Max Darkness
That's what "DNA Transplant" is for. @ Whamo/Anyone interested: Here's the first part of the short fic I wrote between Daichi Kaiba and Jack Atlas.
1. Destiny Shows Itself]The stadium was dimly lit; most of the lighting was destroyed during the fall of Kaiba Corp. A lone D-Wheel sidled in, its lights piercing the darkness. The motorcycle was the Wheel of Fortune, rode by Jack Atlas, once the King of Neo Domino. The man stepped of the vehicle and looked around, remembering his past glories where he was cheered for, and his victory seemed like a certainty. Yusei had changed that of course, and his defeats in the World Riding GP had taught him that success in a duel required more than just power. As the minutes passed, he became more impatient, waiting for his opponent to arrive. The rumble of a D-Wheel engine betrayed the other duelist’s arrival. Jack looked over his shoulder as the light-blue dragon-themed bike cruised onto the circuit. “Daichi.” Jack stated, without emotion.“So you came.” Replied the young man, with a similarly lifeless voice.“Of course! My pride wouldn’t allow me to go against my word!”“I’m surprised your arrogance hasn’t killed you yet. But that’s beside the point. This is more important than simple pride.” The man’s tone changed, becoming more serious. “Gozaburo set up Kaiba Corp as a way of crafting destiny. And it did that with distinction. Battle City, Duel Academy and the Fortune Cup all set in motion the events that shaped the world today. But what do we do now it’s gone?”“We grasp life ourselves!” shouted Jack, becoming aggressive.“Fanciful thinking I’m afraid. Destiny controls everything. It was destiny that claimed your parents; and destiny that destroyed my family’s company. We have no say in what happens.”“Then duel me and find out!” Jack retorted.“Indeed. You know what we plan to determine. Then let’s see if destiny can be stopped.” Daichi solemnly declared before re-starting his D-Wheel’s engine and moving to the start line. Jack joined him, both setting Speed World 2 and revving their engines. The lights counted down and the two engines screamed in unison as the pair raced to the first corner. Daichi’s more streamlined motorcycle gave him the edge as they turned the corner.
Nathanael D. Striker
Hey guys. Nice cards Max. For a suggestion on the front page, we could have a spot for Sweet's memorial card and another spot for a weekly (or monthly) N.D.L. card review by you. Who likes that idea?
Headmaster Monokuma
I like the idea, but I don't know. It's up to Max. Also, look at one of my newer cards.
Card Lore?: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by it's own effect. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. If this card is sent from your Hand to the Graveyard it is Special Summoned to your side of the Field. If this card attacks the opponent directly inflict damage equal to the number of cards in their hand x100.
Max Darkness
@ Striker: I'll think about it. @ Dark: This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by its own effect. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. If this card is sent directly from your hand to the Graveyard by a card effect, Special Summon it to your side of the field. When this card attacks your opponent directly, inflict damage to them equal to the number of cards in their hand x 100. And Part 2.
2. The Fabled Deck]Turn 1 Daichi “I’ll start this. Draw.” The young man said, still in the same dry tone. “I activate Speed Spell-Ancient Rules, Special Summoning the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand to the field.” The legendary dragon roared as it rose into the sky, glaring at its opponent. Jack’s eyes widened as he saw the monster for the first time.“So, you have the fabled Kaiba Deck?” Jack quickly asked.“Yes, but a Turbo version of it, along with my own modifications. After all, I am stopping fate with this fight.” Daichi replied. “I set one card and end my turn.” Jack “When my opponent only controls monsters, I can Special Summon this card. Come forth, Vice Dragon!” The purple dragon appeared and Diachi’s dragon’s eyes clearly narrowed, eyeing its new foe. “Now, I Normal Summon Dark Resonator in Attack Position!” The ruler's heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power! Synchro Summon! My very soul, Red Dragon Archfiend! The Signer dragon appeared, cloaked in flames. Blue-Eyes screeched, seeming to sense a strong foe. “I place two cards face-down!” Jack finished. Turn 2 Daichi “Draw. I activate Speed Spell-Angel Baton. When I have 2 or more Speed Counters, I draw 2 cards and discard 1. I send my Trap Card Miniaturise to the Graveyard. Next, I activate Speed Spell-Advanced Ritual. By tributing monsters whose total Levels equal or exceed a Ritual monster’s, I can summon that Ritual monster.” Daichi looked at the card he was to sacrifice, suddenly looking sorrowful. Jack, following closely behind, caught his hesitation, but had no idea to what caused it. “I sacrifice the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand to Ritual Summon my Paladin of White Dragon!” Graced with the body of the fearsome dragon, strike my foes with its power! Ritual Summon! Knight of the Pure, Paladin of White Dragon! “Now, Blue-Eyes attacks Red Dragon Archfiend!” Daichi ordered.“Their points are the same! You wouldn’t throw your dragon away like that!” Jack cried as his own dragon began a counterattack, its fists glowing with power.“No, you’re completely right.” Daichi replied. “I activate my face-down Power of the Fallen Light. With this card, my Blue-Eyes gains 400 ATK for each LIGHT monster in my Graveyard whose Level is the same. At the moment, one monster fulfils that role, my second Blue-Eyes.” The white dragon reared as its eyes shone white, blazing with energy. (ATK: 3000 → 3400) Its attack intensified, obliterating Red Dragon Archfiend. (Jack LP: 4000 → 3600) “You’ve just quickened your defeat!” shouted Jack as he burst out of the dust cloud created by his monster’s destruction.“Hmm?” Questioned Daichi “Never mind. Paladin, attack him directly!”“I activate Powered Rebirth! This Special Summons my Red Dragon Archfiend with 500 more ATK!” Once again the crimson dragon arose, now trailing energy. “In that case, I cancel the battle and activate my Paladin’s effect. I can tribute it to Special Summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my Deck.” The knight vanished into a blue haze before being replaced with a second Blue-Eyes, identical to the first. I set 1 card and end. Jack “Draw!”“You of course now take 1000 damage due to your Powered Rebirth trap.” Jack groaned as a red energy surrounded him (Jack LP: 3600 → 2600).“It’s nothing! Red Dragon Archfiend, destroy the first Blue-Eyes! Absolute Powerforce!” The empowered dragon threw its claw towards its enemy, ready to strike it down.“I activate External Peace!” Daichi quickly countered. “Now, neither of us can activate Spells or Traps until the end of this turn, and no monsters can be destroyed by battle.” The Archfiend’s attack hit, slashing the white dragon. (Daichi LP: 4000 → 3500)“I set one card and end my turn.”

Max Darkness
@ Whamo: Thanks, and for you, part 3.
3. Ultimate Power!]Turn 3 Daichi Daichi looked behind him at the seething red dragon, knowing that if he was to fight the Crimson Dragon and destiny, he would have to destroy that symbol of fate first. “I draw and summon the All-Seeing Oceana. Its effect allows me to remove from play a card in my Graveyard to gain the effect of a face-up card my opponent controls. I remove my Power of the Light trap to gain the effect of your Powered Rebirth Trap Card. And with it I revive my Blue-Eyes White Dragon!” The third and final Blue-Eyes flew high in triumph, coated in the same energies as Red Dragon Archfiend, and now with equal ATK power. “But I’m going to allow the strongest light to fight destiny head-on! I activate the second effect of my All-Seeing Oceana. By removing three cards of a different type from my Graveyard, I can draw three cards.” He drew and activated one of the drawn cards. “I activate Speed Spell-Speed Fusion. By sending fusion material monsters to my Graveyard, I can Fusion Summon a monster from my Extra Deck, allowing me to summon the perfect incarnation of radiance!” Born of the legendary trio, become unstoppable with strength to change history and fate! Fusion Summon! Forever victorious, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon! Jack was in shock as the near-mythical card was played. Having not been played since it was owned by Seto Kaiba, almost no-one in Neo Domino had seen the card, let alone the monster itself. Descending from a sphere of light, Jack had to shield his eyes as the brightness became unbearable. Then, before him, it looked down on him and roared. With this summoning, Daichi’s mood changed. He now looked aggressive, no longer reserved. And Jack finally understood. To Daichi, the Blue-Eyes dragons were the symbol of his family’s fight against destiny, the way they had stood against fate. And Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon was the pinnacle of that. One of the strongest monsters in the game, and the trump card of the original Kaiba Deck, it was the very essence of changing your life. Jack now knew this successor to the original would fight with everything to force his victory. “Battle! Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon attacks Red Dragon Archfiend! Total Destruction!” The three-headed dragon showed no mercy as it aimed and fired.“I activate my face-down Assault Mode Activate!” shouted Jack. “By tributing my Red Dragon Archfiend, I can Special Summon my Red Dragon Archfiend /Assault Mode!” The re-armoured monster replaced its counterpart, taking the other dragon’s blast. “Assault Mode Activate prevents the summoned monster from being destroyed by battle during this turn.” Explained Jack, squinting though the glaring light. (Jack LP: 2600 → 1600).“I set 2 cards and end my turn.” Daichi finished, clearly annoyed. “I now activate my Assault Slash trap, destroying all the monsters on the field!” Daichi’s eyes widened as a golden shockwave formed between his monster and Jack’s; before exploding and tearing through the pair. The young man watched as his monster collapsed in flames. “When an Assault Mode monster is destroyed, I can Special Summon its counterpart from the Graveyard. Be revived! Red Dragon Archfiend! Now, attack Daichi directly!” The dragon lunged towards the smoke cloud surrounding Daichi. Before it could reach him however, a Blue-Eyes White Dragon flew out of the cloud, screeching at the opposing dragon. “How?!” Asked Jack, astonished at the dragon’s re-appearance.“My Fusion Legacy trap.” Replied Daichi as the smoke cleared. “When my Ultimate Dragon was destroyed, it Special Summoned one of the original Blue-Eyes White Dragons to my side of the field.”

Max Darkness
@ Whamo: Perhaps, but not in this duel. @ Lex: Thanks! And here's the final part.
4. Crushing Destiny] Jack Jack knew that in order to win he would have to end the duel during this turn. No doubt his opponent would find ways of reviving his most powerful monster. When he thought of this, a power he recognised flowed through him. The power of the Crimson Dragon. The power of destiny. The card on the top of his Deck glowed a golden colour as he drew. “Draw!” The Mark of the Dragon on his arm shone brightly as he summoned the card. “Come forth, Majestic Dragon! I activate the effect of the Power Core in my hand. By discarding it, I can make its Level count for a Synchro Summon.” Majestic Dragon glowed with strength as it tuned with Red Dragon Archfiend. Polished, lone light! Become the true high-ruler and illuminate the earth! Shine your light! Synchro Summon! Creation-shaking soul, Majestic Red Dragon! The servant of the Crimson Dragon appeared from a gold-red light, consuming Jack’s D-Wheel. “Majestic Red Dragon’s effect; it negates an opponent’s monster’s effect and gains ATK equal to that monster! Power Gain!” Majestic Red Dragon launched a red beam that engulfed Daichi’s Blue-Eyes, sealing it in a blood-coloured aura. (M.R.D. ATK: 4000 → 7000) “Now, behold destiny striking you down! Ultimate Powerforce!” The heavenly dragon shot forwards, lancing towards Daichi’s stricken monster. Daichi’s eyes widened, before narrowing as his determination showed itself. “I activate my face-down card, Pure Dragon’s Eidolon! By removing from play one Blue-Eyes monster in my Graveyard when my opponent attacks with a monster with more than 5000 ATK, I can increase the ATK of a Blue-Eyes monster I control by an amount equal to the removed monster!” Now locked on course, Majestic Red Dragon soared rapidly, picking up speed. Inside the dragon, Jack gritted his teeth, not knowing what to except. “I…” Daichi hesitated, knowing what he was about to do. “I remove my Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon from play to increase my Blue-Eyes White Dragon’s ATK by 4500!” (Blue-Eyes ATK: 3000 → 7500) Blue-Eyes White Dragon glowed with a glorious luster before breaking free of the aura and firing a beam of lightning at the incoming dragon. As the two attacks collided, Jack was engulfed in white light. Looking around him, he saw cracks appearing in his own dragon’s body. Outside, Daichi watched as his dragon’s attack tore at Majestic Red Dragon, ripping off its wings before slowly destroying its form. Inside, Jack saw his dragon break apart and collapse and his D-Wheel fell to the track as his trump card disintegrated; coming to rest behind him, throwing up a dust plume. Accelerating to come level with Daichi, Jack looked across. Daichi was smiling, almost insanely. “What? Remember, your trap negates any damage from that battle, so my life points are safe.”“Yes, but it doesn’t negate this!” shouted Daichi, revealing his final card. “Revenge of the Mighty can only be activated when a Level 8 or higher monster was destroyed. And with it, both of us take damage equal to half its original ATK!” Jack could only manage a shocked expression as a pair of lightning bolts shot down and struck both D-Wheels, before howling at the pain. (Daichi LP: 3500 → 1500) (Jack LP: 1600 → 0) Jack was thrown off his D-Wheel by the impact, rolling into one of the circuit’s walls. Daichi dismounted and, looking down at his opponent, spoke briefly; “Jack, it’s time to change the future. Time to defeat destiny!” Bleeding, and slightly concussed, Jack struggled to stand up. In front of him stood Daichi, with a face eerily similar to Seto Kaiba’s; a look of supreme confidence; one of a man who believes he can twist fate to his own means. This man truly was the successor of the Blue-Eyes Deck.

Lord Ursus
I'm enjoying the fic, Maximus. Speaking of fics, I've written 4 pages on the newest chapter now. Max Darkness
@ Ursus: I'd call that enough for two chapters. @ Lex: I know! It's good when Jack crashes. @ Anyone: I realised I never posted "Power Core"; here it is: Effect: This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material monster, except for the Synchro Summon of a Level 7 or higher Synchro monster. If this card would be used as a Synchro Material monster for the Synchro Summon of a Level 9 or higher Synchro monster, you can discard this card as 1 of the monsters required for the Synchro Summon.
