i got one review done ill post it tommorow [or today if you want]

Yeah' date=' post it up. No offense but your grammar needs work too.

[/quote']

dont worry, i used good grammar in this [just not in my normal posts]

heres the review i wrote for F-Zero GX just now ill post the thread in about 10 minutes
Good day, im Insert Name Here, and erliar i wrote this review for the racing game of the future, F-Zero GX for the Nintendo GameCube.

To start off ill tell you about the story mode. The story mode may have only 9 chapters, but the chapters get harder than the last, making it tough to beat. The plot for story mode is your rival Black Shadow is tring to win the Grand Prix for his master, and you must stop him from doing so as Captain Falcon, a bounty hunter thats been hunting down Black shadow for years. I wont reaveal the chapters, but depending on whatdifficulty you beat each one, you can unlock a new pilot [the driver of the hovercrafts]. I give this a B for the difficulty, yet how short it is.

The Next feature is the graphix. Theese are what make the game most unique compared to all the Mario Kart Games, because you can actualy see scratches and dents left in your machine [hovercrafts]. The graphix also show alot of detail in the background, like in Aeropolis, you can see each and every biulding almost as if you were right infront of it at 1,200 feet in the air. Theres not very much more to say about the graphix except they creators focused more on the background than the Track or machine. I say this deserves a +B.

There is another feature in the game where you can create your own machine. There are three main parts to the whole machine, but each one effects it diffrently based on wieght, speed, acceleration, and grip. The main parts are Body, Cockpit, and booster. there are a hundred diffrent parts to choose from, but theres a downside to them, you gotta unlock almost all of them. But then theres the option to creat your own elbem to put on the machine, its pretty much the same as Mario kart Ds's excpet the colors also have the RGB sliders, and more options. After you applie the elbem and parts, then you change the color. Theres not a whole lot to it, but most of the machines youll make arent very good on the 4 star and up tracks, but theyll score mayjor wins on the 3 star and lower tracks. This feature gets an -A for the fact that its the only game in the series to do this.

Now ill tell you about Grand prix mode. Its a one player part to it that has a total of 5 cups, but once again you gotta unlock 2 of them, then the championship track which also requires bieng unlocked. Each cup has 5 tracks to them. and the selection can go up to 44 machines ad pilots total, giving you w huge variety to choose. i wont say anything involving all the tracks, but most tracks are 3 star and lower, making it very simple right...Wrong. Fire Field may be a 2 star, but its very difficult, but youll have to play it to see what i mean. Theres one thing to replace items and there called attacks. The Side attack and spin attack may be the only 2, but each one has the potential to blow up your opponents in one shot. Theres a downside, if you come in first, the next race youll start out in 30th aka last place. But certain tracks have obsticals to over come, and quonquer. Theres not a whole lot more to say to this, but the tracks are fun, you can keep youself busy for hours with your friends in the multiplayer mode which is the exact same thing as Grand prix mode except theres only about 2-4 people per track this time. This mode and multipayer deserves a +A

The controls are a pain, but in the options page, you can change them, and do a whole lot more [not realy], but i recemend changing the controls immedaitly. Theres not much more to say for theese because the controls are all you should worry about. I give this a C for lack of options.

With all the Pros and Cons to this game i have to give it a -A for the difficulty of the game, and theres almost always something to do in it. I highly recemend you get this Players Choice game immidieatly.
Story

__________________

You play two characters, but one mainly. His name is "Soap". You are a newbie in the S.A.S. ( I looked this up on Google and didnt find anything D:)At the beggining of the game, a terrorist in Saudi Arabia kills Saudi's President, excuting him on national television. Your job is to find this guy, and capture him, while doing other stuff like rescuing a captured informant, and protecting a stranded war tank. There is a tiny twist, but nothing major. It all ends with an explosive ending. ;D

After you finish the game there is a special mission you unlock, in which you are still with Gaz, a well known character in the game, and your on an airplane. You breach the airplane and are sent to go and retrieve a hostage. You have a time limit, in which if you dont find the hostage in that time he will die. On veteran, this is very very tough.

Gameplay

__________________

The controls of the game are quite easy to be frank. Shooting and killing is as easy to do as saying 1. Along the course of the game you will find a variety of guns, but most of the time in the story they will not have scopes, or any type of attachment. I find that dissapointing, because really, terrorists can't be THAT poor. Along the story of the game there are collectables, and in turn they give you achievements, and the ability to use "cheats". Half of the "Cheats" are just changing how the screen looks, or how fast/slow you move. But there are a few that could totally help if you just feel like going through the game on the hardest difficulty, veteran. Speaking of difficulty, the game isnt very difficult, on Newbie, Regular, and Hardened. It has a alright lenth, but when your playing on Veteran, the games hardest difficulty, you will die so much that it will take you a long time to finish the game, unless you are very good at it. On veteran, if you are seen by one enemy, all of them will stop doing what their doing, and start shooting you, which I find utterly annoying.

Graphics

__________________

Honestly, these graphics are great, for 2007 standards. The grass is very thin and paperish, as well as the bushes, and the water will not splash when you get into it. The enviroment will not change around you, unless you change it yourself, as in shooting the ground, trees, walls, cars, water, etc. For some reason, i find that on hardcore (Where you have no HUD , radar, friendly fire is turned on, and bullet damage is greatly increased)The game's graphics somehow get much better. You can distinguish between characters easily, as only the basic enimies and allies look the same. Even when you shoot a shotgun, you can see sparks fly out of the gun, as well as most guns. When you get a headshot blood spatters all over whatever the person who got killed was, and creates a "ping" noise. Blood in this game is rarely seen imo, but if your a headshot honcho, you'll see it a lot.

Online

__________________

Yeah, this is what we've all been waiting for. Online is a MAJOR feature in this game, as it'll keep you playing for hours and hours on, if your with the right people. You can do numerous things in each different game mode, as there are quite a few. As you level up you unlock the use of several different guns, each with different uses and different strengths. There are 5 gun classes, and each have different upgrades. You also have the choice to use perks, each having a different effect on your character, such as shooting faster, reloading faster, being unable to be seen on radar, etc.

Challenges are a good part of online as well. Challenges help you level up faster, unlock upgrades for your weapon, and unlock new camoflauges for your guns.

One of the major features of online is the option to "prestige". Once the player has gotten to level 55, he has the choice too lose all of his guns, challenges, upgrades, etc, to set thier level back to 1 but on a new level, as in you have a new badge, but thats about it. You can only prestige 10 times.

One of the other major features that keeps people playing is the ability to unlock Golden Camo. Once you have gotten all of the challenges in a specific gun class (I.E. Assault), you get Golden Camoflauge. All it does is make parts of your gun golden, and nothing else. It makes the gun look cool, and thats all.

Overall

__________________

+Online is awesome

+Story is great

+Gameplay is great

+Graphics are meh.

-Story should be longer imo.

-I honestly dont have anything else against the game, except parts of the story line. You'll find out what I mean if you play it.

Rating: 9/10

Hope you all enjoyed!
My 1st week as a movie reviewer, i'll start it off with orphan.

Movie Poster:
orphan-poster.jpg

Trailer:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8OjaV3gyOI

Story:

John and Kate Coleman are feeling stress after their child was stillborn. The loss is mostly hard on Kate, who is still recovering from a drinking habit that cost her her job. They adopt Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman), a 9-year-old Russian girl they had met, from the local orphanage. While Kate and John's daughter Max (Aryana Engineer) embraces Esther almost immediately, their son Daniel (Jimmy Bennett) is somewhat less welcoming.

Kate grows suspicious when Esther, who watched Kate and John have sex. The next day, Kate talks to esther about this, with Esther replying," I know, they f**k". Not long after Esther arrives, she pushes a schoolmate down a playground slide, who had picked on her, breaking her ankle. Max saw Esther shove the girl, but covers for Esther by saying that the girl "slipped". However, she is even more alarmed when Sister Abigail, the head of the orphanage, warns her and John about Esther's tendency to be around when things go wrong. Esther overhears this and later kills Sister Abigail with a hammer to the head. She convinces Max (puts a gun to her head) to help her hide the body and the hammer. Daniel sees Esther and Max descending from his treehouse from behind a rock, not knowing they hid the hammer there. Later that night, Esther threatens to cut off Daniel's "hairless little prick before knows what its used for" if he tells anyone what he saw.

Kate is told by the orphanage that they cannot find any record of the Russian orphanage Esther came from. However, John does not believe her, despite continued ominous behavior by Esther. That night, Esther picks flowers for Kate that are from Kate's special plant and Kate pushes her to the ground. Later, Esther breaks her own arm in John's vise and convinces John that Kate broke it in the scuffle from earlier that day over the rosebush. On Esther's first day back at school, she slips Kate's SUV into neutral, nearly killing Max. Badly shaken, Kate buys two bottles of wine, but at the last minute pours one of them down the drain and leaves the other full.

Kate learns that Esther was housed at a mental institution in Estonia called the Saarne Institute, but when she expresses misgivings to John, he and her counselor think that Kate is relapsing into her drinking habit. After John produces the other bottle Kate bought the night before, he threatens to leave her unless she gets help.

Daniel learns of the hammer from Max and decides to get it and go to the police. However, Esther sets the treehouse on fire, intending to get rid of the evidence and kill Daniel. Daniel escapes by falling out of the tree, and gets a severe neck injury. Esther tries to finish him off by smashing a brick over his head, but Max shoves her out of the way just in time. Esther again tries to kill him at the hospital by smothering him with a pillow. As doctors rush to save Daniel, Kate angrily knocks Esther down for doing that and is sedated by doctors.

That night, Esther tries to seduce a drunk and sad John. John realizes Kate was telling the truth all along and threatens to call the orphanage. Esther, angry at being spurned, ransacks her room and later stabs John to death. Max witnesses this and hides in her laundry hamper.

As Kate is coming out of sedation, she gets a call from the Saarne Institute's director, Dr. Värava, who reveals that Esther isn't a 9-year-old girl at all, but a 33-year-old woman named Leena Klammer. She has hypopituitarism, a disorder that stunted her physical growth, and has spent most of her life posing as a little girl. The doctor tells Kate that Esther is dangerously psychotic, and Kate should rush home to her family. Kate rushes home, where Esther shoots her in the arm before searching for Max.

Their chase takes them outside to a frozen pond, where Kate and Esther struggle before falling through broken ice from the knife Esther tried to stab Kate with. Kate crawls out of the hole, followed by Esther, who begs for her life, addressing Kate as "Mommy". Kate angrily responds, " I'm NOT YOUR F****ING MOTHER!", and kicks Esther in the face, breaking her neck and sending her back into the pond to drown. Daniel lives at the end.

My Opinion:

The movies is rated 14A, but it feels like R because of the slaughter and sexual content.

I also think Esther got killed too easily. Maybe they could've made her death a little more bigger.

Strengths:

The suspense. When I needed to to the theater's bathroom, I also didn't want go at the same time because I was so addicted to watching the movie.

Weaknesses:

The movie wasn't really haunting compared to movies like The Haunting in Conneticut, or 2009's Friday the 13th.

Overall Rating:

In a scale of 1-10, I'd give it 8.3/10.
