonds should be the "official" record holder for home-runs, because no one knows for sure how many he would have hit if he never juiced up. But, he should be recognized because it takes bat speed, a good eye, and a level bat to hit the ball out of the ballpark. Steroids only make you hit the ball harder... They can't make you hit the ball.
