Duelist Kingdom strategies were so flawed...I couldn't watch. The Abridged Series lampoons them perfectly. :D

But seriously' date=' what level is Baby Dragon? 3?

[/quote']

Yeah' date=' it's level 3. While the strategies were flawed, at least it was interesting. It was one of my favorite seasons.

[/quote']

Duelist Kingdom Failings

Yugi vs. Weevil: "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" effect: Lowers opponent's ATK in real time(!) (but resets after the advert break...)

Joey vs. Rex: "Time Wizard" inflicts Effect Damage to your opponent...

Joey vs. Mai: "Time Wizard" does not inflict Effect Damage nor destroy all monsters your opponent controls, mearly weakens them.

Joey vs. Mai (2): "Thousand Dragon" can attack all monsters your opponent controls.

Yugi vs. Yami Bakura: "Flame Swordsman" is a Fusion that can be played like an effect monster. And if you make Tea cry, it activates her ability.

"That's right kids! Make teenage girls upset and they gain magical powers!"

Joey vs. Bonz: "Call of the Haunted" is a Spell or Trap (depending on version) and can be activated from the hand regardless. Also brings back any number of Zombie-Type monsters.

Yugi vs. Panik: Need I go into this?

Yugi + Joey vs. Para + Dox: The Labyrinth is a non-fly zone(!)...despite it only coming up to "Black Skull Dragon"'s torso, and having no roof, so aforementioned dragon could probably just take off without too many problems. Or just blast it's way through, considering it's ATK is higher than "Labyrinth Wall"'s DEF.

Yugi vs. Kaiba: Apparently, you can use "Monster Reborn" to resurrect just one of the heads of "Blue-Eyes Ultimate"...and it can attack as a seperate monster.

Joey vs. Bandit Keith: All Machine monsters are immune to Spells and Spellcaster-Types (:D)

Yugi vs. Joey: It seems you can Summon "Dark Sage" when your opponent successfully activates "Time Wizard", instead of your "Dark Magician" being destroyed.

Need I go on?

Hey all, i got a question for you?

If someone created a website and made it so it was webcam compatible. Than the intention of it is to see and hear your opponent dueling in whatever your doing.

Lets say it was for all card players and you all could duel against others around the world, at your home, would you join up and buy a cheap webcam to do so?

Hmmm. Well' date=' IMHO, I'm content with just dueling online, not face to face. Also, with "around the world", there might be a language barrier.

But it sure seems like an ambitious idea! ;)

Yugi vs. Panik: Need I go into this?

Oh dear. Spare me. D:

Thanks, i think. Yea, i their would be the problem of language, but they would have a typing box in a corner of their screen, so then they can still see you for what your doing to the deck, but can tell you in your language, well thats 6th in my list of goals, now.

Well, apart from it being the biggest revolution in interactive international YGO playing, there would be many problems.

1. Like Sweet Lightning said, there could be a language barrier 2. Do you really want to see a fellow children's-card-game-playing-nutter? and 3. They'd need to upgrade the dueling mechanics to full automation, instead of you manually moving cards around.

I'd probably use it for the dueling, but not for seeing my opponents. (The Japanese can take some things far too seriously...Need I mention Cosplaying?)

Perhaps it's just an irrational fear, but I don't want to face off against someone dressed as Jayden from GX.

yeah, there are a few nuts like that. i remember that one episode of gx where the copycat duelist was trying to impersonate jaden at the end of the episode and jaden was all like "aaaahh...you're doing it all wrong!" and immediately runs up to him and starts showing/acting out how it should be done. xD

Max' date=' if you never saw my extra deck, the main purpose for Baby Dragon is to fuse it with 4 other dragons in my deck, with Future Fusion, to bring out 5 Headed Dragon!!!

[/quote']

I was thinking you'd probably have a strong dragon hiding away. Problem is, one of those face-downs was "Mystical Space Typhoon". After waiting for you to Summon "F.H.D.", I would have destroyed "Future Fusion" and cleaned your field.

FGD is not that great of a card. It can only virtually be summoned via Future Fusion or Dragon Mirror. Second is too slow, first is too easy to kill. The single good Dragon deck (and one of the best decks in the meta, I'll call him Tier 1.5) is Hopeless.

I am still amazed by the stupidity of those who made King Dragun and Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon...

There's also the old-school "Polymerisation".

"King Dragun" has annoying summoning conditions, "D.D.R." is a LIGHT Normal, and "Lord of D." is rather weak. Plus, a lot of cards can simply beat him down (low ATK for a Level 7).

"REDMD" was more balanced in the anime, but yes, it is incredibly overpowered.

EDIT:

I asked because I really don't know how to build a strong and powerful deck. I usualy use different card combinations in my decks.

Well' date=' despite me not knowing that much; it always helps to have an overall theme.

A Dragon Deck, or a WATER Deck, since then you can streamline and specialise your support cards and predict how well your Deck will fare against others.

For example, a Dragon Deck with P.M.D. will fare well against most average and Burn Decks, while having problems against swarmers like Blackwings and Aliens.

A Lock or Stall Deck will do well against almost everything but Ancient Gears.

This is the wikia page detailing all major Deck Types. Find one you like and make it.

EDIT:

@ Chaos:

*Max Darkness activates "Dragon Capture Jar"*
