360 has just as many good games, which are already out. Gears of War, Halo 3, The organge box, Assassins creed, BioShock, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Dead Rising, Mass effect etc.

 

So why does it suck? Games will not support and will never run in HD resolution. In this day an age to NOT include HD support is completely unacceptable. For a console to be even considered "Next Gen", it NEEDS to have this! Games are in their own proprietary format. which means no DVDs or HD DVDs. The guts inside this console are pathetic. The hardware was outdated before the console even came out. The games do not vary in genre, and they are all geared towards toddlers to teens.

 

But wait, people say the controller is revolutionary ! To a point, yes it is. Remember the glove for Nintendo a long time ago? The truth is that Sony and Microsoft can and probably will make a controller similar to Wii controllers. That is the ONLY thing Nintendo has going for it. If you want to put down 150 or 200 dollars on this system cause of a controller, go right ahead.

 

But wait, some people might say Nintendo lets you download the classics! Give me a break. There has been emulators around so you can play your classic games on many consoles and the PC for years now. Not to mention there are those plug and play retro games that work with any tv.

 

People who buy the Nintendo Wii are casual gamers, and I have no problem with that. But the console is far from revolutionary. Its not the best thing ever made. And please, for the love of god, develop a game thats NOT based on Mario.

 

I will never say the 360 isn't great it is, but I love Nintendo.

Everyone. What's the point of buying a system for that price for crappy graphics? If you only care about gameplay go buy a gamecube and stick with that. And the gameplay on the wii is a gimmick, 360 gameplay > Wii

 

And nintendo has about 3 big names and that's it. Zelda, Mario, Samus. Playing the same three characters gets old fast.

lol you missed on of the biggest franchises in history Pokemon. Plus they also have DK and Kirby.

There's like one Pokemon game for it. And the only DK game on wii is barrel blast which sucks. As for Kirby, the new game could be good but we have nothing to judge on.

 

 

The graphics are though, it's supposed to be next gen. The graphics look like Gamecube's. Compare it's graphics to the other systems and you'll see a BIG quality difference. And screenshots are one thing,but the actual game is another.

That's where your wrong. Some games don't use much motion sensing at all, and have a more classical feel. Switch between these games and actiony games and you won't get bored. And you can afford to buy different types of games because they're cheap!

There's like one Pokemon game for it. And the only DK game on wii is barrel blast which sucks. As for Kirby, the new game could be good but we have nothing to judge on.

 

 

The graphics are though, it's supposed to be next gen. The graphics look like Gamecube's. Compare it's graphics to the other systems and you'll see a BIG quality difference. And screenshots are one thing,but the actual game is another.

True but it's not like they won't have games.

 

I can't deny their is a quality difference but give it time and they will get better. And like I said you wouldn't get a kick ass game if it has crap graphics? Graphics helps but they shouldn't be the make or break of a game.

Tkill listen to me, GRAPHICS ARE NOT EVERYTHING!!!!!! Next Gen is not all about good graphics (though I would be a fool to say they have nothing to do with Next Gen), so what if the Wii does not have HD? So what if the 360 and PS3 all have way better Graphics? I DON'T CARE!!! By the way the Wii is not a Gamecube with a new controller, it has much better graphics then the Gamecube did, it just does not seem like it because a lot of the better games that came out for it were originally supposed to be on the Gamecube ex: Legend of Zelda, and Super Paper Mario. Have you seen Metroid Prime 3?!? Have you seen Super Mario Galaxy?!? I've heard people say they look pretty close to a 360 Graphics wise.

I have the Wii and Xbox360 and the wii is fun but go with the xbox since the wii dosnt have alot of good games. I mean it does have zelda but xbox all day.
