@Max Darkness: Garchomp. Salamence may have more balanced Sp. Atk. and Attack stats, but Garchomp is faster by a bit and has a monster Attack stat. Both have nasty 4x Ice weaknesses but Salamence has more weaknesses overall, most notably, a Rock-Type weakness, which Garchomp could take advantage of with "Stone Edge", since it's Dragon/Ground. Overall, I'd say Garchomp (first strike with "Draco Meteor/Stone Edge" equals OHKO.) Garchomp is in the "Uber" tier for a reason.

PS: Did you get my round 2 pm?

I...am the NDL's official Pokemon NERD. XD Proud of it.

and Fallen (Sweeney Todd now, I think), I had the same thing happen to me just last month. Know what cheered me up? An assortment of web comics and funny internet memes. (Such as the one in my siggy, the "Osaka Shoe Kick". Hilarious. Also, lean on your family and friends! :)

I got your card. I'll rate it tommorow.

And I would have to contest your title. I am very confident in my knowledge of Pokemon. We need to find who is the greatest.

But you're right, Garchomp would most likely beat Salamence (but only if it had a Speed nature, which is unlikely since you'll want Adamant); but Tyranitar would beat Garchomp, given its 650 base stats in the sandstorm it brings into battle.

Alright, we'll have to see who's the true Pokemon Master! :) Haha.

You're right, Garchomp would probably only beat Salamence if it was bred for Speed, as Salamence would land an easy KO on it if it wasn't. Still, Garchomp + Choice Scarf is a deadly weapon if you bred it for Attack, even if it limits your move pool to one move.

As for Garchomp v. Tyranitar, I agree with ya, but Garchomp has a few gimmicks. ;) Sure, Tyranitar might bring a Sandstorm, but that actually benefits Garchomp, because of it's Sand Veil ability. Because of Tyranitar's mediocre Speed, Garchomp will usually get first strike and if it can dodge an attack or two, he could KO Tyranitar easily over a couple turns. (if you bred for Attack, that is.) I say a couple because Tyranitars defensive stats are excellent. If Garchomp fails to dodge Tyranitars attacks, then it's an OHKO for Tyranitar (Ice Fang, Avalanche), so I'd say Tyranitar has the edge, but because of Sand Veil, just maybe....Garchomp has a chance. :)

*looks back at long post* Wow.

I need to dig up my Diamond now...haven't played it in a while! BTW, post 900 for NDL Continued! :D
