Yu-Gi-Oh GX Tag Force (PSP) 6/10.

Good game, but it gets very repetetive and you can only wonder, with a bit more time this game could have been the best Yu-gi-Oh game ever.

Graphics:

They did a pretty good job here capturing the anime series but they could of done so much more. Only a few monsters are captured in 3d form, which sucks. The characters look nice, but the 2d style roaming is just bland and unimaginative.

7/10.

Sound:

Simply horrendous. The music is completely lame and thats about all the sound actually in the game. They could of tried a lot harder in this section.

0/10.

Gameplay:

The actual dueling part of the game is very good. Basically the exact same as the real thing. Where this game suffers is the lack of anything else to do. You have the usual locations that you can travel to, but once there, the game really lets itself down. There are no sidequests, nothing to collect, nothing to find or do except duel, which is fine if thats what you brought the game for, but you have to think about how good this game could of been with an extra month or two in development. The tag-dueling gimmik this game uses is done pretty well. But becomes very frustrating when your partner decides to use a black hole whilst you are completely in control of the duel. Tag-dueling becomes dull very quickly and a normal duel is just more fun.

6/10.

Lifespan:

Basically endless, although there is very little to do, the sheer amount of cards on offer gives the game some depth. Althpugh at times it can be a chore to get through, once you get into the later stages of the game, it finally becomes exciting. The amount of decks that you can create from the various cards is huge. But once you have finished the game, which should be a good 30-40 hours, if you duel most people alot, the game has nothing to bring you back for more.

8/10.

Kingdom Heats - 7/10. Good game, good story line and graphics, but the only downside is you have to be tailed by Donald and or Goofy (Riku = uber Kool)

Yugioh World Championships 2007 - I don't think it's come out over here yet, from what I know it's on Nintendo DS and there are animations for monster attacks, spell / trap cards and you can customise yoyr own duelist, it's a game on my want list at least. (Not having played it I won't give it a rating)

Pong - 1/10 utterly dull.

Is that your own personal opinion or did you get that off of somewhere?

Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings and Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors Expantion (PC)

Graphics: 8.5/10

Some of the in-game graphics are somewhat pixelated when you look at them close up, this obviously isnt the most graphic heavy game but it still have some crisp, clear and beautiful scenes in-game.

Gameplay: 9.5/10

With some of the 18 races having a total of 8 missions each plus a random skimish mode, map editior and multiplayer. This game will immerse you in bloody battle for a very long time.

Audio: 9/10

Nice music and sound effects and each civilization?s units speak in their respective language, you may also add in your own.

OVERALL: 9/10

Buy these games, you will not regret it but if RTS is not your thing then forget it.

Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2005 (PS2)

This game, even though recently suceeded by it's sequal, is still a must have for all cricket fans. In most parts of the world, it is known as Brian Lara International Cricket 2005. This game is so good because of it's diversity, I have friends who have never played cricket before in their life who absolutely love this game. You can play as (almost) any of the world's international, even the USA, I bet most Americans are suprised they even have a cricket team, if they know what cricket is, of course. You can create custom teams, custom players (namely yourself, etc.) and even play with and against some of the game's (cricket's) greatest past legends, alot of whom are now deceased.

Graphics: 9/10

Gameplay: 9/10

Features: 9.5/10

Overall: 9/10

Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2007 (PS2)

This is the sequal of the very successful (depends where you come from, I guess) RPIC '05. While this game is still good, it focuses solely on ICC (International Cricket Council) events such as the World Cup and the Champion's Trophy. Which is why this game is not necessarily as good as the first. This game allows you to create up to 16 custom players and 16 custom teams, as opposed to RPIC '05's 3 and 10 respectively. The downside is the exclusion of Classic Players and Autosave, which both featured in RPIC '05. Overall, gameplay has improved dramatically, as will be seen in the below results.

Graphics: 9/10

Gameplay: 10/10

Features: 8/10

Overall: 9/10
