@ Lex: A Mary Sue is a character that is 'doted upon' by the author. Such a character, if good, is often compared to the other characters to show just how kind or sincere etc. they are. And vice versa, an evil Mary Sue is compared to emphasise their dark traits. After a while, it becomes intolerable, because the story starts to revolve around said character, rendering the other characters pointless.

A good example is Jaden from YGO GX. He is continually shown to be the light and while all the other characters have several flaws (Chazz is arrogant, Bastion is condescending, Alexis is despairing over her brother, Syrus has personal problems and Zane becomes consumed by his lust for power), Jaden has to be possessed by Yubel in order to turn evil.

In addition, only one person manages to actually beat him during the whole series. He is clearly the writer's favorite and it makes the show very difficult to watch since almost every problem is solved by Jaden using one of his signature cards while the other characters look on are have already been beaten. To a lesser extent, Yusei also fits the profile.

My problem is that I'm unsure how to portray Hiro's utter hatred of Aki without making him either cliched or an evil Mary Sue. The solution would be to give more time to the other Signers and Dark Signers, but I want to explore the depths of Hiro's psyche.

It's about 30 seconds in when I gave up' date=' mainly because of Luna's (Ruka's) voice. If someone actually speaks like that in real life they have problems.

@Max: Ah, thanks Max. I was wondering about that. Thanks for the picture, it finishes off the set I made for the 1on1. I made three cards and used them for my 1on1 b/c that was the rules, yet I virtually ended up making the 4 cards and couldn't use the last one, b/c 3 was the max, which was my rulings. But I couldn't make the fourth card until i could find a fitting picture, and I continued to look and look and couldn't find one, so, I owe you a huge gratitude, thank you.

Also, would you come vote, you can vote for either persons, just want to get it done.

@lexadin: I'm a shepperd? what in the world makes you think that. I'm a handyman, it seems like that is. I'm a person that does really anything that needs done, wherever I work at. So, no, I'm not a shepperd, i just do what my boss tells me to do, you see.

@ Clair: It was 4Kids' attempt at dubbing the final Shadow Turbo Duel.

What do you think of this fan-fic idea? I want to work the "Wicked Gods" into my latest fic.

The Gottliche Bediensteten]

(lit. Divine Servants) An ancient clan founded to revive the "Wicked Gods". It is split into three sects, each dedicated to the use of one of the wicked trio. All three sects have four members, each using a signature card. The three lower members all use a member of an archetype that relates to the "Wicked God", while the leader uses the dark god itself.
Maschine Kaiser]

Translated as the 'Machine Emperors', this group is dedicated to the worship of the so-called perfect machine "The Wicked Avatar", a device that can not only flawlessly replicate its target, but also raise its strength above the original. Led by the arrogant Karsten, who revels in the fact he controls the god at the top of the heirachy, this is probably the most dedicated sect due to its members' lust for power.
Drachen-Corps]

The 'Dragon Force' are the oldest, but also most isolated sect; having lost some faith in their god. As a result, "The Wicked Eraser" (the ultimate dark dragon) has removed some of their self-control, causing the quad, especially their leader Zachary to fly into destructive rages and be filled with contempt for their opponent. Eventually, all four are consumed by the evil deity to fuel its rebirth.
Damon Konige]

This is the newest sect, due to the recent unearthing of "The Wicked Dreadroot". All the members were chosen by the dark god due to their destructive and clouded pasts. As such, they are prone to despair, which feeds their monsters, all representations of hell and the underworld. Their leader Elisa, although controlled by the wicked god, believes that her life couldn't have improved and draws some happiness from her situation.

Thank you, sorry for the wait, but the end of the thunderstorm came and was fierce, so i went to wait it out in the basement. But its all over now, moved on by, well, most of it. But I guess I will have to ask him to do it for me then, thank you. And do you want to see my card before I put it on the Realistic thread?

Well, its starting to clear up, but the tail is my worry.

@Death Seeker: Nuttin much, so where have you been hiding out, Death Seeker Delano, i haven't heard from you in awhile, except for your contest thing.

@Max: I need your help, some are having a caniption fit over a Synchro Gemini I rigged up. So I figured maybe you can tell that it is probably way overpowered now and I can go back to its underpowered effect. The link is right here,

I hope it works, the link that is.

@ XzY:

2 Tuners + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters (1.)

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Synchro Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with the following effect:

During each of your End Phases, increase this cards ATK and DEF by 800. (2.) Once per turn, you can destroy two cards OR add 2 cards from your Deck to your hand. (3.) When this card is destroyed and removed from the field, you can pay 2000 Life points to Special Summon it to your Side of the Field or Give control of it to your opponent. (4.)

1. Special Summon "Cyber Dragon"/"The Tricky", then Normal Summon "Junk Synchron" + Special Summon a Level 2 Tuner. A couple of turns later, use either "Monster Reincarnation" to reclaim "Junk Synchron" and then tune with another tuner and a Level 5 Synchro monster. In a dedicated Synchro Deck, a Level 10 is not too difficult to summon, especially if given three or four turns to build up resources.

2. By the end of the first turn, you've got 3800 ATK and DEF. Turn two, 4600 ATK and DEF (by this point only the ultimate Fusions and Effects can kill it.) and if you can keep it on the field for a third turn, 5400 ATK and DEF. If you keep it from destruction, not even the "Cyber Dragon" Fusions will be powerful enough to stop it. That much ATK gain per turn is incredibly overpowered.

3. Every turn, you can add two cards from your Deck to your hand without cost, meaning that once you have this on the field, not only do you have a monster that quickly becomes a broken battering ram, you can easily pull off any other strategy too quickly for the opponent to respond. You are drawing three cards per turn, and two of them are not random. It's just stupid.

4. So, if your opponent manages to blow it up, you can then simply pay 2000 LP to get a 3000 ATK beatstick back to the field. It's only a matter of time until you have the materials to Gemini Summon it and finish your opponent off for good. And why would you want to give control to your opponent? It makes no sense.

Overall, your Synchro Gemini Summon mechanic seems difficult, but with the huge amount of Synchro Support Konami has released, it has been made a lot easier to pull off very rapid Synchro Summons. As a result, a dedicated Synchro Deck could only need a pair of turns to re-build the materials needed and activate this card's effect, turning it into the broken warhorse it is.

It's a beatstick offering draw power, field clearing, and cheap revival. Four postive effects(!) Most Geminis have one or at most two positive effects, and they can be more draining on their Deck to abuse than this. And of course, there's always "Superalloy Beast Raptinus"...

Max:

Okay, here some things I want to ask.

1st: Don't the mechanics you have make it so if you make it a normal monster, it cannot be in the Extra Deck, so therefore it wouldn't count as a synchro monster. So that is why i had it as a Normal Synchro, so it would be known, and say Synchro Effect as is.

2nd: The giving control of it is lets say you can't pay the cost, so you give it to your opponent and basically, with the mechanics, you must give it to your opponent, I would believe, I might be wrong on that, though.

3rd: I do believe it is still way overpowered, but yet I still don't think it could be, unless I used 3 Tuners, but I don't want to do that, but I can change the effect a little bit. So I was wondering, is it overpowered?

1st: Any monster without an effect is counted as a Normal Monster, so "Birthright" can summon any Normal monster, including Fusion and Synchro monsters. You don't need to specify a 'Normal Synchro' monster since the card itself is already a Synchro.

2nd: So it's pay 2000 LP, or give it to your opponent, or leave it in your Graveyard? Still makes no sense to give it your opponent.

3rd: Is this card overpowered?(!)

"It's a beatstick offering draw power, field clearing, and cheap revival."

and it's a Synchro. You can't get more broken than that.
