-chan=Japanese way of saying friend as a female. Like I would call Kari Kari-chan.

-san=Japanese way of saying friend as a male. Like I would call you Fenal-san.

-sama=Japanese way of saying friend to a superior. Like we would all call YCMaker, YCMaker-sama.

-kun=Japanese way of saying friend to a lover. I don't know anyone that's a good example, so I'll just do this: lover-kun.
