blaze.
At my locals the other day, there was this 10 year old girl who I let win cuz I felt so bad for her, she may have had the worst deck ever. Other than that, I've played a bunch of girls who are better than most people expect, of course, I've never doubted any girls abilities in anything. I know theres alot of things girls can do as good as guys can.

Also girls don't suck at duel monsters' date=' be we do take forever on our turns :), I will give you guys that one.[/quote'] Not the one i played, but i'm pretty sure she knew she was screwed, i actually helped her out by using Legendary Ocean, which allowed her to summon one of those GigagoJesusH.ChristHowManyLettersDoYouWantInThisCard? things and i still beat her. I actually used Altus as a beatstick. She didn't necessarily suck but she didn't have a good deck and the most recent pack she bought was 1 TDGS and CRMS was out at this time. Guest PikaPerson01
best thing about playing girls is you always win as every move they make is always wrong Eh, most girls don't take the time to actually "learn the rules" like some of us. For the most part, don't take a girl lightly just because she's a girl. After all, there's a significantly larger number of horrible male duelists then horrible girl duelists. (Though I'll admit that's just because there are a lot more males then females that play <_<) Eh, each sex has it's own set of terrible duelists. Terribleness isn't an inherently female thing or anything.

Guest PikaPerson01
Alexis is purely fanservice. Not to mention that she's a horrible depiction of a female duelist. I think the closest thing to a badass moment she had was when she beat that Shadow Rider guy, and even then it wasn't all that great. I think it'd be cool for the next series after 5D's to feature a female protagonist...

Dweller of Parables
Of course there are female duelists its a card game for anyone of any gender and age to play. Yugioh girls: They don't really play, but they like to collect cards to stash away and in a blue moon take them out to "play" with by seeing the poor art yugioh has to offer. MTG girls: there really isn't much to love for a girl since there is no "manga" based characters in that style of "art" so they either like the concept and have fun/play or have "tits or Gtfo" thrown at them. OmegaWave
An opponent is an opponent... gender is not of importance. This. Random tidbit of info: A couple months ago at locals I went up against a girl who used Lightsworns. It was the first time I ever saw Lightsworn so I thought she was just stupid.....she owned me with Judgment Dragon....I felt so ashamed. Moral of the story: Girls do play. Girls do win. Also girls don't suck at duel monsters' date=' be we do take forever on our turns :), I will give you guys that one.[/quote'] Don't worry there are male duelists like that too. In fact, I believe it was during the Duelist genesis sneak preview when i dueled an approximately 17 year old boy who used a Gladiator Beast deck. Every one of his battle Phases must have lasted an average of 5 minutes; the attacks only took about 20 seconds tops - the rest of the time was him deciding what to Tag-out Summon next. The official tournament of the Sneak Preview was starting soon and people told him that he would have to sign up soon or else he wouldn't be able to enter the tournament. He wanted to finish his duel with me first. Somehow we finished the duel in time for him to enter the tournament. I don't remember if I won. All i know is that, if I did win, I won using Avenging Knight Parshath. It doesn't matter if your opponent is a boy or a girl. Duel them with the best of your ability either way. That is your proof of being a real duelist. It is also called being respectful of your opponent's skills.

I honestly hope that her deck wouldn't be Fairies or anything "girly" like the gist of the female characters, i think Akiza was the first Female character that wasn't just there to look sexy, she was also there to be mind raped by Divine and break-face with Plants. But, if you thought Alexis was a bad depiction of a Female Duelist, look at Tea, seriously her deck is like the ones that half the people at the ANPR sneak preview got stuck using. (Mostly crap, pointless and probably the first cards you didn't want to see in the TCG.)

RyanAtlus
I must be the luckiest son of a b**** ever...... theres a chick with like double D's who plays yugimonz and pokemon at my school.... mostly pokemon but still Personally' date=' I find that very distracting.“Don’t look directly at her cleavage. It’ll suck you in like a black hole!” A girl's not gonna hop into bed with you just because you both play Duel Monsta's. Of course not. Card Game Stores haven’t got a bed! :pI was lucky enough to get invited by the only 2 DMG cosplaying girls in Belgium to join them for a cosplay event. Which sucks, because now I’ll have to learn how to cosplay in 1 month. "What! There are no WOMEN in Yugioh! There are only extremely girly men! And I'm the girliest of them all!" "Keep telling yourself that" EPIC. Alexis is purely fanservice. Not to mention that she's a horrible depiction of a female duelist. In America.Mai was also fanservice, and so is Akiza. Most of the girls I've met play Lightsworn, and Counter Fairies. They don't seem to like DARK much. crimsonwendy
Girls play. Usally when you play a males you can read them like books, but females are much harder to read. I have friends play for fun. We have a little group of 4 females and 5 males. Lisa is a supper duelist with her Twighlight deck.
DesCrow
90% of the female duelists I have played eithera)suckb)have greasy hairc)only play with their favorite cardsd)only play because of the animee)all of the above Don't get me wrong, I have faced fair to good female duelists, but most that I have personally run into aren't...well...you know If a REALLY hot girl got good a yugioh she could win worlds by being distracting and seductive. I summon Cyber (licks lips) Dragon (high pitched and cute)It would be the ultimate mind hax

With people judging female duelists like that, they could just play along until they have you right where they want you.

-Griffin
The sexism in this thread disappoints me, it also seems that a lot of guys here are weak-minded enough to let any vaugely attractive girl change the way they play. =/
