~~N00BS!~~ MODS CHECK THIS OUT, MAY COME IN HANDY!

Recommended Posts

[align=center]Hey people, without any further ado lets get to the problem.

Many people do this, when they are in a 1 on 1 contest, they create a new account just to vote for themselves, it happened to me and I really think something should be done about it.

My suggestion: Anyone less than 150 Posts may NOT vote in a contest, to prevent creating new accounts and vote for themselves.

How about just stating in your own contest that you'll only accept votes from 150+ members? There's no reason to crack down on 1 and 2 stars (some of which are good cardmakers), just because a few people are trying to cheat the system.

And I kind of want to know how you know they were double accounting. And that you didn't just lose.

Ironically, all the noobs are supporting this.

Stupid idea is stupid. It's clear enough you don't read the rules, because recently me and Hunter decided to enforce a rule within which people with less than 150 posts (I think) cannot start contests. So, just don't play against people you think will do it, and once you sort of pass the two hundred post mark, you stop double-accounting. Either way, just report the double accounter, they get banned, you win anyway.

This idea is stupid, it punishes all new members for the actions a few who couldn't be bothered to read and follow the rules. If someone double accounts, they get banned for it, there is no need to create another rule to enforce the same thing, but is broader in definition, and so limits member's rights.
