The New Featured Clubs/Org. Application Thread

Featured Clubs/Organizations are clubs that have filled out this form and been accepted. As a result they will be stickied. There is a maximum of 6-8 accepted clubs at a time, if you wish to apply read on.

Denied organizations/clubs may reapply after waiting one full month since the date of the denial, unless they have been permanently denied. Any complaints, whining, etc. about this will continue to push back the reapplication time. It could also very well result in warnings, permanent denial, and disbanding. Do NOT PM anyone concerning the status of your club, unless it has been EXACTLY one week of no activity in this thread. This means that no editing has been done in the thread for a full week. Any PMs received before that point will result in the instant denial of that club. Causing trouble over applications can lead to permanent denial and possibly lead to club disbanding.

 

NOTE: Make sure that you include all of the correct info before posting. Do NOT edit your post, or I will assume that it was denied and edited over. Your club will then be required to wait a full month before applying.

Making sure that the organization/club thread follows the rules is the responsibility of club members and no one else. Do not PM anyone about checking your club. Featured organizations/clubs will be held to higher standards, so if it cannot follow the current rules, it will be harder and less likely that the club will follow even higher standards.

 

Has your club been around for at least one month? (Date of the creation of the club/organization)

Your organization/club must be around long enough to judge behaviour. The older posts in the thread will be used as proof.

 

Have you, the club leader or representant, had a forum account for at least one month and posted at least 50 well-spaced (not 50 to meet this requirement), non-spammy posts? (Yes/No + Post Count)

You must be in good standing and have been around long enough to judge behaviour. Post count (showing that the account wasn't idle) will depend on your current post count, not what you or someone else thinks that you had in the past. If you have had any severe warnings or been banned for any reason, your club will be permanently denied. This is NOT debatable in any way.

People must show interest; it cannot be a random organization/club joining. Yes, I do realize that it will prove frustrating for some of the smaller organization/clubs, but they should grow with time.

Most often, having club-specific rules shows that some thought has been made. It should be listed in the first post. However, it is not required. If your clubs just functions by the section and overall site rules it’s fine as well.

 

Does your club have a ranking system? (Yes + brief description on how members are rated/No)

Same as above, it is not a must but if there is a ranking system it should be listed in the first post.

Most often, having a ranking system shows that some thought has been made. It should be listed in the first post. However, it is not required. If everyone does have an equal say in club matters, that's fine, but it should be true. Lacking a ranking system but still placing an emphasis on the leader will not be allowed and can easily be judged by the quality of the first post of the club.

This ensures that your club will always have something to offer for new members. There's no point in it being stickied for all of the new members to see if they can't even join.

[shiny and Legend Ranks]

 

To obtain a Shiny Rank, all you need to do is be active with the club, show off your Pokémon knowledge, and be all-around epic. You can do this by posting insightful information, or taking part in the clubs activities. Points have nothing to do with this rank, a 0-point member will have just as much priority to become a Shiny as much as a 500-point member. If you are a Shiny, you have a lot of influence about club events and tourneys, and can freely use that influence to your advantage.

 

To obtain a Legend Rank, you must have previously been a Shiny Rank. Legends are basically in-club Moderators, who can do everything I can do except change the first and second post. They can make events, they can ban people from the club, and they have as much power as I do. But becoming one is incredibly hard, as you must be a Shiny Rank, you must be very active and helpful, and you must fulfill a Pokémon-related task. Again, points do not affect the outcome of this rank.

The second version then was put into my hands due to inactivity and has continued to be pinned until a recent date. There are 4 ranks possible to achive

 

Slifer Red: This is where you start. You are only a Slifer from levels 1 through 25. A easy way to get out of this is by passing Placement test. The tasks for a Slifer Red isnt hard but it isnt easy.

 

Ra Yellow:

This is the second rank. You are a Ra from level 26 through level 45.

The Task for a Ra is Between hard and medium. But the reward is higher. The test are more challenging then Slifer Reds.

 

Oblesik Blue:

This is the last rank to most people. You are a Oblesik from level 46 through the rest of your time in the club. The task are harder and so is the test. But as I said the rewards are better.

 

Duel Academy Mod:

This is the second highest rank and the highest rank possible to achive. You can be a mod at any level. To become a mod you must be a great club member. You need to be helpful, nice, etc. You will be pmed when you become a mod. You can do everything that the ranks can do. You are kind of second in command you are in charge when I'm gone and when I tell you that your in charge you can also level up other members.

 

 

 

1: Completing tasks

Task will last for 2 weeks. Here is a way you can easily LV up.

2: Winning Duels

You can duel anyone at any place. Though we do recommend you use YVD. Ways you can duel, YVD, PM, Chatroom ect.

3: If I just feel like you deserve it

By helping members in anything, you can gain DP.

4. Making good cards

Make and post your cards. Custom Cards mod may grade your cards.

5. Post Graphic

Dont feel like posting cards? Well post your graphics to get DP. Or if you dont feel ready to post your graphic at showcase, post them here.

6. Posting your deck

Post your deck. We will grade your deck and help you out with it. Or if you dont feel ready to post your deck at Your Deck section post it here.

The orginal Real Duel Academy was sticked in the past. But since tallman95 left, the club was unsticked.

I was the cause of the 1st club's warning due to spamming. But I was new and didnt know what I was doing. But I did change :p

Anyone who disrespects another member will receive a warning. Two warnings and you will receive a 2 month ban. If you think you have changed your ways after those 2 months you may re-apply. If you receive 2 bans, a permanent ban from the club will be put out. You are allowed to post decks, custom cards, or anything within the forum that you would like to advertise, or for us to make note of. Administrator:

 

At some point I will most likely let someone else become an administrator alongside myself. That person will have the right to make changes to the thread and do pretty much everything. Unfortunately, they can't actually change the thread, so they would pm me what should go and what should be added. This takes a lot of commitment to the club. If at one point I don't have time to continue on with the club, this member would gain control of the club, and make a new thread. Until there is a member of this position, the Co-Admin is my right-hand man.

 

Legendary Super Mod:

 

Can accept or reject members. Give warnings, and suggest changes for the club, and raise members' club rankings. Must be active in helping me with the club. If I'm the only Admin, then whoever has this position will be reffered to when I'm making big decisions. Only 2 members will have this position at a time.

 

Elite Member Mod:

 

Whenever a new member (of the club or outside of the club) makes an impressive thread, card, deck etc. You will pm me the link of that thread. If they are not a club member, please invite them to join the club. I will look at the thread and see what they deserve to receive. I will congratulate them, etc. and they will most likely be moved to a higher ranked member, which is a prestigious honor for a new member in this club. I will most likely only have 5 patrollers at a time.

 

Council of Graphic Guiders:

 

This is a position of members with expirience in graphic design. To gain this level you MUST at least make the club a banner and prove to me that your graphic designing skills are strong. If you pass this rank, then you will become an 'Honorary' Member of the council.

 

Senior Member:

 

 

I have noticed their activeness, and they consistently participate in the club's activities. They are on the verge of becoming members of the staff.

 

Advanced Member:

 

There are many reasons for becoming an advanced member. If I have noticed complete kindness towards new members, but not much club activity has been shown, then this is your place. If you are a new member that has proved to be very skilled, or improving greatly in certain categories then you will be moved here. If you have been with the club a while, and post occasionally, you will also be here. This is sort of the middle-man position.

Is a 3 star or higher YCM member that has provided little, or no help to the club yet.

 

Newb of YCM:

 

You are a 1 or 2 star member on the forum. You may have great potential, but need the older, more experienced members to guide you through the beginning.
