I hate Newbs on YN -.- he was using a 57 card Cloudian <.< my friend's clouds are way harder than this idiot

and by Newb i mean a NEWB DUELIST not a Newb to the site

 

he give up the 1st round when it just started because he said he had not monsters to attack with because i terminated his eye of typhoon and only took out 2200 LP from him

 

Round 2:

i was drawing nothing but Trap cards <.<

opponent plays 1 card facedown and a mother grizzly

starting hand: Snake whistle limit reverse, mirror force, threatening roar x2

draws: ANOTHER Threatening roar

sets mirror force and threatening roar ends

opponent draws: summons acid cloud ends

draws: Offering to the snake deity ends

than a cycle of draw ends and i draw 2 more offering to the snake deitys and another snake whistle( i set cards to keep from discarding)

opponent summons mobius targets mirror force and threatening roar. chains the threatening roar he targeted and does this for 2 more turns.

on my 3rd threatening roar he tries to use MST thinking its negates card effects i tell him it can't. He says ok and puts it back in his hand

than drew 2 Viper's rebirths -.- still no monsters during this.

than after that i draw Brain control i play brain control.

 

THEN HE TRIED TO PLAY MST FROM HIS HAND DURING MY FLIPPING TURN <.< and i tell him he cant do that and tell him MST doesn't negate it.

He says he cant than copy pastes MST's effect <.< and i'm like it does not flipping negate the activation and you can't play quickplay from your hand during your opponent's turns anyways

 

so i tell him again to give me his mobius

 

than he Disconnects -.- this guy seriously ticks me off

I don't know HOW many times I have had the MST doesn't negate argument with my friend. Then I had the Quick Play Spell card argument, but at least he listened to me. He listened, so I was fine, but it's very annoying to duel someone who doesn't listen. It's happened multiple times with another kid. He doesn't seem to understand that DESTROY and NEGATE are two different things.

this why Premade decks you play have a rulebook <.< they need to read it and also need to learn that destroying does not NEGATE ANYTHING unless

 

A)its continuos card than of duh you don't get the effect because it has to face-up on the field

B)the card says NEGATE AND DESTROY on the same flipping card
