-Griffin
Ok, the lockdown requires you to get two weak tribute monsters out, one who can't be SS'd and self-bounces, so you need returning tribute fodder, and a field spell? With all the set-up this needs, it's probably a 5/6 card inconsistent lockdown.(3 posted, +tribute fodder for each and way to keep them both around)Sorry, don't see this working =/
Tabris
Of course, Great Long Nose. Still, a rather soft, easy-to-counter lock at best.

Toffee.
+Rep for a combo using Great Long Nose And for the record, Timeater can, in fact, skip a whole turn. You just have to use it right.

-Griffin
Doesn't Thunder of Ruler or something skip the BP? It's only once, but that's still skipping a whole turn, very powerful move.

「tea.leaf」
It'd be incredibly easy if you could force Garden onto your opponent's field.

I'll give you Gilasaurus, but considering every other turn your opponent gets their MP2 (or perhaps even the MP1 if you don't summon), it might not be all that great. Exiro
Can somebody explain me what advantage skipping Main Phase 1 and the Battle Phase has over just skipping the Battle Phase?
burnpsy
Can somebody explain me what advantage skipping Main Phase 1 and the Battle Phase has over just skipping the Battle Phase? Simple, skipping MP1 & the Battle Phase disallows MP2, going directly from Standby Phase to End Phase. Basically, your opponent has no choice but to be all "I Draw, your move", unless they get a quick-play spell that can get them out of it, but what can do that? Anyways, isn't there a card that stops Spirits from bouncing themselves?

burnpsy
...wouldn't a combo like this carry Vortex? Scapegoat will only work if they don't have it at the time. As for MST, good point.
The Dark Megacyber
Level 5? For the combo really to work well you should use Cost Down and/or Double Summon.

If the opponent has an empty field, and loses thare Mainphase 1, then they cannot enter thare Battlephase nor can they enter Mainphase 2. They can only enter the End Phase, which will result in a while turn skip. Timeater's effect may be rediculously situational for it's effect to gain the full benefit of it, but its worth it(?)
