Lord Ursus
I will not publish this novel here. It will be written privately by me when I have the time, and hopefully a publisher will deem it worthy of publishing. I will of course inform you all were that to happen. Inspired as I am of Harry Potter, the main characters will have extraordinary powers, but not in a way ever used before. I am also sick and tired of prophecies, so that will not be included. I'll be glad to have your support as I go along. :)
Max Darkness
@ Ursus: Don't fall into the trope of having 'X number of [insert adjective here] things', because that will dictate what you can do. I like the idea of pushing the envelope. I'd like to see a fantasy novel with as few overused ideas. @ Xand: What do you mean? As in, what Dark Synchros are, how they're summoned and general strength levels? Because I could easily do that here in a spoiler.
Xand
@Max: Yes(plz) to all three!!! Except that the page glich is affecting my computer so you would have to PM me in order for me to get it. :D
Max Darkness
All you need to do is go to the first page and click 'Post Reply'. Then you can see the last twenty posts, ie the posts you're interested in. As for the Dark Synchro explaination:
Origins]Dark Synchro monsters are an anime-exclusive set of monsters that are the opposites of Synchro monsters. Unique in that they have negative levels, they provide a perfect antithesis to the Level-gaining effects of Synchros and Tuners. In the anime, they were created by the King of the Underworld as counterparts to the Five Signer Dragons. (The "Earthbound Immortals" were his original creation, but he designed a second wave of force with the advent of Synchro monsters) As such, most are DARK and have effects that either deal with the Graveyard or brutally beating down your opponent.
How they are Summoned]As explained above, Dark Synchros are unique in that they have negative Levels. This is obtained with their corresponding Dark Tuner monsters (the evil versions of Tuner monsters). The Dark Tuner's Level is subtracted from the Level of a non-Tuner monster (while a Tuner's Level is added to the non-Tuner's), thus giving a negative Level. For that purpose, almost all Dark Tuners are high in Level, being at least Level 6 and reaching to Level 10, so they require Tributes, which makes a Dark Synchro Summon harder to set up than a Synchro Summon. To compensate, Dark Tuners usually have effects that Special Summon non-Tuner materials or severely damage your opponent when they are used for a Dark Synchro Summon. (Examples include "Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand" which Special Summons a Level 2 DARK monster from your hand or Graveyard when Normal Summoned and "Dark Tuner Catasrogue" who mills 5 cards from your opponent's Deck when used.) As detailed, the Dark Tuner's Level is subtracted from the non-Tuner's Level, (e.g. "Infernity Dwarf" - "Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand" = "One-Hundred Eye Dragon" or 2 - 10 = -8) summoning the Dark Synchro monster.
Effects and Abilities]Dark Synchros are usually stronger than their Synchro counterparts and much stronger than monsters with comparable Levels (ie comparing -4 to 4). Two examples are the higher-Level Dark Synchro monsters, "Freezing Fitzgerald" and "Dark Diviner". The former re-summons itself when destroyed by battle, prevents your opponent from activating Spells and Traps when it attacks, and if it re-summons itself, it destroys the monster that destroyed it. A Level 5 monster that has half the effect (the lockdown of Spells and Traps) and a similar destructive effect is "Ancient Gear Engineer" with 1500 ATK and DEF. "Freezing Fitzgerald" has 2500 ATK and DEF, enough to defeat the "Monarchs" and all Level 5 Synchro monsters. "Dark Diviner" cannot be destroyed by battle and when attacked by a monster with higher ATK, reduces that monster's ATK to 2000 (It's own ATK) and sends cards from its opponent's Deck equal to the ATK lost divided by 100. It also has 2000 ATK and DEF, which are equal and better to the Level 4 Normal monsters, and it dwarfs most Effect monsters of that Level. Those two aside, most Dark Synchros have effects that manipulate the Graveyard, beat-down your opponent or activate on their destruction. Also, by the time you've reached Level -8, their stats are almost equal to Level 8 Normal monsters; it's their effects that provide the main force. "One-Hundred Eye Dragon" selects a Level 6 or lower DARK Effect monster in your Graveyard and gains its effect until the End Phase and when it's destroyed, it adds an "Earthbound Immortal" monster to its owner's hand. Xand
Hmm...I don't thing I would want to use them. Thx for the information though that helps alot. XD
Max Darkness
They'd only be truly workable in an "Earthbound Immortal" Deck, in which you have a spare "Double Coston" and a face-up "Ultimate Offering".

Shadow Zero
Well tails is not really the attacking type, and is more like a support character. Greetings Gemini Wolf. I am Shadow Zero. As to your card, perhaps you could make it as an effect monster with some type of effect that supports other monsters? It's not that I don't like the card, I make a few normal monsters myself. However, the vast majority of YCM (at least insofar as I am aware) frowns upon normal type monsters.
Gemini Wolf
If you've played the games as much as I have........ Yeah tails has very high defense...So.... how bout this card?

DeathSDelano
@Death Seeker- Delano: O...K....hmm...its not bad but its kind of random. Can you tell me what it is? its just an image i made from playing around i call it Spirit of Masks (do the fact that it kinda looks like an evil spirit w/ many masks) heres a card with the image OCG fixes are welcome
When this card is Summoned add 1 card that includes "Mask" in its name from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. This card is unaffected by the effects of Equip Cards. For each Equip Card on this card increase this cards ATK by 400. Once per turn, you send 1 Equip Card on this card to the graveyard to destroy 1 Spell or Trap card your opponent controls.
Max Darkness
@ Gemini: The first card has far too high stats for a Level 4 Normal. All non-Tribute Normals have one high stat and one very low stat. So it's either a 1700/500 or a 200/2000 ATK/DEF monster. Also, 'beast-warrior' should be 'Beast-Warrior'. Stop making Vanillas. @ Xand: Why round it? 1850 is an acceptable ATK value. (So is 1830 technically...) @ DS-D: I like it but I think it could be utilised in a better way than a generic Equip-eater. Here's my version of it. Effect: When this card is Tribute Summoned, add 1 "Mask" card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. While this card is equipped with an Equip Spell Card, it gains 400 ATK. When this card is equipped with an Equip Spell Card, you can apply the effect to a face-up monster your opponent controls instead. During your Main Phase, you can destroy 1 card equipped to this card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls. If this card would be destroyed by battle, you can destroy 1 card equipped to this card. If you do, it is not. (Damage calculation is applied normally.) I prefer a manipulative "Mask" card because their effects usually have unexpected twists. So I'd prefer this high-level "Mask" card to be able to equip its kin but then throw the effect to your opponent.

Max Darkness
@ DS-D: If you post that "Spirit of the Masks" card, feel free to use this group of support cards (I'm not using them): http://i49.tinypic.com/a3czh0.jpg' alt='a3czh0.jpg'> http://i45.tinypic.com/2duxe77.jpg' alt='2duxe77.jpg'> http://i50.tinypic.com/25g7zw1.jpg' alt='25g7zw1.jpg'> Effect: Once per turn, you can remove 1 Equip Spell Card in your Deck from play to have this card gain the effect of the removed card. If the removed card was a "Mask" card, inflict 500 damage to your opponent OR pick up the top card of your Deck. If that card is a Spell or Trap Card, Set it on the field. If that card is a Monster Card, send it to the Graveyard. If this card is equipped to "Spirit of the Masks", "Masked Beast Des Gardius" or "The Masked Beast", it gains the following effect: * Each time a "Mask" Spell or Trap Card is activated. send the top card of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard OR return 1 "Mask" card from your Graveyard to your Deck. This was modified to accomodate your card. @ Whamo: Please make more sense. @ DarkMark and Necro: When you guys are on, please post the thread and give me the conditions respectively.
