Hidden War! A booster in the making

Hidden war is a set in the making, containing cards that manipulate the field in different ways. Many of the cards will focus on ownership and control, though there are others in the set. And as always, suggestions/critiques/praise/rates are welcome.

 

First Set

 

[HIDW-001] Documentation of Assets

Quick-Play Spell

Draw 1 card for each card and token you own that your opponent controls.

 

[HIDW-002] Martial Artist in Training

4/DARK/Warrior/Effect

ATK/1700 DEF/1700

When this card is summoned, special summon 1 "Sparring Partner Token" (Warrior-Type/EARTH/Level 4/1700/1400) to your opponent's side of the field. This token cannot be tributed for a Tribute Summon. If this card battles a "Sparring Partner Token", neither monster is destroyed by battle.

 

[HIDW-003] Loyalty

Continuous Trap

Your opponent cannot attack with nor activate the effects of monsters you own.

 

[HIDW-004] Sneak Summon

Normal Spell

Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your hand to your opponent's side of the field. During your turn, if this card was not sent to the graveyard this turn, you may remove this card in the graveyard from play to Special summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your hand to your opponent's side of the field.

 

[HIDW-005] Mental Understudy

ATK/1800 DEF/1900

 

[HIDW-006] Double Draw

Normal Trap

If your opponent draws a card outside of the draw phase, draw 1 card. During your turn, if this card was not sent to the graveyard this turn, you may remove this card in the graveyard from play to draw 1 card.

 

[HIDW-007] Borrowing and Lending

Continuous Spell

Once per turn, during your main phase, you may activate one of the following effects.

*Give control to your opponent any number of cards you control.

*Take control of any number of cards you own that your opponent controls. If you do so, you lose 500 life points for each card you take control of.

When this face-up card is destroyed, all cards your opponent controls that you own are returned to your hand.

 

[HIDW-008] Selective Parasites

4/WATER/Insect/Effect

ATK/1900 DEF/700

All monsters your opponent owns that you control are destroyed as long as this card is face-up on the field.

 

[HIDW-009] Psychic Flipper

2/LIGHT/Psychic/Effect

ATK/900 DEF/1200

Pay 700 Life Points to force the activation of a face-down Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls. If the timing of the activation of the card is incorrect, it is returned to its original position.

 

[HIDW-010] Recover Research

Counter Trap

Negate the activation and effect of an opponent's counter trap card and destroy it. Negate the activation and effect of the card that your opponent's counter trap was chained to, and shuffle it into its owner's deck. Draw 2 cards.

 

 

Second Set

 

 

[HIDW-011] Sneak Attack

Quick-Play Spell

During the battle phase, you can deal damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of one monster you own that your opponent controls. Then, remove the monster from play. Special summon that monster to your side of the field during your next standby phase.

 

[HIDW-012] Life Cannon

Continuous Spell

Once per turn, you can pay lifepoints in multiples of 100 (max. 500). Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the amount of lifepoints paid.

 

[HIDW-013] Illusiory Spy

4/FIRE/Spellcaster/Effect

ATK/1800 DEF/1000

If you are not the owner of this card, this card's original ATK and DEF are halved. In addition, you may not tribute this card.

 

[HIDW-014] Card Recall

Trap Card

When a card effect causes you to send card(s) from your deck to the graveyard, you can select a number of cards in your graveyard equal to the number of cards sent to the graveyard and return them to your deck. Your deck is then shuffled.

 

[HIDW-015] Deadly Morpher

3/WATER/Fiend/Tuner

ATK/1100 DEF/900

If your opponent controls a monster that you own, this card can attack your opponent directly.

 

[HIDW-016] Lightning Rider

5/LIGHT/Thunder/Effect

ATK/2200 DEF/2400

When you normal summon a Thunder-Type monster, if this card is in your graveyard, you must special summon this monster. If this card was special summoned in this manner, remove this card from play when it is removed from the field.

 

[HIDW-017] Twin Tuning

Normal Spell

Treat a monster on the field as a Tuner monster until the end of this turn. That monster can only be used to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster that shares the same Attribute as it. During your turn, if this card was not sent to the graveyard this turn, remove this card from play to treat a monster on the field as a Tuner monster until the end of this turn. That monster can only be used to Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster that shares the same Type as it.

 

[HIDW-018] Eager Warrior

4/WIND/Warrior/Effect

ATK/1850 DEF/1600

When this card is summoned, place a counter on this card. If possible, cards that target monsters must target this card first as long as it is face-up on the field. If this card would be destroyed, you may remove 1 counter from this card instead.

 

[HIDW-019] Alchemic Lizard

9/EARTH/Reptile/Synchro

ATK/2400 DEF/2400

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

This monster gains effects depending on the attributes of the Synchro Material monsters

*FIRE: When this card destroys a monster, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent

*WATER: When this card attacks, gain 1000 life

*WIND: If this card attacks your opponent directly, your opponent randomly discards a card from their hand

*EARTH: This card gains 1000 ATK and DEF

*LIGHT: If this card attacks your opponent directly, draw a card

*DARK: When this card destroys a monster, remove two cards from your opponent's graveyard from play.

 

[HIDW-020] Repossession

Equip Spell

You are considered the owner of the equipped card, unless the equipped card would be removed from the field.
